The staff was very friendly and spoke English very well. The room is tiny, but it is Paris and you can walk to Notre Dame. Location is excellent. Many restaurants in the Latin Quarter are in walking distance. Very safe area and less 'touristy'. Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We had all we needed. We definitely used the Air conditioning.

It was really hard to get in and out of the shower because everything is so compact and in a tight space. I don't think they could have designed it any different, however, if someone is older or has difficulty climbing up and over a bathtub, you would have problems getting in and out of that shower. The linens and carpet are a bit dated, but everything was clean.

The location is excellent, close to everything in the Latin Quarter. The hotel isn’t super modern but we prefer small hotels and in Paris (for the price we paid) they tend to be like this. The room and bathroom are small but we are a couple travelling with just 1 bag so the room was fine for us, might not suit if you have lots of bags as there isn’t much space. Only used the room to sleep as we were out all day until late. we had room 42 on the 4th floor, there’s a tiny lift, it has a view over the Arena (at the back), we loved people watching from the window playing pétanque etc. It is super quiet at night as the arena is closed after dark and there’s no traffic noise when facing the arena. The staff are really helpful, especially Jacob, he is so friendly and interested in where we had been each day. We arrived before check in time but could leave our bags in the storeroom and go out. Check out is noon so we left our luggage again as our flight wasn’t until nighttime. Jacob arranged a taxi to Orly airport for us too. We didn’t have breakfast as we get up later and preferred to eat out and there’s some lovely bakeries close by and a carrefour across the road to buy picnic food. Highly recommend visiting Place de la Contrescarpe in the evenings. Just a few streets away from the hotel, a very vibrant area with lots of bars, cafes and cheap (for Paris) food outlets from different cultures plus free entertainment from buskers in the pretty little square.

The bathroom is tiny but fine for us (we’re average size). There’s a knack to the shower, you need to angle the two doors inwards slightly so the water drains into the shower tray, otherwise the floor will get wet. There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, which we knew when we booked, but it would make the stay nicer. There’s a hot drink vending machine in the foyer but we didn’t use it.

The location of this hotel is excellent! We could walk to most places we wanted to go, and if not, there was a Metro stop on the corner or a taxi easy to get out the front. There are lots of really nice restaurants within a short walk. The staff were all really friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable but quite tight. However, given the location and age, alot in the area are similar and in terms of value for money, we found this hotel really good. When we are next in Paris, we will stay again.

It didn't bother us at all, but the walls are pretty thin, so you could sometimes hear the people in the neighbouring room. It was all fairly quiet at night, though.

Excellent location. Very close to Place Monje and Cardinal Lemoine subway stations. Pantheon, Jardin des Plantes are within walking distance. Room was large and provided with a TV, mini fridge, locker, telephone etc. Bathroom was neat and was provided with shower gel and hand wash. Good housekeeping. Reception staff were excellent. Mr. Yakub and Mr. Vincent were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Breakfast was average with not many options. However, it included few cold cuts, bread, croissants, cheese, honey, butter, cereals and oats, tea, coffee, milk, cut fruits etc. Room heating was not sufficient.

Excellent service and friendly staff at the reception. There is an elevator, and breakfast can be ordered. The room is comfortable, clean, and tidy, with good soundproofing. The hotel’s location is very convenient: within a reasonable walking distance to key historical and tourist landmarks in Paris (you can walk to Notre-Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens and the Louvre). The metro station is also very close. Nearby, there is also a botanical garden with a greenhouse and a historical museum featuring incredible skeletons from prehistoric times and modern-day animals.

The hotel location is great for multiple reasons. To start with, its the hospitality of the staff here. Vincent from the front desk (spoke good English which helped a lot) went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated in comfortable rooms in spite of the short notice reservation. There are two metro's at walkable distance that take you to different directions to visit popular places. There are many restaurants around and Panthéon monument is walkable distance. Grocery stores and pharmacies are accessible by foot as well. The rooms should have been a little more bigger, but we found it comfortable for a 5 night stay. Not all bathrooms are remodeled, some still had antique bath tubs. Breakfast is in the basement and was complimentary with some good yummy options.

The elevator broke down couple of times, but we were told that was due to the heat wave across whole of Paris. All rooms did have usb outlets, however I wish there was atleast one power outlet near to the table or the bed.

The location was really as it was discribe in Booking.com and it did not disappoint at all as its just basically 5-10 minutes walk from the Notre Dame Church, this is the main reason i was draw to booking the hotel in the first place. The room was small in size really but just ideal for me as i always travel solor. The bathroom and shower room are separate in my case thus it was convenient and I like with both areas clean and greatly maintained during my 4 night stay in the hotel. All in all the hotel is what I expected and more.

The pillows for me is not that comfortable as to my personal preference I do not want it too elivated, it has to be of the right hight for me to be comfortable. Nonetheless, its just really my personal perference in the end.

The staff were amazing all around. Our room had a view of the arena and I definitely recommend that. The hotel was clean and tidy. If you are used to US chain hotels, this room is small in comparison, but laid out very well. We had two twin beds pushed together and that suited us just fine, the mattresses were very comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The location was convenient to many sites and also to bus lines and the metro. On my next visit to Paris, I plan to stay here again.

The hotel was cute but rooms are sparse. We were given a room on the 6 th floor with 3 twin beds which worked for us as there was only one closet.. The hangers are not able to be removed ( I hate that type of hanger). Also there are. no kleenex at all. These are small things I might add.. The front desk people are awesome. Breakfast is great, and can be served in your room.. Overall you are in a romantic area although the rooms aren’t romantic..

Better hangers..Kleenex. Coffee maker needed. Or free coffee ..

The room was very clean. No bed bugs in sight unlike other hotels. Affordable, too. Very good for budget travellers. The location is excellent. The neighbourhood is generally safe. There are many restaurants to choose from outside the hotel.
