It's a calm place in the middle of greenery. Convenient parking lot. The covered pool is convenient to use regardless of the wind or clouds. Breakfast is served at a large tablecloth-covered table with a decent number of dishes and very tasty pastries. The large, well-equipped kitchen can be used at any time to cook on your own. The hosts are very friendly and always ready to answer your questions. Tom is very helpful with places and attractions to visit and detailed directions to them on paper maps.

Nice and quite location very close to La Rochelle. What we liked the most is the exceptional kindness and availability of the host who provided us a lot of helpful tips on places to visit and how to reach them and on restaurants. We would have missed a few very beautiful spots without his help!

Room slightly little, maybe removing the small wicker table and chairs inside the room could help make it more comfortable

Parking was good and secure, the hotel was in a quiet location. Breakfast was good as expected, the room and facilities were clean and comfortable, we didn’t use the pool but it looked good and there was a kitchen facility which we didn’t use but looked good. The host was very helpful in organising our day with us he gave good advice.

The hotel was a long way to any restaurants we had to drive into town about 15 minutes, everything else was good.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The hosts made us so welcome, and Tom was invaluable with providing information on the area and what to do. The accommodation is immaculately clean and comfortable. The area is quiet and peaceful but very well situated to access La Rochelle and Il de Re. The seafront is only a few minutes walk away where there are a few beach huts offering food. We ate at the black and red shack with a basic menu but absolutely fantastic food. Ice cream place next door was a great find too. I totally recommend Locatlantique and wished we had stayed longer than 2 days.

Nothing everything was lovely

The place was meticulously run, all aspects were very clean and tidy. The gardens were beautiful, and we felt right at home strait away. I would highly highly recommend this place if you plan to visit the area. it’s position means you can easily access Il de Re Island, or La Rochelle. Tom the owner gave us extensive guidance on making the best of our stay. Giving us tips on places to visit and how to get there. He is a very knowledgeable man and a pleasure to talk to. we will definitely return to Locatlantique when we are back in the area.

Lovely peaceful location, yet within easy reach of beaches, marinas and historic places of interest. Lovely clean accommodation and great breakfast. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, who makes all visitors very welcome. Would return again but stay longer next time. Loved the pool.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel is located on a quiet one way rural road and is close to La Rochelle. Fabulous covered swimming in a fantastic garden setting. Breakfast is served in a delightful conservatory area. The whole experience was very relaxing. The room opened onto a terrace area with table, chairs and sun awning overlooking the lawn. The availability of a shared guest kitchen allowed us to shop in the local market, bringing back items to cook our own dinner. For anyone with particular dietary requirements this is a godsend.

Very friendly and helpful host who speaks German, French, English and Italian. Nice pool and grounds, lovely kitchen area, good WiFi, great breakfast. Air con in some rooms now. Rooms are pleasant but quite small and basic. Our 2nd time here and we'll be back!

Lovely property and very well located for Aytré beach. Thom was very chatty and was keen to give us plenty of information about the area.

Thomas and Chantelle could not have been more helpful. Tom goes out of his way to make sure you get the most out of your stay. the property is very close to La Rochelle which is a bustling city. my boys loved the pool and the garden is so well kept.

would recommend for a few days while visiting La Rochelle, only disadvantage my children would have liked more activities.
