The fact that the host Jean Luc, a charming and helpful widower, has really married his hotel and thus manages it with extraordinary care and tenderness. All this in a location that is perfect as a base to explore the beatiful Provence. And finally the bargain of getting a 40m2 room for the price of the standard 18m2 room.

God’s decision to place my wonderful long and narrow country, Chile, so far away from Clos Saint Pierre that it will take us another 14 hours flight to come back 😉

For us it is the perfect stopover. The room was on the ground floor and we could unload the luggage right in front of it. A big bonus is the free parking. Breakfast was good with home made yoghurt and fresh fruit, croissants and a selection of jams. It was nice to be able to have breakfast outside on the terrace. We will certainly come back on drive back through France

The internet wasn't working but apparently glasfiber will be fitted soon which should solve this problem

Everything, starting with the gate, parking, the room, the pool and all other amenities were exactly what we needed to spend a day in Avignon, away from the crowd drawn by the theatre festival. Easy, cheap and comfortable to get in the centre of Avignon. Oh, yes, I forgot to say a few words about Jean Luc that was the perfect host. Always with a smile, he made us feel like home, like a friend welcoming old friends coming to visit him in the superb countryside of Provence.

We recently stayed at Clos St Pierre de Fraisse in and were thoroughly impressed. Its convenient location near Avignon Central Station and Parc des Expositions Avignon made travel easy. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The outdoor swimming pool and beautiful garden provided great relaxation. The host was friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the Avignon area. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay with Jean-Luc at Clos St Pierre, so much so we wanted to stay another night but unfortunately had already booked our train to Paris :( Jean-Luc was extremely helpful in booking us taxi’s, helping us to work out the bus routes into the town and suggestions on restaurant’s/eats. The accomodation was quiet and calm, breakfast was amazing, the pool was beautiful (and welcomed in 36° heat), we have absolutely nothing to fault. Love love loved it. We will be back again! Thank you again to Jean-Luc for making our stay so memorable- we will be back!

Quiet place outside the city but easy to reach by car. Very spacious room/apartment. Air conditioning available. Beautiful pool for swimming in the garden. Safe parking. Good breakfast, with indoor and outdoor options. Friendly and attentive host. Inexpensive for the amount of services and the spacy room, cheaper than comparable alternatives. The best accommodation during our 8-days travel through south-eastern France. We were sorry that the next days we stayed overnight in Nimes, we should have booked two nights there instead.

Our stay in Clos St Pierre de Fraisse was superb. First of all, this property had incredible historic feeling both outside and inside (as I understand it was a convent in the past). The property is located in a park-like settings with a large pool house and an actual pool (not a pool in a bath tub like in many other properties in the vicinity). Very spacious rooms. Our room also had a kitchenette will all bells and whistles. The host was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional: 3 types of yogurt (including very delicious home-made one), 3 types of cheese, 2 types of cold cuts, 3 types of freshly baked bread, croissants, jams, 2 types of juice, coffee, tea, etc. I would recommend this property to all my friends, and will definitely come back.

Internet connection was acting out during our stay.

If you want to experience a real Provençal countryside experience, you will enjoy the accommodation. The house is beautiful, the yard is very nicely decorated, with a gazebo and a swimming pool. Our host, Jean-Luc was very kind, we had freshly, warm and very tasty croissants for breakfast. The rooms are neat and clean, the beds are comfortable. The accommodation is relatively close to the city, it is easy to reach the old town by car. Overall a great experience!

The owners were friendly and very welcoming. The property and surrounding gardens were especially relaxing and peaceful. Overall an exceptional experience.

There was nothing we didn’t enjoy during our stay, apart from not being able to extend our stay.

It started with the warm welcome from the host Jean-Luc, we knew that we had made the right choice!. The rooms are all different and of generous dimensions. Shower and bathroom very good, and the separate toilet is a bonus. The breakfast is lovely, as is the poolside setting at which to have it, a nice experience. A very nice sitting room was on a level with our room, and has lots of books ,games and leaflets on the locality. Be guided by the restaurant info that the host will give you , you will not be let down.

The only negative point was the heat!!!,with no air con it was a bit sticky, but the daily temperature was hitting 34-35degrees so it was pretty high.
