We had a wonderful stay for a few nights in Paris. Location is great. 10 minute walk from the tube which was direct from CDG Airport. Plenty of good quality restaurants around. Also a short walk from Rue de mouffetard where you can find all sorts or foodie shops for picnic essentials and restaurants etc. The hotel is simply stunning. You enter the grounds by a large green door on the main street where there are a number of cool bars and cafes with a relaxed atmosphere. As soon as you step off the main street you are transported. It's hard to imagine you are still in the center of Paris and not in a tucked away corner of a french village! It's incredibly romantic and scenic. The beautiful hotel cat can be seen occasionally lounging around the courtyard during the day. There are a good number of tables in this area that can be used for breakfast (if not inside) which was a lovely experience whilst taking in the picturesque view. You can also use this outdoor seating to eat your dinner that you may have purchased elsewhere (the hotel doesn't offer any other food other than breakfast - but you can buy wine by the glass or bottle if you speak to a member of staff - or just buy it from a local shop and bring back- they're happy to give you glasses!) All staff we met were incredibly polite and helpful. Our room was a great base for our short time in Paris. Basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh and full of flavour. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again someday

Perhaps strangely, we loved the idea the hotel proudly has no TVs in the rooms but I think they are missing something when nothing is put in its place. The room is very bare, at least ours was. Perhaps a radio wasn't added for fear of noise pollution, which I get if everyone is playing different music from their rooms and would certainly ruin the natural ambiance of the garden area. But maybe a couple of touristy books on Paris? A board game, a puzzle, cards? Just something to give the rooms a bit more soul - Though there was a bookshelf in the hallway area outside the room which I found at checkout to be fair.

The location, the parking, the amazing garden, and the most friendly reception. The neighbourhood is also convinient, vibrant and safe. I'm sure it deserves my recommendation.

I love the peaceful, secure garden setting of the hotel. Even though it is in a very lively area in the 5th arrondissement it is very quiet at night. The staff were all wonderful and went out of their way to assist us.

Not a problem for us but some people may not like it that there are no tv’s or fridges in the room. The staff will put anything you want in the kitchen fridge and as there is someone on reception 24 hours will get it for you whenever you want it.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from checking in to checking out. The staff (english speaking) was very kind. They really lived up to the expectations of the accomondation. The hotel itself was like entering narnia. When you open the big door and step over the high entrance you literally walk into wonderland. It was winter during our stay, but the surrounding was still magical. As the lady who checked us in described: a little village. It’s close to the underground and within 30 minutes with public transport to all the highlights of Paris. The hotel is also located within walking distance to the grande mosque of Paris. There are plenty of restaurants within a 3 minute walk and a lot of life during the evening. The rooms were comfortable and for the first time we did not have to ask for a second pillow, because this room already has 2 pillows (per person) laid out for you. The rooms are very aesthetically pleasing and matches the theme of the small village. It was also very nice that we had a bath. There are a few parking spots available in their garage, so make sure to reservate a spot for your car. It felt very safe to leave our car there. I will defenitly stay here everytime I come to Paris. && Recommend the hotel to everybody I know whos going to Paris. Thank you so much!

The location and atmosphere are simply amazing! It’s super close to the metro, with tons of cafes and bars around Place Contrescarpe and rue Mouffetard, and the Pantheon is just 2 minutes away. Even though you're right in the center of things, the hotel is tucked away in its own little courtyard so it feels really quiet and peaceful - a nice escape from the noise and crowds of Paris. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast was also great - and when the weather’s nice, you can even sit outside in the courtyard to enjoy it. Some people might mention the lack of a TV or fridge in the room, but honestly, the whole feel of the place is exactly what you'd want if you’re to really enjoy Paris - relaxed, welcoming, and focused on the experience, not the extras. It was the perfect spot to return to after a day of wandering the city. We'd definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect. We were able to walk into the centre of Paris and to many of the museums we visited, but it was also close to a metro station for journeys further away. What we particularly enjoyed was coming 'home' after a morning's sightseeing and relaxing over a picnic in the hotel's beautiful garden, where the staff make you feel so welcome. They don't mind at all that you bring in your own food. After a rest in the garden we could set off again for another exploration of Paris. Each evening we could walk around the neighbourhood and find any number of lively, good-value restaurants close to the hotel. We'd been to the hotel before, and would go again.

The room is quite small, but by being organised and stowing everything away, we were fine. It's not cheap. But what you pay to stay there is balanced by the fact it's so central, one saves on metro fares. And it's friendly and beautiful. So It's well worth it.

Staff was great. The bed was super. Room was pretty basic, but that's OK.

The only thing I would have really appreciated that I didn't have was a mini-fridge .... there was a cabinet for it, but no fridge, and I do like to go to the local store and have a couple of things in the room, especially b/c this hotel has no bar or other facility to get anything beyond breakfast.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We were in Paris celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday, and on her birthday at breakfast, all the staff came out with a cake and candle singing Happy Birthday. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay there again we we ate back in Paris. Thank You.

This hotel takes me back to old Paris in its style and spirit. From the toile wallpaper in the rooms, the bidet in the bathroom, to the glorious shaded courtyard entry, we were whisked back to another era. Our stay was peaceful in the midst of the sometimes cacophony of the 5th arrondisement, and the staff are superb. We particularly enjoyed the service in the breakfast room, again another throwback to a past era. The fact that Ernest Hemingway at one time lived across the street is also a notable fact!
