Our room overlooked the street in front of the hotel, including some interesting, majestic buildings. We managed to park for one hour for free on a parking meter about a ten-minute walk away. Once we had checked in, we moved the car to one of the car parks that Le Mondon has an arrangement with for a 50% discount (remember to ask for your voucher when you check out!). Le Mondon is close to the old town, so an easy walk. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and functional. The breakfast was included and very good.

Nothing really, I thought it was very good value for the price.

At first look, I was a bit worried as the entrance to the hotel was between a pizza shop and a commercial premises. But I didn't need to worry. We had room 102, that had a view over the roundabout and fountain and has double aspect windows. The room had A/C that worked very well and the room was clean with an ensuite, excellent shower that had plenty of hot water. The room was small but great for our needs.The windows are double glazed so sound from the roundabout is not intrusive at all. Breakfast that was included was excellent with a full choice of food.

The room was a little small and the headboard needed a clean, but that's being picky to be honest.

I liked just about everything!! The location was awesome; easy walk from the train station and to all the Christmas markets and sights. The employees were VERY friendly and helpful! Got some great advice on using the train to Luxembourg! I had asked for a room not facing the street and they made it happen! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable! Slept like a baby! The breakfast was very nice also! As always, love the coffee machines in Europe! :) Highly recommend the Hôtel Le Mondon Metz!!

Amazing value when considering the wonderful full breakfast (that would rival any fancy hotel) that’s included free of charge, the clean rooms, and the location minutes from the train station. Our room was quiet despite the hotel being located on a busy roundabout. I liked the high ceilings and the third bed (a cot) was comfortable for my child.

The property is dated but it didn’t bother us it was clean. New carpet and a scrubbing of the mildew that’s really high up on the shower walls would go a long way.

The breakfast spread was incredible! The staff was so friendly and kind (even after my child accidentally locked our key in our room). The location was spectacular, offering beautiful views of the fountain plaza in the center. A/C was excellent in August and they allowed our dog to stay with us which was very convenient.

There was no designated parking reserved for hotel guests. We ended up finding a spot on the street but it took quite a long time for one to become available. The rooms were well decorated and cleaned but very small; I suppose this added to the historic charm of the building.

Great hotel with great location, friendly stuff and tasty breakfasts for pretty decent price. The room itself was well equipped, as well as the bathroom, and - additionally - pot, and coffee and tea. One may found it not that chic. But for me the stay was perfect - air conditioning, silence: although I had room close to reception, I heard nothing, big bath to soak after the long walk and great breakfast to start a new day with.

We were so impressed with our stay at Hotel Le Mond in Metz. The proprietors have thought of everything for guest comfort. We really appreciated having a kettle, tea/ coffee, a reading bedside lamp, the fountain view, air conditioning, delicious breakfast included (even alternative milks are provided!), location in the heart of the old quarter and such great value for money. 10/10 from us.

Lots more space than we expected in our room which was lovely. Great shower, lots of towels. Location was easy to find and get to from bus station. Easy walk into the main part of town, only 10-15 mins to cathedral for reference. Really good breakfast even for gluten free people though recommend going earlier to get a table, it was busy! Stored our luggage before check in which was super handy.

--The young man at the desk was very pleasant, but unfortunately he didn't know what he was doing and there was a relatively long wait for the key. I think he may have been new, but the hotel management should not have left him alone in that case. --The room was good, though the view described on the site was clearly not the one we had, which was really nothing special.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from the train station. The staff is very nice and helpful. And the breakfast buffet is perfect. Very local flavor to a tourist.

The bathroom is bit small. Did not know I need to ring the bell to get into the building but luckily another guest came out at the moment and told me about that.
