2 adjoining rooms were the perfect solution for our family (2 adults, 2 children) Easy street parking Kitchen well equipped with utensils, pots, bottle openers, trash bags, organic waste bin, dish cleaning supplies, good size refrigerator Good breakfast with wide selection (scrambled eggs and even DIY boiled egg machine, bacon, waffles, several types of bread including gluten free, croissants/viennoiserie, cereals, dry chia, muesli, nuts, wide selections of spreads (honey, Nutella, jams), cold cuts, cheeses, multiple yogurt options, dairy and vegan milk, DIY fresh squeezed orange juice machine, apple juice, fruits, organic teas, coffees, this already lengthy description is probably missing what was available!). Nice options to use Playstation5, Foosball and board games. Menu prices for bar were very reasonable. Nice outdoor seating area
Sink in one bathroom needs some attention (slow drain). No air conditioning from what we could tell, but it wasn't needed at all during the stay in late July. Open the windows to let in the strong, cool sea breeze. We could leave the windows open at night for a nice breeze (even after lowering the exterior darkening shutters). Fan was also available in the room

It was in the perfect location for visiting the tall ships. We had a room overlooking all the ships and it was a family room which had plenty of space for us all.
After check out we realised we had left a precious children’s teddy bear in the room. We went to reception to ask if we could check. They said no but called a cleaner to check. We said where the bear was and they said they checked but no, it wasn’t there and there was nothing more they could do. We then went along to the building and spoke to the cleaner working there, she had not checked the room but allowed us to go and look - we got the bear! Delighted the cleaner was so helpful and understanding…. Very disappointed that the reception staff was the complete opposite and whoever they spoke to on the phone, did not check the room.

The room was very clean and confortable, the bathroom big (although I had trouble setting up the right temperature for the shower on the last day). The location is perfect as you are so close to the town-centre. There are 2 big free car parks next to the hotel where we had no trouble finding spaces or leaving the car safely. Free buses in Dunkirk was a great perk, there is a bus stop next to the hotel.
Lack of utensils in the room. No mugs at all, limited number of cutlery, only one saucepan. No manual for the microwave. No brush in the room, although the staff told us that we wouldn't have to clean the floor.

I was just here for a one night stopover, so didn’t need anything fancy, but this exceeded expectations. Very decently priced and spotless. Staff were really helpful. Generously sized room with a lovely view of the harbour area. Great craft beer bar two doors down. Bonus!
I couldn’t work out if it was student accommodation or a hotel and seemed to be a bit of both. However, it perfectly served my purposes. Waele, it was impeccably clean and had everything I needed. It was a bit clinical with very hard floors etc, but for one night…

The room was spacious and very clean. It was in a good location. There were also good self catering facilities.
We wished there had been a kettle or coffee maker in the room. Also, the cups are very small, a larger size would be better appreciated. Finally, my husband said he read that we had to wash the dishes before we left the room. It does seem pointless to clean the dishes with the cleaning pack when the cleaning staff are going to replace them with clean ones when they prepare the rooms. I can understand cleaning the surfaces and making sure everything is clean and tidy, which we are very conscious to do before we leave any hotel room, but I think rinsing the dishes should be enough. Apart from these minor things, we had a great stay!

breakfast was good, and the room.
we were travelling by motorcycle, we asked could we park on the concrete area at the front for, 1. security reason & 2. logistics of getting your gear off the bike. they would have been out of the way and not a problem. You don't travel with one bag/suit case on a bike.. you have all your gear, helmet, cumbersome boots and heavy clothing, which is designed to crash in not to trek from one hotel building to another with bags and gear, especially after riding over 350 miles and a ferry crossing. in all my travels by MC this is the first time i came a cross an anal retentive manager. for this i would not stay again

The apartment was in a good location, it was clean and had all the facilities needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was located in a quiet area of Dunkirk. Kitchen appliances, toiletries, fresh towels and warm welcome at the reception.
The apartment is situated in a different building than the reception. You have to look for parking on the street. We arrived on a Friday evening and had do drive up and down the road couple of times before we could find a parking space.

The rooms are well located at walking distance from the center and with many restaurants and bars close by. Room was spacious and clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of products to choose from, although can get quite busy at times. A big plus for the underground parking.
The breakfast zone was not in the same building so you need to go outside in order to reach it, not a big deal overall but a bit uncomfortable in case of bad weather.

It is a good value option for an overnight stay with two teenage children and spouse. Each of the connecting rooms got its own bathroom and open kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. Good enough for an in-room breakfast. Nice view from room.
The fridge was slightly noisy for light sleeper. A cup was quite dirty - it was not cleaned properly by earlier guests as you are expected to wash up before checking out. Pillow but small.

The studio flat had a small kitchenette with hot ring, some pots and pans and a fridge, that was useful for us. The room was spacious and the location next to the quayside was quiet. Dog friendly with no additional charge. We paid extra for the underground car park and that was handy because we knew that it would be secure and as the weather was pretty awful, we were able to load up the car in the dry. There is also the handily placed "Kilimanjaro" pub/bistro just up the road which we really enjoyed. We didn't eat in the aparthotel but I had a beer from the bar and it was good enough.
The shower was over a bath, I prefer a walk in shower as it is safer for oldies like us. The towel rail was also strategically placed to bang my head coming out of the shower. It felt as if the shower rail was about to detach, but it stayed on for the two nights of our stay. Decor was a bit dated and tired looking in our room and on our floor but then we were in the dog friendly section so no grumbles about that. The reception staff were a bit on the brusque side and instructions for access etc were not well communicated but we got it all sorted out.
