The room was well fitted out and super quiet, especially when you consider the location the heart of a busy city. Opening window is always a good thing too. Super convenient for public transport (Metro) and The Eiffel Tower. Other sites are within a reasonable walk. Plenty of cafes and bars nearby.

Although the air conditioning in the room was very effective, we could not adjust the temperature, so the room was occasionally too cold, While the hotel has a small bar, it was understocked, so we went out when we may have had a least a pre-dinner drink there,

I like the neatness and practicality of the small rooms for one person, their silence. The breakfast was generous. The staff was very nice, at the reception as well as at the breakfast. My room was East facing and very bright in the morning The bathroom was very clean and practical .

The bedroom floor was not very clean which was unpleasant with bare feet. The staircase would need some refurbishment. The reception should explain where exactly to present the card on the side of the room door in order to open the door.

Clean room and a comfy bed. We had a great view of Les Invalides. There was a bottle of filtered water in the room which we could refill from the filter tap in the bar. A nice touch. Nuruddin on reception was very helpful. The happy hour free coffee and croissants in reception was also a nice touch.

There is quite some debate about the size of the rooms. I'm 6' 1" and found the shower fine. The toilet was maybe a little tight. The room itself, whilst compact, made good use of every available space. The AC was quiet and effective. Overall we were happy with it and it was a good location for exploring the 7th (Invalides, ET, Quai d'orsay in particular) and by Metro to go further afield.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel De France! The staff was absolutely amazing—so polite, helpful, and welcoming, both at the reception and in the breakfast area. Their kindness really made a difference and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was good with a nice variety, although it would be even better if the options changed daily, especially for guests staying multiple days. Our room was very clean and well-maintained, though it was a bit on the smaller side. However, the hotel’s location is excellent—everything you need is just around the corner, making it very convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

The location was great. Close to the metro and a nice quiet area with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance (one right under the hotel. We walked to the Eiffel Tower from here which only took us about 25 minutes. The breakfast was generous and varied and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a lot to all floors.

There was very little hanging space for clothes.The lift makes very loud electronic beeps which could be heard on the rooms.

Location is 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Room was modern with comfy beds. Bathroom was modern and spacious. Breakfast is basic and ok for €15, toast, cereal, scrambled eggs, pastries, some fruit and yoghurts. Most staff were friendly. Hotel is in a quiet area.

Selection of coffee/tea in the room is poor so bring your own, no milk sachets in room either. Room doesn’t have a lot of plug sockets and there was no socket near the kettle so we had to move the kettle station to other side of room. Hotel is quite loud in the mornings especially with rooms being cleaned so not ideal if you wanted to sleep in.

Excellent location, very close to the Eiffel Tower and within walking distance of many more things if you enjoy a good walk! The rooms are very small, but they are clean and the windows open for fresh air. Our 1st room had no view, but they were able to switch us for the rest of our stay to a gorgeous room that looked out onto the front street. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. There was only one thing, the room was too hot. The thermostat didn't seem to work, it was set on 28 degree by default, I asked the front desk to fix it twice, but they failed to do that, if I turned the temperature down to 22-24, it would go back to 28 in a short while. Nevertheless, I still give a total of 9 for comfort, cleanness, and the location.

Was a wonderful stay,great location,easy to get any public transport.Lovely cafes,restaurants and shops close by.Staff were very polite and friendly..Slight issue in room no milk supplied for morning brew.Did ask but had to buy our own.Pillows very soft would be good if you had a choice firm or soft as 4 pillows on bed.Towel heater dryer was hard to set no instructions..Would still definitely recommend a stay.

All the staff were extremely helpful regarding check-in, breakfast service, questions about the area, arranging for taxis and general friendliness. Well done by the entire group! Accommodations for roomy and clean. Flowers I had arranged for were present when we arrived and were wonderful surprise for my wife. Hotel was an excellent location, within short walking distance to Napoleon's tomb, Eiffel Tower, Petite Palais, Rodin museum, metro stops , and many wonderful restaurants & cafes.
