Put simply - Casa Muuch was an exceptional experience. I rarely give 10/10 but the unique concept of ‘home away from home’ really did work its charm. Lucia, the house host, was simply fantastic. She went above and beyond to assist me where she could, and even upgraded me to the ocean view room when the space was available. All the staff working there was friendly and kept smiles on their faces (somewhat rare in the world we live in). The breakfasts in the morning were made carefully by two chefs who clearly know what they’re doing. The Mexican style omelette was an absolute killer. The property had building works next door, but Lucia and the team did what they could to accommodate something out of their control. I originally intended on staying for 2 nights but extended to 5 nights because of how great the space was, and how friendly Lucia is. I will be sure to recommend this to anyone visiting Holbox…

A delightful stay at Casa Muuch! Originally planning just 1-2 days, we ended up staying for 8 days filled with unforgettable experiences. The warm welcome from the manager, Karina, made us feel at home instantly. The house itself is an oasis of relaxation, with cozy rooms offering breathtaking views of the sea. Notably, the delicious breakfast, prepared with love daily, was a culinary delight. Casa Muuch deserves five stars in all categories: from the friendliness of the staff to the cleanliness and the dreamy internet connection. After disappointing experiences in three other higher-priced hotels during our 8-day stay, we finally found Casa Muuch. These prior disappointments highlighted the importance of genuine hospitality and quality, both of which are abundant at Casa Muuch. We'll cherish Karina and Casa Muuch in our memories and eagerly look forward to our next visit to this paradise hotel!

Right on the beach, lovely intimate feel with just a few rooms. Fantastic breakfast! About a 20 minute walk along the beautiful beach from the main centre - we really enjoyed the walk. Being a little outside the main centre it was quiet at night and there were lots of pelicans and other sea birds around all day.

Our room had 2 double beds plus a single bunk bed over the top. We were a couple (last room left when we booked) so didn’t need the bunk bed. The issue was that there wasn’t enough room to sit up in bed without hitting your head. It didn’t spoil our holiday at all as we were mostly outdoors but the view from the room was stunning and it would have been lovely to have had that option.

What I can say? Amazing place, amazing staff (Thanks Lucia that helped me to organize also a suprise for my girlfriend! You and the staff have been amazing) The place is super nice and Holbox is developing a super nice and cool type of tourism. Chilling is in the air. The room was super nice, well furnished andthe bed hyper confortable and clean. Everything was working correctly and properly. Swimming pool cleaned every morning, 2 steps (really) from the ocean. Amazing breakfast (the best I had in Mexico!) and near to shops and restaurants!

Great location, right on the beach with amazing views of the sea, a few restaurants/beach clubs near by We loved the included breakfast with fresh juice and lovely food made to order Also really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace watching the sunset, perfect spot for it

The room was very minimalistic, it would need a bit more solution for storing clothes or hanging stuff We had a room on the first floor which meant we could hear some noise in the morning coming from the kitchen as they were prepping breakfast since there is no door between the kitchen/living room and the stairs

Beautiful location on the seafront with the best view of the sunsets. We had an added perk of a mini pool on the rooftop so heading up there to watch the sunset was just amazing. It was well located to town being only a 10 minute taxi ride. The roads were quite flooded when we were there so it made walking to and from town difficult. The host Maria was super friendly and helpful. Even organised a night time bioluminescence trip which was great and recommended the walk to the nature reserve. It’s a solid 2 hour walk but it was the highlight of our time there! The breakfasts were good and the rooms were always very clean (and smelt amazing). The view was so serene and definitely wish we had planned to stay longer.

There wasn’t a lunch or dinner option and as guests you’re unable to use the kitchen. The surrounding hotels / restaurants shut quite early on the days we were there so without a trek or taxi to town, food options were limited. There was a lovely restaurant 2 minutes walk away however which had delicious pizza so we ended up there a couple times. Everything else was perfect.

The breakfast was great, the view from the room was amazing, the staff on duty was really helpful and nice. The location is slightly from the centre (15-20 minute walk) but we actually liked that because the other part felt really crowded.

It’s on the most beautiful beach of Isla Holbox, and has a fantastic view. There is a pool overlooking the beach and ocean and this comes off the dining area and lounge. I loved the atmosphere of the shared space where the yummy breakfast is served overlooking the pool and the beach. Thanks so much Lucia for making my stay so special. Isla Holbox is a serene and beautiful place and my stay was magical.

The breakfast was really good, their chefs are brilliant!

The water pressure was intermittent which was a bit frustrating but that was an island problem. They are building another resort next door and it is a bit noisy and messy but as long as you go knowing this it isnt really a problem unless you want to sleep during the day...

Has this BnB vibe, with very nice staff and great chef. The hotel literally on the beach with perfect view from the rooms. Our room came with a roof top jacuzzi The casa was only recently opened. It was really quite and only the next door beach club played music during the day

No real dislikes, but because the casa just opened this year, there are a few things that they were still working on. For example, the rooftop with jacuzzis has great view but lacks some comfort, more beachchairs, some shade, plants etc. A booklet or pdf with all the services they offer and about the facilities would be nice (bike rental, massages etc.) Hopefully the team keeps improving the place :)
