There was a 10 minute walk from the train station. The check in desk is also the lounge hotel bar! The clerk, Anthony, was so friendly. I decided to one back down for a cocktail. Each person that worked at the hotel was very welcoming and friendly. The bartender in the second night made a delicious expression martini and also helped me understand about the mirabelle liquor and eau de vie ( you can purchase a bottle there). Though the room was small it did have a comfortable queen-sized bed that has been unusual for any European bedrooms where I have stayed. There is also a restaurant onsite.

As with many European cities that I have visited this summer, there was construction going on near the site. It is noisy. But there is very little other street noise and the nights are quiet.

Everything worked very well. My special need concerning breakfast were met, and I was served something extra to complete my meal. My room was comfortable and big enough, and except for the construction noise outside (cannot blame the hotel for that) it was also quiet. I liked the way you hang your clothes in the room, and that there are enough hooks. I want to thank he staff for respecting my wish to use my inadequate French in order to get some exercise there. Electric kettle in the room was very nice. Local wine in the bar was very good.

No complaints, would visit again!

The hotel has a closed parking area which is nice. The hotel room itself was super comfy, good bed/pillows and a nice bathroom. Room was a bit small but that wasn't too bad. We didn't book breakfast but I asked and it was no problem. Very nice guy helping us! Breakfast was okayish, we came 1h before it closed so that's perhaps why they didn't refill that much.

The staff wasn't friendly on the eveing when we arrived. I reserved a parking spot beforehand and in the message the hotel sent me clearly mentioned I needed to call them when we were in front of the parking entry to get the code. I called them and they said I should have come to the hotel to ask for the code. Also when I wanted to check in the guy was pretty cold and stiff.

Location was excellent. Just couple blocks to Place St Louis - plenty of outside cafe / dining choices there. Walk about 4 more blocks (all shopping ) to Place St Jacques - more places to eat and drink. Just about 600 meters from train station - so walkable with small luggage Breakfast was great. eggs, juice, fruit, bread. Never crowded

We were there during heat wave (95 F, 35 C) and the AC struggled to keep up. We talked with other people in other hotels - same issue.

I think the staff who work at the front desk just might be the nicest people I've ever come across in any hotel. On arrival, we had a roof bag on our car which left us too high for the underground parking- the man very kindly offered to hold it in a spare meeting room. On check out, another man leapt over when he saw me struggling to carry the end of it with my husband and helped us put it back on the car. So kind, without even being asked. Rooms were lovely - simple and comfy with air con that was a relief after a week camping. Metz was beautiful, I wish we could have stayed longer, but huge thanks to the wonderful staff, you are awesome.

Small but well agenced bedroom. Very clean premise, pro staff (except sometimes when they got a bit too friendly or talked about issues at work in front of clients), great location, few minutes from train station but also few steps from city center. And oh la la, the mattress and pillows were some of the most comfortable I ever had in a hotel!

Room for breakfast is too small, not enough room to move around buffet because of tables everywhere. Breakfast buffet options are good but not huge. It's OK but they are offering for example smoked sausages, but not ketchup or mustard to go with it (though when I asked for, they got some for me from the kitchen with no problem), there are cold cuts but no raw vegetables at all (a few cucumbers and tomatoes would have done the job). It's no big deal, as I was still very satisfied with my stay.

The hotel was nice and staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the parking was excellent too. The location was good for us as we like to walk so being at one end of the city and walking through was good for us. Overall metz surprised us, we didn't think it would have much to offer other than being a city usually is. Lots to do by the river and down by the park and lake area. As well as the city it self with lots of restaurants, bars etc, and historical architecture.

Only having one night, shud have stayed longer.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but clean and silent. The breakfast was rich and included some vegan options (oat/soy milk). Secure bicycle parking was available in the hotel's underground parking lot.

The bathroom in our room was very small and could be difficult to use for older/larger people. We also found it weird that no toilet brush was available - on request the receptionist explained that a toilet brush is not available in any of the Kyriad hotels.

The hotel is well located in the centre of Metz. It is part of the Kyriad chain so it's a typical mid range hotel. There is a nice bar area which doubles up as a reception. We had 2 double rooms which were clean and functional. The buffet style breakfast had a reasonable choice of croissants, fruit, bread, cheese, meat etc. and was regularly replenished. It was busy and finding a table a bit tricky. On the whole the staff were friendly. We prebooked the hotel car park which is well located and secure under the hotel.

Although we had pre-booked the car park the guy on check-in initially said there was no space. I had to push the point and after showing him the confirmation the hotel had sent was suddenly able to find a space (there were plenty of spaces when we parked). I didn't appreciate the unhelpful attitude. In fairness we were able to leave the car in car park the next day to explore Metz. The rooms and beds are small.

We chose this hotel for the location in the centre of town and because it had parking which we could book. You could walk easily to anywhere in the city centre. After reading the comments about the underground car park we decided not to use it as our car is longer than the average car and there is an over ground car park just around the corner from the hotel which was a bonus. Parking was about 20 Euros for 24 hours. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. We had a triple room as it was all that we could book, so this meant it might have been larger than other rooms (the extra bed was a sofa bed). We liked the fact you could help yourself to tea, coffee and milk to make a drink in your room. This feels like a standard 3 star hotel and was a good price for the location in the city centre.

If I had to pick something I would comment that the bathroom was really small but this is just so people aren't disappointed. There was nothing wrong with it and it did have a window that opened which is rare in city hotels.
