The accommodation is very Nice! The available space is not new, but very neat. The kitchen is small, but very adequate. The bathroom offers all the necessities and is neat and clean. The rooms kept professionally clean. The room is sufficient for two people, maximum four (but tide). The beach is very close (two beach clubs!). Please note that if you do not like pebble beaches, you will have to go a bit further. Then a car is convenient. There is a sandy beach close to the town Antibes (very nice!) The location of 'Motel Ascot' is very favorable. Nice is very close. The roads are busy during the summer. In the cozy harbour of Cagnes-sur-Mer you can enjoy various restaurants and possible entertainment venues. If you want to do more around you, Nice is an absolute must. Cannes is also within reach. The nice thing about the motel is that it is quiet in the evening and the site can only be reached by means of an access code so that you are in a save environment. There is also private parking on the site. The reception is very friendly and helpfull. Best regards, Martijn.

The WIFI connexion is really well inside the accommodation and on the balcony. More outside is no connexion and internet in Cagnes-sur-Mer / Nice is not optimal. I tried to connect a Chrome-cast to my TV but because of the code connexion it's not possible to make it work.

This was a perfect place for my 8-day stay in July 2024: a view of the ocean, a small balcony, a kitchenette with all you may need and free parking, All beaches, shops and restaurants nearby, and only a few kilometers from the airport. But perhaps the greatest asset was the very friendly staff of the motel,, particularly Virginie who helped me to navigate trips to the last 3 stages of the Tour de France as well as two Olympic footbal matches (in Marseilles and Nice). Thank you very, very much!

Our vacation was fantastic! The location was perfect, right by the sea, and we could walk to Nice. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed (cutlery, pots, plates, cups, glasses). There were plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, including a Carrefour. The bathroom, though small, was nice and clean and had a window. There were plenty of towels. The bedroom and living room were cozy, with a round table, three chairs, a comfortable bed, and a couch that could be turned into a bed. There was also a large wardrobe. The balcony had a beautiful view, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The motel is in a great location, perfect for exploring the area. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Overall, a very good experience and great value for money in a nice setting.

The location of the hotel is great. It is very pleasant to have breakfast with the sea view. The hotel was clean. There was no breakfast. But there are nice bakeries and restaurants nearby. Things like glasses, plates, forks, and pans are available in the room. There is no hairdryer. The beaches within walking distance of the hotel are generally pebbly. You should take a car to sandy beaches. The street where the hotel is located is very fun on summer evenings. Great for walking and cycling.

When we checked in at the hotel we could have been given a brochure in English with general rules and instructions.

Lovely view, decent sized balcony with sun umbrella and a good sized room with table, chairs & separate kitchen & bathroom. Great picture of promenade sculpture on wardrobe door. Friendly receptionist. The grounds are nice, parking is convenient and secured by gates operated by code after 9.00pm. Loved being on the top floor with sun all afternoon and evening. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable & the position on the front exceptional.

Motel looks ready for a refurbishment and, given the newly fitted gates, drive and big wooden logo, it could be imminent. If not, there is a general air of dilapidation around the rooms themselves: kitchen elderly & overpainted a few times, knob missing off the wardrobe, vinyl surface coming off bathroom cupboards, kitchen clean but a bit grim, floor well used etc. Checking in would have been impossible without a working mobile phone as receptionist had to be contacted via a number on the reception door.

No elevator so you have to carry everything by ladders :) a bit old furniture and bad smell from the toilet

Location with sea view was good. self catering facilities, great. There was even a little line with clothes pegs on the balcony. 15 min walk to train station, easy access to Nice and other towns. Restaurants and supermarket nearby.

Wifi was unstable going in and out. I lost money in my business. Could not complete transactions .

We booked last minute for one night. I wouldn’t say it was anything luxurious, but it was well priced, was clean and was well priced. It was a good value
