The pool was really nice being heated and undercover, staff were very helpful. The room was well equipped and the balcony was lovely to have. Short walk to Carrefour and bakery. Easy bus ride from Airport to hotel because it was the hospital bus stop. Would highly recommend!

Very minor things like the hairdryer was difficult to use with a short cord, the bins were tricky to find and know which items went in which bin to recycle. But really nothing to complain about or be a reason not to stay.

Having Air Conditioning. If not ensure vents on windows are cleaned. We cleaned the vents in the double glazed window and door. As it was blocked. We did not open them at night for fear of mosquitos. Would recommend management to have in their procedures. To clean vents once a month. To enable fresh air into the rooms. This will result in less complaints and better customer satisfied. We could not sleep second night as room was like a furnace.

Excellent location only 3 min walk away from the centre and port. Our apartment was small but we made it work for us (2 adults +2 teenagers 14 and 16), beds were comfortable. Son just managed to fit in the bunkbed. The bunkbeds seem to be more suitable for under 12 year olds. Our apartment had a nice little veranda and view of a lake. The apartment building has a swimming pool that was busy most of the time but we did find a quiet time to make use of it. The apartment was clean, location was perfect, service was excellent. Reception staff were very helpful and kind. Check reception opening times and make sure to ask how and from where to collect your key if you plan to get here after the reception is closed. I am lucky and glad to have arranged a key collection cause our flight had a delay and we arrived when reception was closed.

Returned to La Rochelle for the second time in 3 months and would highly recommend Pierre & Vacances. A nice little hotel with a swimming pool less than a 10 minute walk from the Old Port and town centre. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending somewhere to eat closeby with our baby son when we checked in later in the evening (special mention to Ragazzi restaurant - delicious!). It's worth noting the reception desk is only open at certain times each day but this isn't really an issue if you communicate with them beforehand. The hotel pool was great also as we had to stay indoors on one day of really bad weather. The pool is spotlessly clean and quiet. The room was the perfect size for our family stay and the studio aspect allowed us to cook our own breakfasts and lunches if we wanted. The main bed was a pull out bed in the main room but again this was not an issue for us and was a very comfortable bed to sleep in. Would happily stay here again if we no doubt return to La Rochelle in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel is very well placed for walking to the port and the evening life of La Rochelle. The kitchen was well equipped The dog was made very welcome.

We stayed during 3 very hot days in La Rochelle but the rooms are not air conditioned and we had 1 fan to share between the 2 rooms. Also, very limited space in the hotel car park which you have to book in advance which wasn't very clear on the website. There is on street parking outside but it can be busy.

No change of towels during 5 day stay they wanted 9 euros to change them over or wash and dry them yourselves for 8 euros in the laundry room and wait 3 hours for washing machine and tumble dryer. Would've been happy to pay 5 euros for fresh towels, but to be charged more than what it costs to wash and dry them yourselves makes you feel like you're not on holiday

Pool was great. Lovely and helpful staff . Room was compact but great for the off-season price. Ordering croissants or baguettes for morning is a great perk. Didn't get breakfast so cannot comment. Great location. V quiet.

The pillows were not good. But that is the only complaint in a great stay.

Good pool, occasionally busy but good size. Love the location, easy to walk into old harbour but on a more peaceful side of town, very close to the train station so good for day trips. Staff were accommodating and helpful. Beds are fine, nothing spectacular. Simple set up that worked very well for us.

Check in is fairly late. I knew this already and understand why, and also they have facilities to provide for you for luggage storage, but it would be nice to gain access to rooms earlier.

Very clean apartment with a well stocked kitchenette, a balcon and a bathtub. Nice swimmingpool with +28°C water temperature. The residence is conveniantely located between the railway station and the old port. Possibility to do laundry at a small extra cost, and to have hotel breakfast.

I have no complaints and wish to return soon.

Great central location with secure parking, clean and tidy and helpful staff

Car parking could be clearer, you need to make sure you reserve a space as they get taken and the fact that this is additional cost and separately booked is not as clear as it could be. Having to make up your own bed is “unusual” but a quirk rather than an irritant.
