The pool in the middle of the centre! The parking garage was fun! We did not realise we had to park the car on the designated hotel parking level so finding the car back was fun! (not being sarcastic, I really laughed as I just could not find my way out). The lift from the hotel brings you to the correct level but our car was not on it so spent ten minutes finding the car back in the labyrinth of the parking... And then finding the correct pedestrian exit was also a challenge i.e. impossible ;-)

Hotel is kind of outdated but price matches the quality pretty well so not much too complain. It was clean. I recommend staying there if you're not looking for fancy schmancy

The hotel room was so spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing - loads of choice of food including breads, cakes, pastries, fruit, granola and cereals, some hot food (boiled & scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon), and a range of gluten free options! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area - the hotel was right in the town centre close to the cathedral, the Germans Gate and a lovely square filled with bars and restaurants.

The location! Excellent in the center. Once you park your car you are in walking distance from everywhere. You don't need it until you check out. Also the kids play area is great. The kids older and younger had a great time. The breakfast is a so good

The carpets in the rooms and the diffuser smell in the hallways. It's extremely strong!!

Everyone was very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and functional. Excellent location. Right in the heart of the city. Only minor criticism is that it could be made clearer where to park as dedicated parking ramp to hotel is closed, and once in main shopping centre car park there is only a very small sign to show where hotel parking is. Other than that, great experience.

Large comfortable room for family of 4. Sparkling water machine on each floor with a refillable glass bottle, I love soda stream. Nice food for dinner. Comprehensive breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Parking underneath in public car pack, tons of space. Lift up to hotel. Kids loved the swimming pool and games area in the lobby.

Single Lift was busy, so we used the stairs.

My recent stay at Novotel in Metz was nothing short of exceptional. Firstly, the location couldn't have been more perfect, providing easy access to all the city's attractions and amenities. The friendly and welcoming staff added to the overall positive experience. The room itself was a haven of comfort and cleanliness. One standout feature was the convenience of parking with direct access to the building. Overall, I highly recommend Novotel in Metz to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay in the city.

Nothing, it was perfect

Room was beautiful and very large. Entrance area with hanging space and toilet had a door, meaning you could close this and have two doors between the sleeping area and the hotel corridor. Bathroom beautifully renovated with Rituals toiletries, which are my favourite. Wi-Fi was very good. Lovely to finish the evening with a drink by the pool. The pool was heated with plenty of seating and some loungers. Very close to the town centre. Easy access to many bars, shops and restaurants. We had read reviews saying the corridors were grey concrete but it seems renovations were taking place. Floor 1 was still grey and under renovation, but floor 2, which we were on, had been recarpetged and painted. Glass bottles were available in each room and in the corridor were water coolers which meant you could refill your glass bottle at any time with filtered water, meaning no plastic water bottles. A simple but great addition. Breakfast had a huge choice and was very fresh and delicious. We also ate this by the pool, although the restaurant was large. I would definitely stay here again.

Access to the city centre was via a shopping centre directly outside the hotel entrance. Later in the evening, this shopping centre was closed, meaning that you had to take a longer walk down some narrow streets to get back. Staff were keen to close the bar on time and would wipe the tables around you, leaving you feeling quite rushed.

The check-in was easy and the hotel's facilities were explained in detail by the staff at reception. Excellent location in the middle of the city, an easy walk to everything you may want to see. many good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Pre-reserved parking under the hotel make it easy to come into the city center.

Only items to think of was the small and uncomfortable pillows.

Everything was comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of room for 2 people. Close and handy to walk the main town, not to far from public transport and train station. Supermarket in the complex was also very good. We stayed 2night and was happy with everything one of the better outdoor pools.

No complaints

The hotel has a perfect location in Metz centre. They offer some nice activitie such as outdoor pool, small gym and table soccer. Nice restaurant and beautiful bar with a huge variety. The rooms are large and comfortable. The total impression from outside (view on building) is somewhat old. But inside this hotel is really nice and comfortable. I stayed here already 5 times and will always come back if do business or a private stayover in Metz. Absolutely recommended!

Everything was fine, icluding the friendly staff at the front desk and in the restaurant.
