Our first room #2 had a handicapped shower that leaked into the bedroom portion. You could tell from the water damage on door that this was not new. We were concerned about mold as well as the water all over the floor. We did get a new room the next day which was lovely with a window onto the small courtyard. Staff are friendly and helpful. Having the umbrellas at the door nice extra as it rained one afternoon. The lobby lounge was very nice with complimentary detox water and comfy chairs and articles with good suggestions for local Parisian treasures in the Arr #5. Lobby makes for a nice place to journal at the end of day of adventuring in Paris. Breakfast has fabulous choices. An water fountain available to fill water bottles. I LOVE the Cats as mascots but I think they really run the place :-) I would certainly consider staying again.

We love this little hotel. It is in a great location. Less than five minutes walk from a good metro stop, a fabulous boulangerie, and some excellent restaurants and bars. Only 10-15 minutes walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious (superior double room). We had breakfast included. It was plentiful and delicious. The young lady who looked after breakfast was a legend. So organised and well prepared. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

We've been to Paris many times and wanted a different location, away from the main attractions. This was absolutely perfect in the delightful Latin Quarter and just 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame. The Metro station is just 2 minutes from the front door, so very easy to get about anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance so there's no need to go further afield to eat. The staff were exceptional, so very friendly and helpful with information, and the 2 cats in reception just stole everybody's hearts! We'll be back!

Nothing, it was perfect for our needs.

The charming concierge made me feel this was home and was helpful in every respect. The young woman who cleaned was dedicated and professional even helping to adjust the complicated temperature control and checking back to ensure it worked.

For me the location could have been better as my focus was on art galleries and opera usually accessed by Metro line 1. The Cardinal Lemoine Station ( the closest) although a few stops from La Bastille had an arduous outside to the sidewalk and back into station detour at Line 10 which was also badly lit at night. Construction was the reason so hopefully this will soon change.

Perfect location. The staff was so patient and kind. It's an older hotel and you can tell however the location was great and I mean great. I was there for the new year from the 28th of December to January the 2nd. The hotel staff arranged a taxi for me and even the taxi driver was great. It's around many restaurants little grocery stores and kind of tucked off so you're not on the busy busy street.

Older hotel but for the price what can I say? It was clean. There was blood pressure medication left in my room one day which was a bit frightening. I stayed in the handicap room which had large windows out to the patio. Those windows were not secure enough and people could go out there and smoke. That's the thing that made me pretty uncomfortable was that you could easily climb through the window if you wanted.

Loved the bed and all the accessories (wall wardrobe, tea/coffee/soap flavour/the warm color of the lights). Thank you for having a thermostat in the room, it was excellent ☺️♥️☀️ Super close to Notre Dame ♥️ transport options & short walk to a lot of restaurants. Will stay again!

Nothing serious compared with the good parts ☺️ I wasn’t informed that it would be an attic room; otherwise, there was enough space to change in the bathroom. I didn’t checked the details so i didn’t bring home slippers. I noticed the hot water in the morning, not in the evening at 9:00-10:00 PM when I arrived in the room, and it was ok for a shower but not for my head.

The breakfast is very, very good with choice of self-making fresh pressed juice, very lovely fruits, yogurt, French croissant, French bread, ham slices, honey, milk, and cereals and butter and cheese, different kinds of coffee, Stillwater, sparkling water, crumbled eggs, etc. etc. It’s just amazing 🤩 The location is fantastic and very close to natural history, museum, and several big universities and the places of interests. There are a lot of shops and supermarkets around and it’s easy to get everything you need. The room is spacious and the bathroom is very clean and the stuff cleaned my room every day. They are just so nice. The building is classic style French architecture and I also have my own little balcony in my room. It’s just so lovely and wonderful. The staff are very hard-working and friendly and easy-going. I really love the experience. comparing to the hotel I currently live in now in Munich, it’s just a paradise!

Wonderful boutique hotel in the Latin quarter, short walk to Notre Dame. Well connected by 2 metro stations, Juisse and Cardinal Limoine. Close to RER St Michael Notre Dame. Large comfortable bed in a fresh stylish room, really characteristic with large windows with juliet style balconies. Shower was incredible, large rainfall style rose shower head. Lots of hot water at high pressure, absolutely great ! Breakfast was superb, choice of pastries, crepes, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and a hot selection of eggs, bacon. My daughter loved the hotel pet cats which were very friendly. You can hear a faint rumble when the metro passes but this isn't loud and did not disturb us at all. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Excellent hotel, I don't have a bad word to say about it. Totally recommend 👌 Great pizza restaurant round the corner called bon vivant. Totally recommend there too.

Location was amazing! The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the saint michel notre dame station and you can get to pretty much anywhere from that station. There are lots of nice restaurants, cafes and bakeries nearby too so there are plenty of food options in the area. Staff were great, we only spoke a little bit of french but that was no problem at all. The staff were all very friendly (including the cats too). The breakfast was great too. We weren't expecting much, but honestly we were pleasantly surprised at the variety and the quality of the food. You even get freshly squeezed orange juice which is always a nice treat! :)

Room was on the smaller side, however it has everything you need. No complaints at all :)

The Hôtel Vendome Saint-Germain is in a wonderful location walking distance to the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens. The surrounding neighborhood is also very pleasant to walk in and has plenty of nice bars and restaurants to choose from. It is also easy to take the Metro to other areas should you wish. The location is far from being the only benefit - we found the hotel very comfortable and the perfect base for our stay with a breakfast including everything you could want! We felt very welcomed by the hotel staff who were all friendly and helpful (including allowing us to store our luggage for a a few hours before we could check in). Would recommend for a short or even a long stay and would certainly come back if I am in Paris again!
