Position to town centre 15 mins walk. Ease of finding hotel. Modern, light and tasteful decor. On street free parking. Ample paid on site secure parking. Light and spacious reception/lounge area. Excellent bedroom size & facilities. Good breakfast offering hot and cold options. Very competitive pricing on accommodation websites. Staff friendly and efficient. Polite and helpful. Excellent service from all members.

There is nothing to dislike! I spent many years in the hotel business and I can find no criticism with our stay. 1 night 3 guests in 3 separate bedrooms. All excellent value for money.

The hotel was a 15 minute walk to the Old Town and port area - which was lovely and very nice to walk around. There are many shops, restaurants and bars available in the Old Town. The breakfast buffet was good with warm options (e.g. eggs, bacon, pancakes), small selection of cheese & cold meats, and a variety of breads and baked goods. The double bed was comfortable and definitely large enough for two people. The room was very clean. The hotel offered safe, if a bit pricey, parking.

Our double room was rather small for a several day stay. The construction in the area around the hotel was unbelievably bad - constant road closures which google maps was not always registering. With the one-way streets, it was not easy finding the hotel. We did an excursion one day and it took us 10 minutes to just get out of the immediate area with the backed up traffic. The area immediately around the hotel did not offer anything - you really had to go into the Old Town for restaurant or shopping options.

Great updated spot. Prices very reasonable at the time we stayed. Hotel staff was A++. Our dogs were welcome, bed & linens were super comfortable, parking was easy. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. We’d absolutely stay again.

Nothing but will mention that obviously there was major road repair happening in La Rochelle when we stayed, but other than having to take a road not suggested by Google maps, it didn’t impact us at all. Hate for the hotel to get dinged for some other have no control over.

The cleanliness of the hotel from the minute you walk in. The bedroom was spotless. Very large and comfortable bed with lovely crisp linen. The bedroom very contemporary art. Lovely big TV which we didn't use. Kettle with a few sachets of coffee. Location a 15 minutes walk to the port. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Hotel was fresh and modern and the room was comfortable and clean. The walk in shower was excellent and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the dining area well laid out. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Parking was secure and right outside the hotel entrance. We would use this hotel again.

The location is a little way out from the Harbour but it is only a 15 minute walk there but we knew this when we booked our stay so no problem.

The staff at the reception was very nice. The room was large, clean, and it had a nice bathroom. The breakfast was good. We could park the car in the hotel parking, which was useful, as we left the luggage in the car.

There were construction works on the street, very close to the hotel, and it was difficult to find our way when we arrived. Going by foot to the old center is fine, but quite a walk, passing through an area which is a bit empty (don't know if ok during late hours).

Spotless, not spacious but well designed and nice bathroom and travel kettle in a bonus. having travelled through Europe for a month I cannot understate how lovely it was to have such a welcoming receptionist (you’d be surprised how many fail on this) .. also the gardens and lounge area all very open plan and easy to access.

ground floor was convenient and also quiet but I was woken by the smell of bacon (I’m a vegetarian!!!) LOL it was expensive compared to other hotels on my European trip but I think that’s La Rochelle hotels generally .. but it was also all excellent

The room was very clean and comfy. Not a huge amount of space but adequate. Bed was very comfy and the coffee making facilities and smart TV were over and above what we expected at this price range.

We paid for secure parking which was only secured at one end. The "exit" was unsecured. also there were bike racks but they were round the back of the property without security TV coverage and next to the unsecured exit !!

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. They really went out of their way to help us. The rooms were clean and spacious. Plenty of free parking around the hotel too.

I didn’t like the location: it is only a 10 minute walk to the centre but the last part of the road has terrible lighting and lots of overgrown weeds along the canal so visibility was poor. It didn’t feel safe as a woman walking home at night. Fine during the day though. Breakfast was ok, not a great choice but passable.

Very clean and modern hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good with a variety of choice, and we didn't have to check out until midday, so didn't feel rushed.

After I booked, I noticed later that there was a cost of £12 euros per day for secure parking which should have been made more clear before booking. However, there were some limited parking spaces outside the hotel and we were able to park in one of those.
