The high location gave superb views of the town, beach and sea. The upgraded room was well decorated with hand painted murals of the town’s architecture. The bed was comfortable and the balcony gave even better views.

The breakfast was absolutely not value for money with the offerings very restricted. Parking is limited so to avoid having to park away from the hotel you need to arrive before 11am. Due to its wonderfully elevated position, the walk into town is down (and up) some very steep steps, approximately 70, which are not uniform and can be a challenge.

The view from the Oceanside Balcony rooms is perhaps the greatest I have ever had at a hotel. Sleeping with the doors open to the sound of the ocean, just perfect

No lift so be careful bringing heavy cases. The car park is a challenge but perfect if you get a space, reversing in is not for the faint of heart

Loved our room which had a small balcony looking out towards St Jean de Luz. Stunning view! Enjoyed breakfast altho it was very expensive. Loved being so close to both St Jean de Luz and Socoa. We managed the tricky stone stairs that provide a short cut in spite of our advanced age, a dodgy hip and lack of physical fitness !!!! Both towns are lovely and we found several restaurants that served excellent food within easy walking distance. Lots of great places to walk to if you're so inclined.

The car park is awful !!! Our only advice is, if you get a space, park up and go everywhere on foot!! Also, reverse in so that you can drive out !!! I was disappointed that, having paid 15€ for my breakfast, the only decaff coffee on offer was instant and not very nice.

Very quiet inside and outside. Very close to St Jean de Luz (15 minutes by foot). Good views of beach/marina & St Jean

Tea/coffee facility could be better. No hot water at the wash hand basin and slow to arrive in the shower. Didn't take breakfast as very expensive compared to other hotels.

Very nice stay outside of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, only a short walk away. The room was cosy and the area very quiet. The view from the room and the hotel overall is spectacular as you can enjoy the sea & beach and the city behind, with a stunning panorama of the mountains in the background.

Was as it looks in the pictures. We had a balcony room, east facing so we were able to sit and watch the sunrise during our stay. Was very peaceful on the balcony, not much road noise at all and were able to only really hear the waves rolling in. A two minute walk down the steps to the harbour, they were steep but there was ample parking if you wanted to drive down instead. Staff very friendly and the room was spot on. Plenty of space for a couple and the shower was spot on. We didn't have breakfast although the eating area looked beautiful ( we did find a lovely patisserie a 5 minute walk from the hotel though if you wanted an alternative choice)

Nothing it was all lovely, clean and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The room was too small, uncomfortable hard plastic chairs, very small wobbly table, nowhere to put stuff, car park was very small and narrow, very difficult to drive in and reverse out, and potentially the car park has insufficient spaces for the number of rooms with nowhere nearby to park.

Great location with superb views. Friendly welcome as ever from the staff. Our second visit with many more to come.

Quite steep steps up to the property if you walk into town. Parking is always a little bit tight too. Should not put anyone off though.

View from the room was spectacular overlooking the town, beach and harbour. The balcony was perfect and very quiet. The hotel was in a good location

Not really something we didn't like but if you are getting to the hotel by foot there are steep steps to get to the property. It was worth the climb though for the view from the hotel

The location was awesome. View from the terrace was great. 15-20mins walk from both saint jean and Socoa
