Good location just outside the center - walkable and quiet neighbourhood. The double bed was very good (mattrass and pillows), but the sleeping couch was a bit too small and not so comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly well! Lots of options and very tasteful. Also good alternatives for people with intolerance to gluten and lactose, like my husband!

Good location, express check-in available if you arrive late (including car parking). Good location: 10-15 min walking from the port and old town. All necessary facilities for short stay. Friendly staff, they eager to meet all reasonable requests.

Clean, not too far from city center and aquarium. Plenty of safe parking space. Friendly staff, speak good English.

Staff member on arrival was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us a map and advise on where to look for restaurants that would be most suitable for us (eating early with a young child). Breakfast was a reasonable selection, location was good - short easy walk into town. Plenty of carparking space. Room was spacious and clean.

The room was a little dated, but it was large, clean, comfortable and served its purpose!

The reception staff were very good. One spoke English which is very helpful and important today. Room was very clean. And bed was comfortable.

Not that it can really be helped but very close to the hospital. So be aware the air ambulance will fly overhead. And it's loud!! Luckily the property is double glazed.

The beds were very comfortable. The fans provided were needed as there is no air conditioner in the rooms. The balcony was great.

That the cups for water were not available once the reception was closed. There are no vending machines.

very large room plus a terrace . there was free and secure parking on site, that we were allowed to use for the rest of the day even after checking out, which was super useful as we went to do some sight seeing before leaving later that afternoon

the property it is lacking charm and not was as close to the city centre as we had imagined (20 min walk) but worked out for us given it was only one night stay

An excellent location in La Rochelle, good value and then a comfy stroll to fish restaurants, followed by a stroll to see town sites en route to the old port later before returning to hotel. Much more parking in the location, which was excellent. Facilities as at previous location but this time literally town centre - great! Will use these hotels again in Europe as are wonderful value.

Really nice staff, clean, good kitchen, loved the balcony, location was great with cycle paths outside the door, parking great, lemonade in the afternoon, chilled water available at reception

No air conditioning

We requested ground floor room and this was provided; we found the room very clean,comfortable;although no aircon fan was adequate ; staff very pleasant; good parking for 4.50euros daily, this in France is very reasonable; altogether a pleasant experience.
