The hotel is excellently located, just steps away from numerous Cognac Maisons, bars, and restaurants. It sits directly on a pedestrian shopping street, with a local fruit market nearby. The breakfast offered was outstanding! I highly recommend this property. If you decide to book this hotel, I suggest making dinner or lunch reservations when you book.

While the only drawback of this facility is the requirement to walk up to the hotel to drop off your bags—since there’s no on-site parking—this should not prevent you from making a reservation. In fact, there's convenient free parking just 150 meters away in a secure public parking area. This makes your stay hassle-free and enjoyable, so go ahead and book with confidence!

The entire experience in Hotel Heritage was a 10 out of 10. Lovely and spacious rooms with a walk-in shower and extremely comfortable beds are the highlight. We also really appreciated the breakfast,even vegetables were missing - but that’s a lot to ask for in France. The staff was always kind and seemed professional and calm. This just fitted incredible well into the old charme of the building. The location in the city Centre is perfect. We will definitely come back next year

This was the perfect place for me to stay in Cognac. The hotel has a fantastic central position with a 2 min walk to a wide selection of bars and restaurants. It is on a shopping street and the majority of the Cognac visitors centres are within a beautiful 10 min walk. The staff were all very welcoming and spoke really excellent English. The hotel is a beautiful house, well adapted to give all the modern facilities you would expect. The overall feel is light and airy. It was clean in both the room and public areas. The breakfast is excellent with cooked and continental both provided. I was intrigued the first night as they were setting up a charcoal fire pit for dinner service. Tables were highly booked but they found a table and I had a great dinner. The bar at the front is a pleasant location to wait for others or just watch the world go by. The bar and restaurant prices are the same as the other bars and restaurants around the corner. So with a great location, super building and excellent staff I would definitely book again.

Nothing, it really was excellent

The welcoming, the authenticity of the facilities, very French-like style. The beds are very comfy and great linens, as expected in a nice hotel Great view on the village, amazing rooftop view.. Quiet rooms,.very well situated. An amazing breakfast, good qualité food and varied. All the staff is very attentive,, kind and smiling. Wonderful experience indeed! Would have stayed longer if I'd had the opportunity.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

The room was lovely, recently redecorated. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The shower was amazing, too. The staff at the front desk showed us around, telling us about the 16th c Renaissance staircase and the breakfast area. She arranged for a reservation at La Maison, which is a gastronomical restaurant. We had a lovely meal and cognac with dessert.

Everything was great

The staff, in particular Louise and Sarah. Louise offered so much assistance before we actually got to the hotel, in respect to arranging a Hennessy Cognac tour, and also the secure parking at their sister hotel (a two minute walk from Heritage hotel) so important for us as we were travelling back to the UK and wanted peace of mind for our belongings. Rooms were lovely and modern (not very big) but very adequate, with a lovely bathroom and shower. The room was so quiet at night too. It was in a great central location and Cognac has a great vibe to the town. The Hennesy tour is fabulous and just a 10 minute walk from the hotel (make sure you go on the English speaking tour) we didn’t and wish we had, but it was still great. In the evening we ate at the hotel and both enjoyed the sea bass. Breakfast was plentiful in the morning, and we would definitely return to the Heritage hotel when passing this way. Really helpful staff, the location in the heart of the town makes it easy to explore Cognac on foot. We had an excellent dinner at Bistro de Claude which is a few minutes' walk away.

The hotel does not have its own parking. Public parking (paying) is available very nearby at Parking Jean Monnet which we used and did not have security problems.

Hotel Heritage Cognac was a delight. The bedding and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect—quiet yet close to the Cognac houses and main shopping street. We walked everywhere, including from the train station. Staff were kind and welcoming. Our only regret was not staying longer!

Loved everything

The location is right in centre of cognac close to shops bars and restaurants. The rooms are very nice everything you need is provided. It's been recently refurbished so very clean and tidy. The beds were comfy with separate shower and toilet. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Central location in Cognac within minutes of good restaurants. The decor in the hotel really set it off well. The reception staff were helpful and friendly.

Very little. But it was unfortunate that the fire alarm woke us at 2.30 am and it was a false alarm, which we found out after dressing and going downstairs.
