The room was wonderful. We loved the use of wood and art and architecture of this hotel inside the lobby, marvelous roof, and the room furniture. Gave a a mixed feeling of past and modern in terms of design senses. Beautiful lobby. Breakfast was overloaded with options. The reception were amazing and made it very easy and smooth for us. The hotel is just in front of beach. It was lovely we could open back gate with our key and visited the beach as well for some peaceful swim. The location of the hotel is also great. Just front of it is the opera, and like 2 min walk away is a little neighborhood front of sea with many cafes and restaurants to chill and get a wonderful glance of Muscat peaceful vibe. Hotel workers are wonderful and nice. Hotel got padel, tennis, gym, water activities, and a sport club. So you got some options to explore. and couple of restaurants inside the hotel.

We pretty much got very satisficed at this property. The pool is more of a family vibe. Like some children also around. if some people want absolute silence at the pool, that's not the case there, but you can mix it with the beach peacefulness in the morning or noon before it get's crowded in the evening. The pool design is not for a professional swim. It's simply for chilling in water and walking in it. So depends on your pool mood preferences; but as I explained, it can be combined with the beach experience just in front of the hotel and the hotel also has a some water sport activities to offer.

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. During out stay it was clear that customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything they do. The food was exceptionally good, with cooks preparing meals live right in front of you. It was a delight to watch them work their magic, and the flavors were simply outstanding. The chef cook made a point to come around to each table, introducing themselves and asking how we liked the food. This personal touch made the dining experience even more special. What really stood out was the CEO of the hotel, who was always present for the guests. They would come and talk to us, asking for feedback and how they could improve. It was evident that they genuinely cared about our experience and were committed to maintaining high standards. Every member of the staff, from the kitchen to the reception, cleaners, pool attendants, and sauna staff, was exceptional. They all clearly knew what they were doing and performed their duties with a level of professionalism and friendliness that is rare to find. I would give them all 10 out of 10 stars. Overall, this hotel sets a high bar for customer service and quality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

Parkings were far from the intrance (nearby parkings were occupied by restaurants and sport clubs clients) the remaining ones were designed in open area As far as I paid attention and I hope it was not a general case, the room service staff didn't use gloves to clean the trash beans and the same person was responsible for changing and replacing the towels, I have no idea about making the beds.

Given the heat and humidity, the resort pool was great and we were able to order drinks and snacks poolside. (Alcohol was not served till the evening on Friday for religious reasons but this was not a problem as there were many alternatives available.) The variety of food at the various hotel restaurants was delicious and the serving staff were welcoming and informative about the menus. Becoming a member of IHG gave us excellent discounts at the restaurants

Many of the hotel staff did not engage with us as guests so there was a lack of a warm welcome. There was an official warning that the air quality was very bad and advice to stay indoors - this may be a seasonal problem. The location seemed quite a distance from many sights and attractions.

Swimming pool area was awesome, the beach was just behind to the hotel. Very clean and chill area. Even it was not a private beach, we felt very very safe there, we left our belongings and swim in the beach without any issue. They all take care of us with special care. From the resort swimming pool area, many thanks to Arumugam who takes care of us, Thanks to you and all your teammates. Really nice persons and nice team spirit. From the room service, we have to thanks all the staff especially Sahabaz and all his team ! Room was always clean and as soon as needed something, they were always here to help us. Many thanks as well to Nadin and Jovin, there were always welcoming us and give us special attention to us entering in the restaurant ! merci 🙏 The food was really tasty, for the breakfast always a large choice of dishes, all was fresh and delicious. Regarding the dinner, it was always different type of food (Arabic night, Asian night, European night……) that make our stay discovering new type of food and it was really good ! From the restaurant area, we wanted to thanks all the person who worked there, to Yfali and his Team, Yeera, Ruqaiya. Wonderful hotel, right next to the Opera House and excellent public beach that you can reach simply through the glass door next to swimming pool. Breakfast was very tasty, 12rials/person, great variety&quality. Rooms well equipped, modern, clean. We arrived super early at 4-5am, but reception guys made it smooth and comfy for our early check in experience (enjoyed swimming pool area&breakfast later while waiting) Really appreciated!!! We visited italian restaurant Tomato, pleasant outdoor, amazing tomato soup and fresh juices that Ashutodh (our waiter) convinced me to trust r truly fresh which was true🧡 and we had IHG discount as well. SPECIAL THANKS to Saleem and Rukaiya guys from reception for taking care of our requests so kindly, truly this hotel has wonderful friendly atmosphere due to human factor! They always went an extra mile to help us with everything. Its very positive, polite and respectful hotel, everyone, even guests in the lobby. Thanks to this hotel (as we didnt go around further away) Oman and omani people overall made great impression on us, positive, very very respectful&with sense of inner calm, indeed relaxing for mind and soul. Something that is not limited to hotel, but noticable also in Muscat airport. If youvare particularly sensitive to detergent smells, there is strong Dettol-like scent all over airport and in the hotel wherever there are carpets. It feels super clean as well, but for my highly allergic mother&my sensitivity to smells it was rather problematic to enjoy breathing in. Could be personal. Also, keep in mind more conservative swimming wear is preferred on public beach, t-shirt&shorts mostly.

Highly recommend the breakfast! I reluctantly chose to include breakfast in our booking but so glad I did. I actually looked forward to wake up for breakfast when I went to bed at night :) The buffet is large and varied and as a family of four, with four different tastes, we were all very happy. I especially liked - the Asian/Arabic/Oriental sections where I enjoyed dahl, hummus, noodles, meat courses and curry veggie stews, falafel, vermicellly, different types of flat breads, falafel and more - the freshly baked bread, both the different type of bread and the various pastries - the large spread of fresh, cut up fruit - the coffee (and tea) bar where they make just about every type of coffee drinks and teas and I noticed that they had various type of dairy and non-dairy milks. - fresh, tasty jucies There was more - like an omelet station, continental breakfast foods, salad bar, waffles, pan cakes - which my family enjoyed but I didn't try myself. Everything looked plentyful and fresh, even when we showed up late for lunch - kudos to the lovely, helpful and hardworking staff.

Great welcome by the reception staff, mr AbdulRahman assisted us very well. He was so kind and professional. He upgraded our room with a later check out, and gave us a discount towards dinner. It was very much appreciated as we were doing a tour of Oman, and this was our last stop before heading home. The hotel itself is old, first to be built in Muscat! However it was very nicely decorated inside. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The facilities were amazing too, with a choice of three pools! Family one, kids and the best was a lap pool! We have been to many luxury hotels and hardly come across a lap pool! The beach has a locked door access from the pool area. Seeing a separate beach was pleasant too as the locals get access, unlike other countries where hotels occupy most of the beaches! The beach was natural and unkept. It was the most cleanest and pleasant to swim in. It was quiet in the morning but evenings it gets busy. There are no seating, however there were large stones to sit on should you like a seat with a height. Breakfast and dinner was great. A wide selection of fresh food. Staff were so helpful and polite too. Overall we really enjoyed this beautiful hotel, it was so quiet and peaceful which contributed to a well rested sleep and atmosphere. We will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you 🙏

For us was not an issue as we stayed only 2 nights to explore Muscat, but who wants to enjoy the sea - the beach is public, outside the hotel area and not very attractive. I would consider this hotel as a “city hotel” rather than a “resort”

Location was great.near to many restaurants and chilling areas (Opera House). Breakfast was good with good varieties.Tried Tomato restaurant and the Chicha lounge,enjoyed the perfect service and hospitallity.Hotel reception granted us early check in due to our long flight which was much appreciated. The Hotel inside decorations was stylish and amazing.

Hotel external facilities needs a rebrushing from pools to hotel paints. The most disappointed thing was the beach.there was no private beach,It is a public beach and walk in area with lot of domestics (Had a an alteraction with one guy who was filming ladies in Bikinis.reported the same to the hotel since there was no security staff outside). We choose to avoid the beach and swim just in the pool areas inside the hotels).
