We love staying here! It was our second stay. It is so charming and peaceful. The rooms are lovely, they room key is awesome, the shower is good. Breakfast is nice. It is dog friendly. The owner and his son are both very nice and nice. The owner is good at recommending restaurants in the area, we went to a nice Italian only 15 minutes drive away.

Cards were not accepted. We had to make a bank transfer to pay what we found was an excessive extra of €42 for our mistake of not adding the correct age of our two children. An excessive almost 40% extra of the booked price for two adults and two babies.

A last minute booking (literally) as we were driving homewards and playing the journey by ear. Part of a working farm, this is a comfortable, historic, family run location rather than a grand hotel. On arrival we were shown to a spotlessly clean and enormous room with a comfy modern four poster bed and large ensuite bathroom. We had everything we needed and were happy to pay the 7 Euro each additional fee to enjoy a soak in the hot tub (with towelling robes provided) as the room rate (including breakfast) was very reasonable. Our lovely host kindly advised us where we could get supper (Aldi 5 mins away by car) and permitted us to use the fridge and borrow crockery from the breakfast room to eat our picnic supper. Breakfast was varied and tasty. It was truly excellent value for money.

We stayed with our family for 5 nights at Le Chateau de Buchy. The rooms are very spacious, clean and the hotel is quiet. The owner Yannick is a really friendly host and during the delicious breakfast (with homemade jam!) everything is perfectly arranged. Most people only stay here for 1 night. That's a pity because its central location makes this hotel ideal for a multi-day holiday with day trips to Nancy, Metz and Verdun.

The people who run it were very friendly and helpful - they went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast was delicious, varied and different ! When we wanted to have a picnic in the grounds this was no problem and they were very helpful.

The room was big and very comfortable, nice and clean. The breakfast was great, a real buffet with homemade things, delicious. The place is nice, we stayed only one night for a stop during a long journey , we arrived late and it was already dark. But in Spring/ Summer or good weather days it must be very nice to enjoy the outdoor premises and the garden. Yannik is super kind.

Everything! Yannick was an excellent host. We were late getting in, but he was there waiting for us and gave us a full tour. Great breakfast full of wonderful French meats, cheeses, jams, and bread. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I felt like I was visiting an old friend in the French countryside! We are coming back...it is a nice relaxing place to get away to after a a busy day of sightseeing and shopping.

The internet was a bit sketchy, but there were 3 options so we just switched amongst the three...it may have been our old phones! Dont let this stop you from staying! We are coming back.

This is a beautiful charming place. It was so peaceful and quiet, we opened the huge windows and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. The rooms were large and a great space for my husband and I, our two teenage daughters and our two dogs. Breakfast was included and was very nice. The shower was great. The beds were comfy and so were the pillows.

Wonderful comfortable bed with snuggle down duvet, a good night's sleep guaranteed! Very clean old family chateau run by the owner/farmer M. Yannick who provided a lovely breakfast with fresh farm eggs and homemade jams.

No restaurants close by for our evening meal, so we bought salad bowls en route.
