The reception staff - Stéphanie and Raphael - were incredibly welcoming and helpful. All the staff seemed happy in their work. It gives the impression of a well-run hotel. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety to choose from and was of a good quality. The location was quiet and handy for both the station and the old town centre. Thanks to Stephanie’s enthusiastic recommendation, we chose to visit the Cité du Train over other attractions and she was right! It was excellent. It was very hot during part of our visit so we were also grateful for the efficient air conditioning.

The bathroom was dated and rather cramped. It needs refurbishing. The toilet was also not absolutely clean when we first arrived.

The hotel itself had a character which in my experience is lacking in most of the hotels run by the big chains that have an equivalent star rating and I thought the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was exactly what I wanted and it was nice to have hot snacks available 24/7 - albeit that they were not exactly of gourmand standard. My room was comfortable and overlooked the car park which had plenty of space available for guests. My room was also clean and reasonably well equipped and from my interactions with the cleaners, there seem to want to maintain the traditional standards and not cut corners which now seems the norm with some hotel chains.

I thought the desk/table was a bit small as I had to move both the phone and complimentary coffee making equipment to set up my laptop

Very well located, very very nice and friendly staff, comfy beds, daily cleaning, free water at the entrance, just what you need if you spend all day traveling around the cities and need a place to sleep.

As improvements we would recommend a small fridge in the rooms and for the room in which we got accommodated the shower head should be changed.

Small hotel in a little bit depressing surroundings, just a few steps away from the city center. The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel is small but clean, with rooms just big enough for sleeping overnight, large secured parking for the cars, simple but sufficient breakfast. Good place for tourists coming to explore Mulhouse but there is no space for working in a room if needed. Good value for the money compared to other options near the city center

The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. They provided free vin chaud in the lobby as it was the Christmas season. Breakfast was delicious and the buffet was replenished frequently. We ate in the bar once and enjoyed our meal.The room was clean, comfortable and suited our needs.

The mattress topper tended to move during the night.

Generally very good value. Room was fine, staff were good. Breakfast was poor so we skipped that. Locked secure car park was available on property so we were able to safely leave our motor bikes.

Breakfast was 12 euros extra, didn't look worth it so we skipped.

Breakfast was plentiful and the lady who prepared it was very pleasant and helpful. The location was good, just a short walk from the city centre. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly.

Hotel is very near to the train station and the main city they are walking distance not more then 10min...Room always clean and staff are very very nice and helpful.

The room was smallish, but perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptional, couldn’t be more friendly and helpful.

Everything was spot on and the private parking really handy.
