I like the food, it was amazing the taste especially the night restaurant with the reservation Mexican restaurant was a five star Michelin. The chef was on point with the taste and texture. The people was welcoming and in every corner where one to greet you and if you need it anything they where there to help. I felt like if I was in Disney line. This is a must go back. Ps. Don't miss the karaoke night 🎤 is a must go that night and the mariachi night as well.

What I didn't like was the night club. The DJ was unprofessional and didn't accommodate the request from meny guess. He was putting what ever he wanted and was only putting what he like. Most off the time the club was dead because of that. I had many reviews done to Google and this is the first time I am writing a bad review. This was the only bad part of the resort.

We stayed three days for a wedding (fabulously on the beach!). Our first experience of an 'all inclusive' resort, not our usual style of travel but perfect for this occasion. Room was lovely with a big balcony, great shower and perfect bed with beautiful linen. Meals are plentiful with lots of choice, beverages unlimited. On the beach, massive pool, bars, tennis courts and other activities available. Everything is there and the staff are professional and efficient, very friendly and seem very happy working there. All this makes for a flawless stay. We didn't try the Mexican restaurant alternative as it was booked out the only night we had available, but by all reports from others in our group who tried it, the food is very good there too.

Location, landscape, pool area, drinks, guests, maintenance. The property is gorgeous and in a nice area of town. Shows and entertainment were fun. Tennis court and basketball court were nice

Food was NOT good. Buffet and specialty restaurants were all bad. The restaurant was also pretty dark and did no match the rest of the hotel atmosphere. Gym Was not good.

Usually all inclusive hotels in the region are not the best place in terms of food, but for our surprise we really enjoyed the variety of the food been served, helpful staff and the great shows performed every night, specially we like the professional level of circus and magic show. Drinks been served without keeping long waiting lines. Kids club is recommend for those who are traveling with kids to keep them occupy with a care taker while adults can have space to enjoy the activities.

I would be better if they can spare one small pool with water slides and additional equipment to keep the kids active in the pools.

What I like most is the rather simple but delicious buffet every day. If offers basic Mexican stuff, but the taste is much better than any other buffet options I know. The pool area is relaxing and offers some, but neither too much nor too intrusive entertainment. Daily shows at evenings are nice as well. Not world class, but good enough to have some fun at evenings. Rooms are larger that at other hotels in this category and well equipped. None of the aspects are the greatest ever, but in total this was my third stay in Allegro Playacar and I guess I'll come back.

This year I could only complain about one rainy day - nothing else.

Staff attitude was great, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Especially Izabella and Marvin on reception. Beach was fab, food was great even in the buffet on the beach and main building. Entertainment was good. Rooms were cute with a hammock. Smaller resort to easier to get around and get to know staff Clean, good service Most rooms a couple of minutes from the beach Beach activities good Wasn't too busy so we had chairs on beach and by pool if we wanted. Staff really do their best to please you which totally made our stay lovely - as well as the lovely food (as some of the bigger resorts fall down on buffet quality)

If you want a budget friendly vacation that still provides beautiful accommodations, then stay here. I’ve stayed here 3 times now in the last 18 months. What I like is that it’s affordable, the location cannot get better & the staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. The food was tolerable. Some nights it was great, other nights not so much. I did enjoy the breakfast as it was simple and had a nice variety. The location is only a 10$ cab ride to Fifth Avenue and takes about 3–5 minutes. The drinks are also good and the bartenders will treat you like family. I am looking forward to visiting again!

The food can be improved. Everything else has been wonderful.

I loved the size of the resort and my room's proximity to the beach. The resort was easily walkable and the grounds were green and lush. The beach front, sand, and palm trees for shade were all perfect. We never had to work that hard for chairs, even with a large group. The beach was kept clean and organized by the staff. The staff was wonderful. Kind, friendly and attentive. Bartenders and drinks were great, food either met or exceeded expectations almost all the time. We went out dancing three nights at the club and had a great time. I like that the DJ quickly accommodated requests. During breakfast I loved the chilaquiles, omelets and juice. During lunch my favorites were usually the more Mexican foods, including fish and other meats in delicious sauces. We got wonderful massages at the spa and went parasailing, which was amazing.

I wish our bracelets were more like a watch style, because they often fell off which made me nervous about the $100 fine. I thought the process for requesting dinner reservations was overly cumbersome. It was annoying to have to wait in line during the middle of the day. We were also told multiple times that they wouldn't be able to accommodate us at certain times, especially with a larger group (8) but then the restaurant would never be more than half full. It would have been easier just to come at opening and be told what your wait would be, or potentially request through an app. The food at the Asian restaurant was my least favorite of the trip, especially the sushi. There is a lot of room for improvement there.

Great smaller resort with beautiful beach. The staff was great. Just some of the wonderful staff we connected with were Abel, Israel, Bernardo, Fausto. We enjoyed the beach, pool, night club & evening entertainment.

The signup for dinner could be more efficient. Waiting in line daily when you could be at the beach wasn’t fun. There were some small improvement that could be made to make the rooms more functional including shower heads that stayed in place and replacement of lights.

Very happy overall! Staff friendly, grounds spectacular, tennis courts, basketball court, pools, A+. Coffee & drinks were mediocre [coffee machine was working 1/2 the time & coffee in restaurant was weak: C-]. They let us stay until 3pm last day!
