location was perfect for us. it wasn't at all in the middle of the touristy place which is why it was quiet but at the same time it was very near the train stations which makes it accessible to visit the other sites in Paris. There was an artisan boulangerie right across the street which made it perfect for a chill breakfast. the room was small (like most of the hotels in Paris) but for the price, it was worth it (Paris standard cost). It was cozy and homey since it was just a small hotel.

Good location & the area generally felt safe. Walking distance to Notre Dame, botanical gardens and nice bakeries/cafes. The room was clean and the twin beds were a good size. Staff were friendly and we could leave our luggage locked up for a few hours after checkout without any extra charge.

We found it odd that we had to leave our room key with the front desk each time we left the hotel. It’s the first place I’ve ever stayed where this was required. Whilst there is someone to let you in 24/7, it feels strange to rely on others to access your room each time.

Nice smallish hotel with a front desk that is manned 24/7. Very pleasant, helpful staff who were most welcoming. Nearest Metro station, Place Monge, is just round the corner, and few stops to Les Halles, Pont Neuf, Louvre, Opera, etc. Across the street are 2 boulangeries/pâtisseries for quick breakfast. Front desk happy to book taxi to CDG airport for 72 euros, taking just over an hour. Highly recommend this over taking the trains as Place Monge station has a lot of steep stairs.

The staff couldn't have been nicer They helped us with bus, metro and train info and seemed eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. When they saw we were older they moved us to a room with a walk in shower because it would be safer and easier for us to use. The location was great, walking distance to Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame, San Chapelle, etc.) and we also walked to the Picasso Museum, The Cluny, the Grand Palais and Musee d'Orsay, etc. It was quite close to the Jardin des Plants and the Institute Arabe

This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. Location, staff, comfort, facilities were all amazing! Easy access to tubes, and easy walk to Notre Dame area. We loved evening walks for dinner at nearby place de la Contrescape and rue Mouffetard. The staff are AMAZING! Every single staff member was happy, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was perfect and excellent value. The hotel itself feels like it has been recently renovated. It’s spotlessly clean, and the lounge area is beautiful with very comfortable chairs Complimentary coffee. I would not hesitate to stay here, and we hope to return soon!

Took a taxi to the hotel although we could have taken the metro. The staff in the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They always had a smile and chatty too. The rooms are small but that is what one would expect in Paris for the price we paid. It is a very pleasant hotel to stay in and very close to all the shops and restaurants. One could get almost everything within walking distance. All the main attractions are within walking distance if you are reasonably fit. All in all a very pleasant stay and wonderful staff

Small and tight lift but it functioned so not a big complaint.

The hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it. First, it’s very conveniently located to the metro, the bus, to Rue Mouffetard, to the the wonderful Marche Monge (food & produce market), to the historical site Arènes de Lutece, plus to a host of bakeries and coffee shops. The best part, however, was the magnificent staff! Adelaide and her colleague whose name eludes me right now, but she was able to speak Spanish, plus Fatima in the breakfast room: from the reception desk and breakfast room to the owner, Ian: they were ALL so helpful (and able to communicate in English as well), plus friendly and professional all the same.

Great location, perfect boulangerie opposite, very nice staff at the reception.

The room could be cleaner, especially the wardrobe was covered with a layer of dust.

The location was easy to access and it was easy to get to other parts of Paris. There were several good restaurants, boulangeries and a supermarket close by.

There were steps up to the lift area. My wife found this challenging.

We bought breakfast 1 morning and were a little disappointed with the selections: only 1 type of cheese to choose from, the pastries and breads were limited, cutlery were limited and we had to wait for glasses for water and juice, not really what we were expecting but we only purchased the breakfast once so it was ok for us
