The hotel is in ideal location - right across the train station and near the bus station, but it was very quiet during the night. Everything is in 2-5 minute walking distance. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They let us leave our suitcases for two nights after our stay while we went to Biarritz.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was practically non-existent. Yes, one gets connected, and there is also little sign that there is Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work, and at the end there was 'No internet connection' message. This was very frustrating because there is no internet cafe or anything if one needs to send email or check-in for flight, only Media-centre, which was closed in the evenings and on Sunday.

This is a lovely, small hotel with personality. The rooms are homely with excellent facilities. The staff are helpful and attentive. The breakfast (for which we paid extra when we arrived) was full of good things and taken in a light and airy room. The hotel is magnificently situated, about 200m from the station where we caught our train to Paris, and it's only a short walk into town, to its wonderful church, its market, its excellent restaurants and a fine beach.

The train and bus station are right in front… no fear it’s still nice around. Easy to carry stuff from transport. The market is a block away and you can walk old town, beach, etc. They told us we could drop our stuff early but in fact the room was ready early! The place seemed family run and they were very nice and gave advice or help. The rooms are nice and basic which matched prices. They were clean and not too loud. We could close our shutters to have quiet night and morning.

The hallway is super small is you struggle to move around. The bathroom door doesn’t allow for perfect privacy… fine with us just in case someone needs to know.

Great location, perfect for a short stay. Lovely staff. The room had air con and twin beds, which is hard to find in St. Jean for friends travelling together. Option for a small continental breakfast for an extra fee, which suited us for a morning with cereal, fruit, yoghurt, tea/coffee, juice & pastries. The bag storage facility was great for us on our last day.

The room and beds were comfortable, and all we needed for a one-night stay. I was pleased to receive a message before we arrived explaining about check-in and pleased that the receptionist seemed happy to let me practice my intermediate standard French.

In the short time we had nothing really came to mind.

Helpful staff, large room kept clean by excellent staff. Bed very comfortable ,shower excellent. location very good. I would stay again.

Breakfast ok but why have corn flakes ugh ,has no nutritional value. Otherwise St jean de Luz a great town.

So convenient to the railway station in St Jean de Luz. It is easy to get to the harbour and the beach from here. My room was really large with two double beds. The freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast was lovely. Croissants, Pain au chocolat and fresh peaches with coffee or tea really nice 😋

The communication with the staff was quick and efficient all the way through. Check in late at night, especially if you’re arriving with the last train, there’s no problem at all. The hotel is right across from the station. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and have everything you need. For a couple of nights it’s a great place to be.

Not too much really. The breakfast was a little bit poor in my opinion (just sweet items, no savory items, such as ham or cheese).

We had a wonderful room on the top floor overlooking the rooftops. Though the hotel is located at a busy intersection, our room was very quiet and comfortable. We loved the view. The hotel staff was very welcoming and polite, the location is fantastic, we would come back anytime!!

The lovely lady on reception gave me a kettle when I explained I have a caffeine allergy so bring my own teabags. She went out of her way to make our stay great! SO close to the beach and restaurants yet right across from train station it was perfect?
