Location was good for old city and city centre visit by foot. Style and design of the hotel modern and appealing. Breakfast was simple but nice. The open bar concept based on guest honesty to pay what they consumed gives a good trust based feeling by the owner.

My balcony door which led to the common patio was broken and could not be locked. I mentioned it to the owner and he told me that this was just happening and will be repaired. From the looks of it however it appeared to me that it had been broken for a while. Whilst nice design the quality of renovation was mediocre which leads to a limited noise isolation from the neighbouring room.

We liked the superb location and the view from our window. Everything was ready, the room was air conditioned and clean. The decor is boutique unique and beautiful. The common areas are tidy and clean. The staff in the morning were happy to see us and checked all was good. The access to the castle was perfect and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby to buy picnic lunches to eat in the park. Breakfast was good - a range of sweet continental options with coffee machine coffee. The information booklet is in different languages and helpful although the section on what to do in a flood was interesting given the property is on a hill. All very thoughtful and comfortable.

Check in lacks in the personal touch but is still professional. The arrival process felt like something from a James Bind film - grey doors, codes, secret keys and a phone call to find out which key was yours. Perhaps normal these days? On a practical note: some ideas to develop… the shower tiled floor is very slippery and the toilet door wouldn’t close. The bathroom lights are on a sensor and come on automatically, even in the middle of the night. Also perhaps some black/breakfast teas - I just can’t do grapefruit or mint tea. Would be good to have the TV linked to the internet but no real matter as Carcasson is there on the doorstep. These things are minor and do not take away from a great stay.

Is cosy, private and has a view to the walls from the terrace. The room was beautiful and the breakfast area too. Very well deocrated. The small swimming pool was refreshing for a really hot day and I laid in the terrace to read and have a drink- it was perfect. Read the instructions to get in if you will park next to the hotel, because we didnt and got lost. Our fault. The staff was always kind and helped us :).

This is very small, but I did not like the sensor light in the bethroom because it meant that it would wake up my husband. Also could be nice to have access to ice.

Super clean, stylish and well-equipped rooms and kitchen. Shower and bed are really really comfortable. Breakfast was prepared well. Location is just around the citadel. There are several options for parking and they are proper parking places. Staff is friendly. I would love to come back and recommend to other people.

A few suggested improvements - there is only a small trash bin in the bathroom and no trash bin in the toilet. It’s not really convenient for ladies’ menstrual period. - In the shared kitchen, some bread in a box is moldy. I informed the staff and she immediately handled that. - Would be nice to inform guests that we can ask questions via messages. We arrived in the evening, and didn’t know who/how to contact at the beginning.

The breakfast suited me fine.Everything was laid out fresh every morning. It's a very cosy property and did'nt seem too busy. I definitely look forward to returning.

The only small thing was that the bedroom door handlles are squeaky.....It did'nt bother me but it disturbed another guest when i was accessing my room. Maybe 1 or 2 English speaking tv chanels would have been nice....But it's not a big deal.

The room was really comfortable and clean. There wasn’t very much hanging space. Breakfast very good. Plunge pool we didn’t use but looked inviting.

We saw no one. In the morning we needed to lay out city tax but also wanted to ask if we could leave our bags there and there was literally no one to ask. We balked the number and got no reply so that wasn’t great service.

Loved the location, ambience, clean facilities, the pool, the welcome champagne and especially Lourdes, our beautiful breakfast housemaid.

It would have been an added bonus to have a host present on arrival as this creates warmth & someone to assist with enquirers. But this did eventuate the next morning when Lourdes assisted with breakfast & was so welcoming & helpful.

Adjacent to the main trail to the castle and close to restaurants. Small plunge pool with outdoor seating. Parked our bikes in the relax area as no access provided to a more secure area. Breakfast was okay. Room good, shower good.

Lighting in room a bit dull, and access to property was remote keypad so no onsite hosting. Not a big issue but would be nice.

Pretty much everything. So clean, modern, very comfortable bed - had a great sleep. Perfect location. Amazing value for money.

Just the fact that it’s a bit confusing - a bit of a quest to find stuff around the kitchen. I know they serve breakfast, but because I was leaving early, it was a bit limited. Some pastries could be great, given very poor airport options. Couldn’t find a fridge - is there one? Would be a great addition.

Clean, located in a very white street. Stuff very friendly and helpful. Loved everything about this place. I’m effect location - 5 min to the castle and 10-15 min walk to the main city. About 20 min walk to train station. Breakfast was very lovely, not much choice but enough to start the day. Coffee, toast with jam, croissants, cereal, fruits.

Was a bit noisy during breakfast but then I asked the stuff to close the Fodor leading to breakfast room and issue was solved.
