I booked an accommodation for my parents , filled the form correctly, paid for the stay and left a note saying my parents don’t speak English. When my parents checked in they had to for the stay again. I tried multiple times and multiple ways to reach them to fix the double payment and they never even saw my messages. Complete disregard of the customer.

I stayed for only one night. Rooms are small, but it's ok for short stays. The staff is friendly and they speak English, which was very helpful for me as I do not speak French. There is parking available at site (with a fee for covered parking) Clean room, sheets and towels. Breakfast was nice, with several options.

The bed was comfortable, but pillows are extremely small. I think bigger pillows (or more pillows, since there were only two) would help to bring more comfort to guests sleep.

What I like about Ibis budget is that we know what to expect anywhere around the world, the amenities are basic yet the esential is present: decent bed, cleanliness and good breakfast

The overall stay was great! For breakfast, some items were missing a label: there were no labels for yoghurt and cream (simple mixup when serving)

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room very small and they did not had any hairdryer or shampoo on it. One small towel in the room but I was there to only sleep for the night. It can be better.

Hotel and room very clean The room was spacious (I emailed beforehand explaining one of my dogs had arthritis and struggled with steps). They placed us on a ground floor, which was great.

Location was a little remote for good choices of food places. Because the floors are laminated, my dog was like Bambi on ice, trying to walk in the hotel and in the room.

We were upgraded free of charge to the Ibis hotel next door as the Ibis budget was full. The room was very clean with a good bathroom and a large, very comfortable bed. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good value, just what we needed after a long journey. Lots of parking. Easy location just a few minutes from the motorway. Very helpful staff.

The only complaint was that the air conditioning didn't work and as the hotel's situated on a busy junction it was too noisy to have the window open.

Well located for the centre and quite close to the motorway. The room was spacious and comfortable and there was minimal noise from the main road close by.

The car park in front of and behind the hotel was quite tight, particularly for larger cars, and shared with the Ibis hotel and a restaurant.

The Price

Location. We were driving from Spain to England and I booked the wrong hotel . I thought it was closer to the main road

The room was exactly as I would expect when booking a budget room. It was small and compact with very few extras. For example no hairdryer, tea making facilities or complimentary bottles of water. However this was a budget room and you get what you pay for. The food in the restaurant next door was good and all staff we met were friendly, polite and helpful.

I can’t really make any negative comments as it suited our needs perfectly.
