We travelled to Eguisheim with 10 friends to celebrate my 65th birthday. This lovely hotel and, in particular, the wonderful staff, helped make it one of the best weeks of my life. We had a comfortable room with powerful, spacious walk-in shower; firm bed and plenty of clothing storage space. The hotel served a generous and varied breakfast (for a daily extra charge) and had a nice bar serving local wines and beers throughout the day and evening and plates of charcuterie/cheese etc in the evening. There were comfortable small sitting areas on each floor. The hotel had secure private parking for an extra charge (book ahead as space is limited). The hotel is located at the entrance to the village and is within easy walking distance of all attractions/wineries and places to eat. The hotel provides useful advice on which restaurants open on which nights of the week. The multilingual staff (who had excellent English) will sort out anything you need - book taxis, help book restaurants etc - if you need them to. The picture shows Mariella and Mariella (yes, they share the same name and birthday!) wishing me a Bon Anniversaire. I would give this hotel 11 out of 10 if I could!!

Nothing. For us, it was perfect. However, just be aware that there is no lift and all rooms are on 1st floor and above. If you have mobility problems this may need to be considered. If you need a 1st floor room advise the hotel in advance - I am sure they will do their best to accommodate.

The room was sufficiently large and quiet. The breakfast offered all that I liked: different bread rolls, jams, an egg boiler. We did not use the restaurant. It was open at midday only. But the nearby village center offers all meals you'd expect from the area.

The only small point I did not like was that it was impossible to shower without water spilling on the bathroom floor.

Very nice quiet room and a very good breakfast with a lot of choice. Good snacks from the lounge bar and drinks served either indoors or on the terrace. Helpful and very friendly staff. Good practical parking space in the courtyard but it must be pre-booked. We decided to stay an extra night as we liked it so much.

A shame they don’t have a restaurant for evening meals.

The hotel was easy to find and parking was available. The staff was very friendly, the room was good with a good shower and comfy beds. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. The location of the hotel is great, just a few minutes by foot from the center of Eguisheim, with many nice restaurants (of which an overview can be found in the room).

We have been here before and are generally satisfied.

I noticed that the staff seemed to be struggling to cope with the increased number of guests. The receptionists were also waiters. When we were checking in, we had to wait for the receptionist to finish a long phone call, which was annoying.

The location and private parking was ideal. It was nice having a suite with a sitting area.

The room was on the 3rd floor and had no elevator. The room was hot at night. It would have been nice to have the restaurant open for dinner.

The hotel is in the perfect spot in the entrance of Enguisheim. We really loved the food. The breakfast is from another planet. Full of france delicacies. The room was comfortable, very clean and cozy.

There is nothing that we didnt like.

Excellent location just outside the centre of town. Clean and comfortable hotel. Room OK but decoration and furniture a bit basic for a suite. Breakfast fine. Restaurant not open for dinner (but lots of restaurants within a 5 min walk).

Room small. Bed small. No elevator. Restaurant only open for lunch.

The location was perfect! The hotel is easily accessible without having to drive through town. Our room was on the smaller side but that was not a problem for us as it was easy enough to stow our bags under the desk area. The room was clean & comfortable. It was nice to be able to have drinks on the patio as well as inside the bar area. We were lucky enough to reserve the last parking spot in their small parking lot.

Nothing to complain about at all. We will definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel. The location is the best. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good, quality food. The room is quite spacious, the bathroom is adequate. It is recommended to book the parking. I can only recommend it.
