This Hotel was one of the Best experiences we ever had at a hotel!!! The Beauty of the Thai Art, The unbelievable pools as long as football fields ( temperature perfect), The warm, generous and kind staff members, The incredible Baray Suite ( 211 LIBRA ) , The free shuttle to the beautiful Kata Beach, lots of action along Kata Beach shops, The beautiful breakfast and staff in the restaurant and Absolutely Awesome Room Service!!! I could go on and on but I'm sure you get what I'm saying!!! This Hotel is a pure Hidden Gem and I'm so glad we took a chance and tried something different for our stay in Phuket!!! Not to mention we got the most amazing rate too with breakfast included!!! Highly recommend splurging just that little extra and getting the Baray Villa.....FIT FOR A KING/QUEEN 👑 ( WAS LITERALLY THE BIGGEST BED WE EVER SLEPT IN....... Excellent staff, great location close to shopping, restaurants, beach. Rooms were immaculate, most of all were staff. They couldn’t do enough for you to make your stay comfortable . Nothing was a bother always smiling.

Breakfast could include more non meat varieties. Dishes were 95% chicken but there was still egg station cheese and cereals and salad

Great location. This property is a real gem 💎 Check out the property on tiktok. We rented bikes, so the property was super handy to the beach, food, and everything you need while in Kata Beach area. Staff are super nice, a real credit to the property. We stayed in the pool Access Suite. Nice room and more than comfortable. We liked the pool access directly to the rooms shower, so there was no walking water into your room. Room layout was awesome 👌 The room was cleaner than many we have used in Thailand for a similar level of property. I would rate this at the higher end for a 4-star property at one of the better beaches in Phuket. The most stunning property, it really comes to life at night as the lights kick in. They have gone all out with ambient mood lighting, makes the property feel magical. The pools are amazing, and the spacial Thai styled property really makes you feel like you are not staying in a resort full of other tourists. This place should not be missed. Just out the entrance to the right is a great massage spot, they also do a helpful laundry service. A little further down is a very reliable motorbike rental run by a lady called Amy. She is super nice and has the best tips on where to eat around town.

Really nothing to complain about.. Only minor point - be careful on the tiles around the property if it rains. As you would expect, they get slippery.

We are feeling at this place as in a paradise of Phuket. We love the Sawasdee village so much!! It’s very romantic, very authentic, very clean and with high quality service. It’s a big resort but you have a lot of privacy and don’t see other guests around. There are several swimming pools with bars and also children pool. There is a coffee room. Breakfast is very variable. Restaurants food is very delicious. There is also a Spa. The design of resort is amazing. You can say it’s an instagram place but it’s more than that. We didn’t want even to go out from resort because you feel so good there: so relaxed, so comfortable. The resort location is also perfect. It’s not so far from food market and the Kata beach. To Kata beach it’s beter to go with a free shuttle from hotel. First we rent just a room and then we move to a the Baray Villa. That was a good choice! With a gigantic bed, swimmingpool which starts in your living room… we love Sawasdee village so much that when we came back home to the Netherlands my little child 2,5 years old says now every day : “ i want back home!” ( to the Sawasdee village)

Absolutely everything! The room we stayed in - Room 203 Aquarius - was simply stunning. Yes it had some small repairs/paint work needed, but nothing could take away from the fabulousness of this room! Firstly, it is not a room, but a 2 story apartment with its own jacuzzi leading to its own pool, which leads out into a large sharing pool. Just superb. The staff are some of the most friendliest we have encountered in all the countries we have visited. Nothing was too much trouble, from the happy, helpful guy who sorted our luggage to and from our car, to the wonderful lady cooking the omelettes for breakfast each morning! Just lovely, happy people. Room service great, gym facilities perfectly adequate, an all round fantastic 5 day stay to start our Thailand adventure! Thank you all at Sawasdee Village for making our stay so perfect.

Nothing at all

Gorgeous rooms (we stayed in the Boray Villas which were beautifully appointed, spacious and really comfortable. Luxurious bedrooms upstairs and fabulous living area downstairs. You could swim out from the villas which all fronted on to a wonderful tropical pool). Pools were fantastic - several options and some wrapped around the hotel for what felt like miles. Lovely communal spaces - relaxation areas, games area, seating, gym. Great breakfast - varied and generous. Hourly shuttle to the beach, or a nice 10 minute walk. There are plenty of great eating spots nearby. Sugar and Spice was a favourite for us, and the nearby night markets. Friendly staff with easy check in and out. Despite being quite a large hotel, it felt like a lovely boutique place to stay and a fabulous oasis in Kata.

Everything was great and exceeded our expectations.

Everything about this resort is magical. The facilities are beautiful. Definitely a luxury stay. The spa and massages were THE BEST, staff at the entire resort were friendly and so accommodating. The aesthetics were a 10/10. And the food was the best we’ve had in Thailand.

Wish we would’ve stayed longer.

It is such a beautiful place, full of charm, beautifully lit and very Thai. Lots of attention to detail. We stayed at the Baray Villas and they were just gorgeous, especially the exclusive pool for the 14 villas, which is stunning and was empty all the time. Another level. Breakfast was fine, but not amazing (nothing wrong, just underwhelming, but we had just had some of the most wonderful breakfasts at the Sukhothai in BKK and Keemala in Phuket, so hard acts to follow I guess).

We has stayed there a long time ago (16 years) and it was one of our favourite places ever. However, although of course we expected it to have changed and to be fair, it is very well maintained and charming, we couldn’t help but to feel slightly disappointed as we think they went over the top with some decoration, which now looks a bit tacky in some places. Also were shocked that despite staying in the Baray Villas for days, we were not allowed to have a free 1h late check-out (it was not about availability, but about charging for it). Not very accommodating, which is not common in Thailand.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, so much attention to detail. It really lives up to the images. The staff were wonderful and always friendly. The pool bar was great. The pools themselves were lovely, was really a very special place. The Spa was very nice also. Breakfast was good - I felt a very good amount of options.

The room felt a little dated compared to the rest of the hotel and my light on the ceiling didn't work and my bathroom mirrors lights were also flickering. But very minor in comparison to the overall stay.

The entire complex was beautiful. Probably the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in. Staff were very friendly throughout the complex but especially at breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated with some welcome drinks for our anniversary. Breakfast and breakfast room were both super. We used the spa which was fabulous if expensive but well worth it. The staff really knew their stuff. There is a lounge facility for after you check out which was great. A nice touch was mosquito repellent sachets left in the room each day.

Size of our room. It was very small with an enormous bed. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and they gave us room 106 which was beautifully decorated, there was no view. The room was at the entrance and we were woken at 6am by a lot of noise due to the location of the room. We asked to be moved and were offered room 115 which was the same type room, facing the pool and moved later that day. We were also offered an upgrade but at an extra 50euro per day so we chose not to take that as we felt we had already paid enough. The room had no drawers and one very tiny wardrobe so we ended up living out of our cases. There was no openable window so there was a very noisy dehumidifier in the room.
