We did have reservations booking a 2 star hotel but from the photos and previous reviews decided to give it a go and we are so pleased we did. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy The shower rooms are clean and modern. Plenty of hot water and toiletries Separate children's sleeping mezzanine was a huge hit Great to have a TV and be able to watch some of the Olympics (even though non of us speak french) The buffet breakfast was brilliant value for money. Good but basic selection of cheese, meat, eggs, bacon and cereals, pastries, bread, yogurts, juices and tea and coffee

Slight musty smell in the room when we arrived but this quickly went Our room wasn't cleaned or towels replaced during our stay however we didn't realise we had to request this. When we asked for more towels they were supplied straight away

I prefer the layout of B&B La Rochelle to others. Larger room with corner desk area, reception area with seating, vending machines, and microwave. Also small outdoor terrace. Location is great next to the cycle path & within walking distance to the station and town centre and harbour (the beaches are a bit further.). Helpful staff.

The hotel is well located in the city centre just 10 min walk, lovely staff, easy instructions, great communication, good space in the room and in the car park. The family room had two floors, plenty of space. There was a microwave downstairs that I found it very helpful.

The price could be more friendly and include the breakfast

Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is very conveniently located near the train station. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. Hotel was mostly quiet.

There was a little bit of street noise. The only window is the door to the balcony. The only way to get fresh air is to open the door, which I couldn't do for safety reasons when I was out of the room.

The rooms are standard but OK. The hotel is very near the station. The stuff is very kind.

We were travelling with colleagues, and had a misunderstanding with regard to different B&B hotels in La Rochelle - so it is recommended to double check the location. It is not a problem of the hotel, but good to know.

Perfect location by the train station and 10 minute walk to the beautiful city center and marina. Loved the cleanliness and nice room. I also am working remotely at night and the breakfast room was happily opened for me to work in there. I was grateful for this since I'd been locked out of common spaces at other hotels on my trip. Highly recommend this hotel.

Had problems with delayed flight which made me miss the first night but I asked them to keep the room open so I could check in on arrival early morning, there was no problem with this. Its across the road from the train station which is good and its within easy distance of the harbour fronts.

Large apartments, sun blinds, very clean, modern shower and clean towels. We are happy with the choice of this hotel! We had a great rest!

The building needs some renovation on the outside, but everything was great inside! Oh, there was no hair dryer in the room yet.

Room was as we expected, very clean however the bed was not so comfortable. Location of hotel was excellent and breakfast was very nice.

Carpark was full which was unfortunate as this was one of the main reasons we picked this hotel as my husband is disabled. No assistance was offered to find us alternative parking and we had to park 2 blocks away. Uncomfortable bed.

The staff were very helpful and kind. They let us into our room early. We were delighted as we were up from 4am. They gave us extra blankets because we were cold and got us a private taxi when there was no taxis to be found on a Sunday. The food was lovely also.
