We also passed through Argelès-Gazost on our this year's motorbike tour through the Pyrenees. The hotel was perfectly located on our route, a simple yet solid and clean establishment. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome, the bar was manned and the usual glass on arrival was secured. My room had several separate beds, the bathroom was reasonably sized. Worth noting is the restaurant: We didn't want to go out after the day on the bike and decided to have dinner there - a super decision after all. Very nice service, super tasty food, definitely all thumbs up. The breakfast was typical of the country, basically nothing was missing.

A fantastic well located, comfortable hotel in a great location with the most wonderful staff. We were really well looked after and hope to return. We particularly enjoyed our meals; both breakfast and dinner were excellent and the menus of the day were exceptionally good value. There were garages for cyclists to leave their bikes securely and provision for charging e-bikes. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was quiet with lovely views (see photo).

A wonderful family-run hotel has a long history. We stayed three nights to visit different valleys for walkings. It is a perfect location. They could accommodate a room with three single beds for our three 18 years olds. The rooms are perfectly simple and comfortable, not trying to put a lot of pretentious equipments. That is the way we loved it. The bed was comfortable too. All staffs were very warm. Also the restaurant was a bonus with good food. Thank you so much. We will be back again.

The staff were very friendly and the room was good for 3 people. They were excellent in welcoming our dog.

Not enough variety at breakfast. A more protein-based variety of eggs and cooked meats to support a day’s exercise would have been appreciated. Also, many hotels now have free coffee available throughout the day since machines are commonplace. It was not the case here.

Have been to Argeles-Gazost many times, a great place for a road cycling holiday with many Tour de France climbs in close proximity. My first time staying at this hotel. All good about my stay, restaurant was great, good food and reasonably priced. Breakfast also good. I'd really like there to be a fridge in the room. Wifi was best in the lounge area but quite slow / sketchy in my room on 2nd floor. Love the view from my bedroom window over Hautacam, great for seeing the sunrise.

Hand held shower in the ensuite to my room. A walk in shower would be better please. Would also like there to be a small fridge in the bedroom.

The staff were warm and friendly, the hotel was clean, peaceful and the food was good. The Hotel also has free car parking. The location is excellent for accessing the Haute Pyrenees. The 18 km, tarmac walking/cycling path between Lourdes and Pierrefitte-Nestalas passes very close to the Hotel.

The bar area is located in the welcome/reception area which contains all the administrative storage cupboards, diaries and paperwork relating to guest records

Good location, for cycling rides to High Pireneeys (Tourmalet, Aubisque), close to city center, close to asphalt cycling path to Lourdes, very good food, room everything you need though not new, nice and helpful waitress in restaurant speaks Espanol, good relation price/quality, own parking free of charge

Quaint but well-maintained hotel and restaurant. Excellent breakfast and meals in restaurant good quality and reasonable. Bedroom very small. Shower was hand-held type over bath but plenty of hot water. Bathroom also very small. There is a lift. Off-street parking was easy and free. Located walking distance to town. Staff friendly and helpful. We were there in quiet season. I imagine this hotel would be packed in summer.

There was no electric kettle or cups provided.

The staff were most helpful. The room was clean and accessible. However it was at the front of the hotel and we were kept awake by other guests sitting in the garden drinking until quite late on two nights. Breakfast was a buffet and plentiful.

We ate in the Dining room one evening and it wasn't a good experience. My wife had seafood that had recently come out of the freezer. Her dish was tasteless. i had a steak which was quite well cooked.

Very friendly staff. The hotel is close to all the shops and town centre. Very nice food in the restaurant. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the mountains.

There is no kettle in the room, and there was no hook to hang the shower head, so we had to hold the shower head while having a shower. The shower hose was not long enough to have a shower while standing. However these are minor things that did not affect the quality of our stay.
