A new hotel. In a wonderful location, just in the middle of Colmar park. Every corner of the hotel is very well decorated. We stayed in a room overlooking the park and the room quality was very high. We didn't use the indoor pool and spa but we visited and liked it very much. We stayed in a room with 2 children aged 8 and 11. They made the couch into a bed and the children were very comfortable. We had a great sleep. We really liked the breakfast. The lounge overlooks the park and it is a peaceful environment. There may not be a very large variety but the product quality and taste are very good. The parking lot is right in front of the hotel and they provide fast service for both the car and the luggage. They provide very warm service both during check-in and check-out and definitely make you feel good. We didn't use the hotel for dinner but after seeing the breakfast we thought we should have had dinner at the hotel.

The price is not cheap, in fact it is expensive, but I think it is worth it.

Room was nice and very comfortable. TV and Nespresso coffee machine good quality. Pool at spa and spa staff were wonderful.

No room service or food available 2 nights a week. (Meat n cheese plate only!) absolutely unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Staff pleasant but aloof and indifferent. Would not stay here again as a base to explore the region and other villages as getting in and out of it and Colmar not easy. The other hotel we stayed at in the area provided a much better experience.

We had a smooth check-in. Interior is amazing. All staff were great, from the front desk, breakfast & room service, housekeeping, and valet. Special mention to Rita from the front desk who did an excellent job, especially attending to our needs. In-room dining was impeccable. The food was delicious!

Just a little improvement of the turndown and make up of the room. We were only supplied with 1 big bottle of water on our arrival day, the next days nothing was provided. Except for small bottles during nights 2 & 3 turndown. Bed mattress is firm to sleep on. Airconditioning is not cooling the room properly, it was showing 23⁰C and doesn't go lower.

1. we were enchanted with the hotel and especially the staff, who were so very welcoming, friendly and helpful. our very sincere compliments and congratulations - the quality of the people was truly outstanding. 2. we had a very spacious and pleasant apartment, with balconies and sunlight across both sides, and a lot of room. it was so welcoming that it felt like home, except bigger! the overall design of the spaces was great: uncluttered, "simple" luxury, ie beautiful but unpretentious sophistication. it was clear that everything had been very smartly thought through and set up for both beautiful enjoyment and functional use, eg a lot of cupboard and wardrobe space along the walls, toilets placed very adequately, the great kitchen installation, the dining area positioned ideally between the two balconies, and the beautiful balconies themselves. 3. the meals were very tastefully prepared with delicious regional ingredients. 4. the bathroom amenities were lovely, high quality French brands.

1. apart from the very practical electrical points by the beds, the other points for charging phones and computers were located at the bottom of various walls, which required us either to put phones and computers on the floor, risking tripping, or having the electrical cables hanging through the walking areas by the kitchen table and dining table, again risking tripping. it would be really great if there was a bank of electrical points either at the top of the kitchen table, or by the cabinets in the living room, at a higher level, and with better ease of use. 2. kitchen sink had no towel, but we needed one to dry dishes and dry our hands.

I love the setting and the location of the hotel with proximity to the rest of the town. This hotel is extremely clean and very modern. The rainfall shower was the absolute best shower experience of all time but the best part was the breakfast which was so kindly delivered to my room free of charge.

The hotel is set to right in the middle of a park. As tranquil and ideal as it seemed unfortunately it rained both nights of my stay and the mosquitoes totally took advantage of the “ideal” setting as well. I also found it a bit challenging to figure out algorithm on the lighting pad as well as the thermostat. In this regard I feel like the hotel was a little too modern.

Have only one hour booking (so little serendipity) over whole hotel stay in spa due to managing numbers of visitors, but not sure they actually dealt with people overstaying so got a little crowded anyway. Asked also to book time for breakfast but reception failed to tell restaurant team so had to wait 20mins in lounge for breakfast, fortunately didn't impact our onward travel too much. Staff just said no booking was made. This was pre Christmas season - not sure how they'll cope when it gets really busy!?

Breakfast was super, but first not so easy to understand how to go about it. The waiters could have been clearer and seated us by our table and asked us what coffer and eggs we wanted. room is very nice, modern and well equipped. Spa was very nice. The Hotel lounge was super during day time, beautiful and a nice bar. The fitness facilities were excellent.

WE would have liked a small basin the separate toilet. FOr the Hotel lounge the temparature was too hot and during evening they could have dimmed the light, it has fantastic features but it was not cosy with to strong lighting and really bad music. WIth better ambience lighting and chill music you would get all guests to want to stay there.

From the first minute we were surrounded by attention, love and hospitality from staff. Lobby bar, rooms, bad , sweeping pool and spa everything was very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast is very delicious. Location of hotel is very close to the historical city center. The hotel situated in park zone . The last special moment was when we got our car from staff we found inside the trink water . We had amazing and unforgettable time in Colmar thank this Hotel. We’ll come back❤️

Food- time slot for Breakfast. Not acceptable for a five star hotel.- small babies in swimming pool. The pool is a small but very enjoyable not suitable For children below A certain age. Being a mother of 6 i Have a certain experience…this is not a family hotel. The opening hours to children from 8 to 10’makes sense and should be Furthered limited on ages.

This was our second time staying at L’Esquisse. It is a World Class hotel, with World Class staff. It is a home from home with top level luxury. Everything is seamless, from check-in, to valet parking and restaurant recommendations. The location is perfect- next to the city park and easy walking distance to the old town. The rooms are very well designed and beds are incredibly comfortable. The spa is very contemporary, with a lap pool, jacuzzi and large steam room. The bar has a huge replica of the face of the Statue of Liberty, which makes for a dramatic back-drop. If you are staying in Colmar, I would also highly recommend restaurant Les Racines.
