the Primerose hotel is a family-run establishment, modest in its appearance but with attention to detail, extremely clean and made special by its owner, Philippe, an extraordinarily friendly and sensitive person who tries in every way to make his guests feel good. My wife and I are two cyclists, and we highly recommend this hotel especially for those who cycle. Spacious, totally safe bike room, where you can hang your bikes without the risk of them scratching against each other. We have always eaten at the hotel, excellent food, set menu, respect for any special needs everyone may have (my wife doesn't eat meat). Philippe was nice enough to understand the character of the various guests and immediately seated us next to other people with whom we then made good friends. The total cost of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to visit the Pyrenees, with a special focus on cycling. From the hotel it is indeed very easy to do the Tourmalet, l'Aubisque, Hautacam, Trumouse, Gavarnie. Thanks again Philippe

nothing, all was perfect

Phillipe and Valerie were very welcoming and helpful. This hotel is really well set up for cyclists with secure bike parking, bike work station and bike cleaning. We appreciated being able to have both breakfast and dinner on site. We also enjoyed the cycling camaraderie of the other cycling guests, of whom there were many. We were able to hand wash our clothes in a laundry and to hang them on an outside washing line complete with pegs. A wonderful one night stay.

Location perfect for cycling. All considerations were given to cyclists. The hosts Philip and Valerie were so attentive and wanted to make sure your stay was comfortable. Restaurant staff were excellent. Food provided was brilliant and I’m a fussy eater! Safe secure parking provided, storage for bikes and the ability to tend to your bike for cleaning, maintenance etc was all available. First hotel I’ve been in where I’ve not had to lock my bike or even store it in my car or room. Very quiet and restful ambience after a long day in the saddle.

Great base for cycling in the area. Secure indoor space for parking bikes. Repair stand, workbench and place to wash bike. Very good breakfast and dinner. Good parking spaces. Nice room with balcony and air conditioning. All staff was very friendly and accomodating. Philippe gave great suggestions for cycling routes and hiking in the area.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. We were in the area on a cycle tour across France and the staff were excellent helping us secure our bikes and offering to help with anything else we needed. Would recommend and will visit again should we be in this area.

A rare 10 for me. I hope it will attract only nice people to this very good hotel, nearby city center, park and thermal center. Lovely owners, healthy food and airco in the comfy room with balcony. Meal and room for less than 110 in peak season. Full of cyclists.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms that had all the facilities I needed. Just off the main road and scout 5 minute walk from the historic centre of the town. The owners were very nice and helpful. There's gated motorcycle parking.

The bathroom was small

Clean, convenient and very welcoming... Philippe is a superb host and very helpful. A fabulous cycling base with a great and secure bike garage. Perfect!

Perfectly clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very good location. Biker friendly. Valerie and Philippe were great hosts. First we booked for one day but then extended for one more day. We really enjoyed our stay.
