We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in this cute, family run hotel. The beds were super comfortable, and the sheets had the fresh smell of cleanliness. It felt so good to get under the covers. The spacious room was tastefully decorated, fitting the general cottage theme of the property. We specially liked the very good design of the bathroom, how clean everything was, and the wonderful, friendliness of the owner, Michel. We enjoyed wonderful conversations with him and loved the delicious breakfast he had prepared for us, especially the delicious cake he had baked himself. We felt very welcome.

We liked everything. Just a heads up: The hotel is located in a small village - there aren't any shops, supermarkets or bakeries near by. Buy what you need beforehand. There are two restaurants nearby, about 10 minute drive away.

Lovely ambience, felt like visiting the French grandparents in the country side :) Michel, the host, is very friendly and made us feel at home. He made a dinner reservation for us at a lovely Italian restaurant in the neighbouring village (La Tavola - great food, beautiful rustic outdoors sitting area). Beautiful old-fashioned decorated and spacious room for a family of four. Spacious bathroom with a bath tub and a very good shower. Spacious balcony with sitting area (could do with a bit of love and attention) - great to enjoy the morning sun. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a 5min drive from the motorway. Good French breakfast (baguette, jam, cheese, hard boiled eggs, tea/coffee/juice, cereals, cake). Play corner for the children (a few toys, French kids books). Free car parks in front of the bed & breakfast.

Very comfortable spacious room with patio doors that led to a balcony. Nice patio furniture that was just the job for relaxing after a day of travel. Plenty of parking at the front of the property. Breakfast was simple but delicious with crusty bread & home made preserves, cheese & cake. Coffee cups were huge which we loved. All run by a delightful friendly host.

Just a little bit out of town.

Utterly charming and generous host who provides the highest level of hospitality and goodwill. There to greet me on the doorstep when I arrived horribly late at night, laid on a delicious breakfast and did everything he could to make his guests feel at home. A lovely contrast to all those b&b hosts who perform all their duties remotely by electronic means and remain forever invisible. Michel’s hospitality is beyond compare. A joy to stay there on every score.

Very clean, comfortable rooms, VERY spacious and with pretty decor. Toiletries and towels were provided, we booked 2 rooms and triple room had a jacuzzi and very comfortable seating. Overall an extremely pleasant stay, with good breakfast. Host was extremely nice and very accommodating and welcoming. Property had a homey feel on shared areas, but with the privacy of separate en-suite rooms.

Location is quite isolated. Besides a food truck that serves Italian-style pizza, there is nothing else within walking distance, and we had to travel several miles before we could find a proper restaurant that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Our double bed in the double room was a little noisy (wooden frame with odd shelf either side of the mattress) and creaked a little when turning over, which made turning over a bit difficult without disturbing your partner’s sleep! There are no blinds inside the room, and closing the outside shutters to sleep in the dark proved a little difficult when we got back, as there’s a not-so-easy to find catch on one of the panels. Some instructions on the wall near the window would have been useful for guests not used to shutters.

Incredibly spacious and well furnished room - even a jacuzzi tub! - in lovely home. The furnishings themselves were gorgeous. Very comfortable beds. Extremely friendly and helpful host. Very quiet location with easy parking, not too far from Metz. Private patio accessible from room. Excellent value for the Metz area. Good breakfast.

Rural village location not far from motorway. Absolutely charming property and helpful host. Perfectly clean and enjoyed all the frogs. Michel breakfast beautifully presented and delicious.

Didn't find bed very comfortable but late booking . Possibly twin would have been available. Only one option for dinner locally at Spa Hotel.

Michel was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal with Michel and other guests, very little English is spoken - which was fine for us, even though we speak very little French! The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom is just outside the door, but was entirely for us. The house has an antique style which added to the charm and atmosphere. We only stayed the one night and it worked vary well for us,

The lighting in the bedroom was a little dark for reading.

Location was very peaceful so had a very restful stay. The hosts Joelle and Michel were so nice despite our little language barrier! Super accommodative and attentive and the rooms were very large! The breakfast consisted of some amazing home made cakes and jams to go with fresh baguette!! Really nice stay over and would've enjoyed another night if possible. Definitely recommend anyone having a bit of time and not in a rush!

Dinner is a bit of a problem as the closest restaurant was at another hotel but only about 2min drive away. Quirks of the small village.

Very quiet, peaceful location. Large rooms, beautiful country furniture, Tiffany lamps. Friendly host, good breakfast. Only thing to watch is the free-flow highway, which means no barriers on exit/entry to pay the small motorway toll. You can pay on the side kiosk or online.
