We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Although we were informed in advance about a possible staff shortage during our visit, we didn’t notice any inconvenience at all. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The room was clearly a bit dated, but very clean, with a spacious bathroom and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was well thought out and delicious. Overall, everything was great and we were very satisfied with our stay!

We were 2 cycle tourists starting our adventure from Dunkirk , it was a nice 190 min cycle from ferry port to hotel. The hotel is good value for one night stay, we could store our bikes in basement securely which was good, room was fine, dated but clean. Hotel is in lovely area right in centre with everything in walking distance, good restaurants, marina and beach. I would recommend this hotel

The room was spacious and clean and the view was delightful.The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. Parking was safe and easy to access. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful Cannot fault them at all.10 out of 10. Continental breakfast was fresh and plenty to set you up for the day. The location could not be more central. close to the sea front, restaurants, bistros cafés and the main shopping centre. Yet the location was quite. We will be staying in the hotel again,most definitely.

Could not fault the hotel or the staff. It's a shame there is no bar or restaurant.

The man on reception with blonde hair was lovely and helped me with my French. The bed was very comfy. The shower was strong and hot. The room was very clean. The location was good. Parking was good.

There was not kettle or tea and coffee facilities. However we were close to the big supermarket so we brought a cheap kettle and that was fine.

The hotel is a plain building lacking decorative features and the bedroom had older fittings and furniture which gave it a quirky feel. Others might think it unloved, but like that it's different from chain hotels.There was good on-street parking for free, and it was a short walk to restaurants and shops.

Breakfast was disappointing - we weren't on the list, the food scattered on different tables across the large room, and felt like there wasn't enough food, with a small platter on each table, milk not next to the cereals etc. and not much choice. When we checked in the manager chastised the receptionist for serving us when other customers had a problem. In all it seemed badly organised.

Ideal central location with plenty of free parking behind the hotel. We paid for a room with view over the harbour looking out to sea, room 302. Worth the extra charge. Nice design, reflecting a ship's cabin and it had two chairs. Buffet breakfast provided as much to eat and drink as you wanted. Nice cheeses and fresh bread. Self service egg boiler was a nice touch.

While having a large area of windows on two sides of our room afforded really good views, there was only one opening window, so the inside temperature was, at times, uncomfortably hot. Considering we were in France, the quality of the croissants and pastries was disappointing.

We liked the fact that we were able to book at very short notice. Both nights. Also, we were delighted that we could choose our checking in time anywhere between 4-11pm. So helpful. The staff understood our situation and made us feel very welcome.

The bed was really uncomfortable. It's too hard and too old. There was no shower gel on the first night.

The room is big enough with excellent bathroom. The staff are very nice and helpful especially the Hotel Manager, she was absolutely brilliant manager

The WIFI is weak and not good signal, there is no reception between 12 to 16 pm because there was shot of staff, the check in at 16:00 pm is too hard

The location was excellent, very close to the centre of town. The room was clean and comfortable and had a nice view. The parking was also very good and the staff were very helpful

We would have liked a kettle in the room and the wardrobe was very close to one side of the bed which was a bit awkward - and rather odd as the room was fairly large. When we tried opening the window a seagull perched on the ledge below and tried to get in so we had to keep it almost closed!

Good location, nice staff, clean room , facilities and nice and variety breakfast with good coffee and fresh cheese :)

This day way really hot outside and in the room there is any ventilator, so we had to sleep with open window and that was uncomfortable cause was noisy outside and cars and loud birds disturb all night :( I woke up tired.
