Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely big clean swimming pool, good space for children to play (nice quality astroturf football pitch, bouncy castle, etc.). Room was fine - clean and big enough for 4 people plus dog to sleep comfortably. Great shower.

Mosquitos everywhere on the site so not relaxing to sit outside - not the hostel's fault but worth people knowing before booking. Bar/catering wasn't open which was a surprise and a shame as they have a nice space set up for it, but presumably not enough guests to justify it. There was a bar nearby which was hosting parties/club nights until 4-5am in the morning with pretty loud music so not great for light sleepers. Charge for towels and bedding was also quite expensive at 7Euro per item (although stated in advance so it's fair enough).

Modest place with lots of charm, super kind and helpful stuff and lots of things to do. Highly recommended. Get the owner to tell you about the vineyard visit!

Great location

Hosts were so helpful and friendly, made us feel really welcome. Location is beautiful, very tranquil, pool is lovely and there is a gorgeous outdoor area where you can eat and drink your own food. Although there is a club very close by we managed to sleep just fine, earplugs were supplied by the owners and it only lasted a few nights over the weekend. Lovely outdoor seating area on decking.

The chalets are a bit run down inside and no washing up facilities provided. Bedding and towels bit pricey at 14EUR per person additionally and we only stayed 3 days so for 2 adults and 2 kids it was a bit steep for a pillow each 2 sheets and a towel, would probably have preferred to have it included in the overall price, not sure who is taking their own bedding on holiday.

Everything else, the location is less than inspiring - it's off the road beside a big L'Eclerc. It's beside a nightclub that kept us up all night )though I know this is not the fault of the owners). There was no air conditioning (38 degrees+ in Aug) and the 'bungalow' was in need of an upgrade. We arrived in the middle of August and there was no one around at all - granted it was the hottest part of the day but then we were told that the bar was closed (was the season over already?) and there's no coffee or shop or anything on offer on site. I wouldn't have minded so much if the price was lower.

The accommodation is 7 minutes drive from Carcassonne. There is a pool. There is parking.

There is a club located near the accommodation that is open until at least 4 am. We couldn't sleep all night. The owner indicated they are trying to do something about it and there is a mention about the club near the accommodation but we couldn't imagine it would be that bad. It was like the club was literally next to our accommodation outside. There is a kitchen and you should clean your dishes but no dish soap/sponge/dish towel is available. No hand soap in the toilet Upon arrival, only 1 roll of toilet paper for a group of 4, had to ask for more. Beds are ok but not very comfortable. They can provide you with a pillow but you have to pay for anything else. The pool itself was nice but the pool area is let down. The chairs are quite dirty. I was told it's because it's a "chalet" and that's why you need to bring everything, but this wasn't clear to me before I booked in the description of the accommodation.

No air conditioning. Nothing like the pictures. Dirty . Like a wooden hut in the middle of a jungle . Rusty radiator’s. Unsafe electrics . No lock on doors.we were travelling with children and there was no way of making the shack secure as there was only a padlock and in the event of a fire we would not have had time to unlock this .
