The hotel is very well located- central but in a quiet area. A good small supermarket is next door. 5 min walk from the Aquarium and 5 min walk from the old port. The bike hire station is next to the hotel. The hotel only has 10 rooms, our was in the 3rd floor. Very spacious room with lovely French double windows. Good insulation and quiet. The conditioner cools room nicely. The bed was superb and all bedding staff were very high quality. Good shower and a nice stylish bathroom. We had a nice and comfortable stay and will come to this hotel in future when visiting La Rochelle again.

The breakfast was lovely but too expensive for what you get. Also a kettle would be nice in the room or at least in the breakfast area to be used through the day and evening. These, however, would not stop us to come back to this hotel as we really loved it!

Room and bathroom cleanliness Double glaze windows. (Lucky as there is a bar with live band underneath). We were on the 3rd floor and could not hear anything. Good breakfast (maybe a bit expensive for the limited choice) but for 10 rooms, hard to expect a full buffet ! Public carpark (underground) 2 mns walking and reasonable for an overnight stay. Location is very good as it is in the center of the city but aside the busy harbour front and the thousands of restaurants.

Mattress too soft. (but that's very personal) Cleaning product smell when entering the room. (Lemon/citrus spray ?) but is it negative or positive ? Up to everyone to judge.

Location was superb. The room was perfect looking out onto the street and not noisy at all.

The Reception closed from 12 - 3pm. We arrived at 12.30. The early bus from Il de Re did not turn up therefore we were delayed getting to La Rochelle by 1 hour which was not our fault. We had to keep our luggage with us until 3pm when the hotel opened up. The was an inconvenience to say the least.

Small but very cosy room, nice and clean. The bathroom has actual bath (not a shower cabin). The hotel itself is small so not much guests inside and at the breakfast. Very good location - very close to the old port where you can find bars, restaurants, souvenir shops and boat terminals to different tourist directions.

Just a small remark that there were hair in the bathroom at our first check but that doesn't repeated the rest days. All in all it is a very good place.

Location is exceptional. It is very close to the lovely port and to the fabulous aquarium and the maritime museum.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Only a short walk from the station and walking distance to lots of local sights. Very clean. Good breakfast at extra cost.

Hotel is a bit awkward with 2 key codes needed for entry, bit noisy, not too soundproofed, but you are staying in a nice place.
