Room was what we expected as we have stayed in the same room on previous occasions. Convenient for the car park as we are disabled so this was important. Dinner was good - waitress was able to explain main courses in English. Disabled car park has always been available. Reception staff friendly.

Bathroom door would not close properly. Lighting could be improved. An additional toilet roll would be welcome. One additional pillow was provided (for one bed); a second was needed for the second bed. Staff told us that the room is going to be redecorated / updated - this would be a real asset. Restaurant - please print all dishes in an English translation. We did not have a dessert as we couldn't understand what was being offered and our original waitress had vanished.

REally friendly staff with whom we discussed aircon for their dogs! Location extraordinary - seems to be on the edge of a university and includes a large lake, plenty of dog-walking. Good parking. Dinner basic but good, and a nice bottle of wine! Perfect for a one-night stay on the way back to UK.

Hottest day of the year and no aircon meant room was hot, but at least the shutters had been kept closed and kept out the sun.

The staff was nice, bed comfortable, WiFi fast enough for streaming a Youtube video and TV quite large- something we dearly missed at other places. The parking lot was large, easy to just park and go in. The rooms are all accessed separately, more like a motel, so it seemed like our own little place. The breakfast was nice with fresh juice, coffee, fruits, breads and meats etc. Dinner the night before: even if our dog was not allowed in the restaurant, the person at the front desk said we could order and he would deliver the food to our room. That was such nice service!

Even if this location advertised pet-friendliness (and even had "Welcome!" notes on the menu chalkboard with pets' footprints), our dog was not allowed in the restaurant area or at breakfast the next morning. A bit of a paradox, but our dog was fine staying in the room for a bit. The air was a bit stuffy/musty in our room, so we had to open the windows/doors to air it out a bit.

Loved the comfortable beds and pillows! It was quiet and in a fantastic location for going straight into nature if you are a jogger or come with a dog, miles of nature to dive into !! The breakfast was exceptional and the dinner out in the porch was also amazing for such a reasonable price ! Loved it.

There is nothing charming here, It is constructed more like a motel, no ambiance just very functional. For an overnight stay as you travel that’s fine but it’s not a place to hang out at.

We were traveling and needed a night to sleep. Reception staff was nice and when we got our key from room male member told us , that we can bring our bike in front of our booked room for safety. Room was clean and comfy. Restaurant good as well. Food was good. Overall very good for money.

When we were at restaurant we ordered a beer. Total order was 4 beers all together. One cola and food. When we got to pay, we payed for 7 beers. We realise this only when we left next day.

Breakfast and evening meal were both excellent and great value for money. The passion fruit meringue tart was exceptional. Breakfast had a wide variety and everything was fresh. All staff were helpful and friendly. Good quality bed linen. Lovely location with a lakeside walk. Easy hotel to access. Plenty of parking. Quiet.

One room of our two was too hot at night. Windows and shutters can be opened however. One bath plug had broken. (Weather was hot during our visit.)

Like all Campaniles, the beds are very comfortable and the showers are great. The restaurant has a small but varied menu and the breakfast is excellent, making it ideal for an overnight stop to break a long journey.

The rooms and exteriors are starting to look a little tired and dated - but that doesn't spoil a great nights sleep.

The property was very clean, beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. The breakfast was delicious and very good selection. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

It did not feel very safe for me. The property looks run down although we could see some renovations have been done.

A clean, simple place. Good, convenient parking for our large van. Good bus service to the town centre. Metz is beautiful. Good value for money.

Rooms quite small but it's a budget hotel and good value.

Cosy room, good hot water for shower, quiet location, easy walk to supermarket or a stroll around the water way behind the hotel. Very friendly staff. Delicious & inexpensive dinner. Plenty of car parking spaces.

Just a small concern about slippery conditions when stepping out of the shower/bath. A little hazardous for older clients.
