This hotel had everything we were looking for: it was clean, had no bugs, no disrespectful neighbours, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Yes, it was a little run down but it had absolutely everything we needed for a quick cheap stay on the road. Highly recommended for people on a budget 😁

Nothing, although we decided not to have breakfast there because it looked a little boring and there is a 5-star bakery in a small village 2 miles away

This is always a reliable stay for me. The beds are always spotless as are the towels. It's basic, convenient for the port and the staff are an absolute dream. Don't book if you're expecting the Hilton. It's about £15 a head per night. Near the lake, I would have expected mosquitos etc. Nothing! Really good value for money for an overnight stop.

Nothing really, it's old, dared and could do with an upgrade, but it's priced accordingly. No complaints from me.

At least my 6th stay here. Location perfect - walk round the lake early evening sets me up to sleep well. Always found it quiet after 11pm Comfortable, clean beds. Good shower Ground floor for the 1st time. Room wasn't as clean as the upper floors I've stayed in, but maybe because it was windy and bits blowing through the door when open? Always room to park too. Will definitely book again.

Room could have been a bit cleaner, but beds and bathroom spotless.

Although the property looks shabby from outside, it was super clean and comfortable. If you want an affordable place to stay, with a decent shower and comfortable bed (OK, a bit cramped but who needs space when your main worry is to have a good sleep) then this is just the place.

Badic,, cheap, clean rooms for an overnight stay. Hot water and easy access for me and my dogs. It's opposite a large country park .I think the walk around the lake is possibly 5km? Super quiet location for a good night's sleep. About 20 minutes from the ferry port. Really helpful staff. Secure overnight parking. 2nd time I've stayed and would book again.

Not really a fault for the price I paid, but I do always take a small travel kettle for a cuppa as none in the rooms.

Morning coffee so cheap and wonderful. Hot chocs for kids. We are coeliac so couldn't have the breakfast so they only charged for drinks and allowed us to bring our own food in Beds ultra comfy and surprised king size on bottom bunk.

Toilet had some cosmetic damage We were fascinated by the rats in car park but others may not like. They were coming from the nearby lake so beautiful to walk round after a long day of travelling

Staff friendly, room tidy, clean and bed comfortable. Location 15 mins from ferry terminal, quiet, secure location, ample parking.

As with a lot of budget hotels, the duvet is very thin. I always end up using the duvet off a 2nd bed if it's available.

Good value for the money 💰 🤑 It's cheep and if you only want somewhere to lay your head for the night It's perfect would use it again no problem if you want the hilton It's not for you but it's fine for someone just passing through It's perfect enjoy 😊

It was clean and the free breakfast was a lovely surprise. Quiet location too.

The receptionist was a bit grumpy when we arrived, but other than this we loved our stay.

At least the 3rd time I've stayed here which speaks for itself. Convenient for the car ferry. Absolutely fine for an overnight stop.
