Lovely location, felt safe in late evening as a female solo traveler, right next to supermarket. Easy check in, good wifi, beds were comfortable, good shower.

Narrow staircase, but thats just paris for you so no complaints.

Very awesome location, right on the doorstep of many nice bars, restaurants and shops. This did mean that at night there was a bit of noise from outside at night but nothing that couldn't be helped with earplugs. Many bus and metro stops in walking distance, as well as some key tourist attractions like Notre Dame and the Luxembourg Gardens. The room was very spacious, with lockers and its own sink so you didn't have to leave your room to brush your teeth or fill up water, and the kitchen space downstairs was very nice and big with a fridge, a microwave, plates and cutlery, a sink, many tables and an additional bathroom. There were two showers and two toilets per floor which was largely adequate as I never had to wait for either. The ability to use luggage storage, showers and bathrooms before and after check in/ check out was a massive bonus, very helpful as we flew in to Paris quite early and our train out of Paris was later in the afternoon, so we were able to hang out in the communal space downstairs when needed.

The staff were certainly not rude by any means but were not very friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction work going on while we were there which wasn't the end of the world but did impede our ability to use the communal space near reception and the bathrooms on our floor. I understand that it is because of the location but this hostel was very expensive for what it was. Would've been nice if there was a cooktop in the kitchen to be able to cook meals.

I just loved this hostel! It is at a very safe location and walkable from 2-3 metro stations! It has many cafes and pubs nearby. The crepes on the street are the best. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. The receptionists were very warm and they let you store baggage for free in their locker rooms before and after checkout! The toilets were clean and i could take hot showers everyday in cold winters. I would stay here again on my next visit to Paris!

The location was good, very easy to reach other parts of Paris and landmarks like the pantheon. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds!!! Bathrooms were also reasonably cleans

It is on quite a lively street so was quite noisy at night but after a long day in paris and earplugs I had no trouble getting to sleep! Bathrooms were also being redone when we stayed, which was unfortunate as only bathrooms were on the second floor - three toilets, two showers, which may lead to shower queues, but we didn’t experience this.

My stay at this hostel was very peaceful, the shared bathroom was clean, the water was very hot and the sheets and towels were extremely clean. The whole environment is pleasant and quiet. My biggest compliment is in relation to the staff, everyone was very kind, especially the receptionist Claude, who is extremely polite, pleasant and friendly, made my stay even better! I would definitely recommend the young and happy hostel! Close to shops, restaurants and train station

The location was excellent. The establishment itself was very cute and quite cozy. In the room there was a vanity, a big mirror, a trash bin and a table. There was an option for using lockers, but I personally didn't use them. The room and beddings were clean upon arrival. The city tax could be paid by card with no problem. Toilet and shower were communal, but there was enough of them to never create a long queue and they were clean. The bunk beds were very ok to sleep in, although it did get a bit cold during the night with a thin blanket.

There was a great lack of surfaces in the toilet and shower area. There was only one clothes rack besides the shower so you could only hang your towel and maybe 2 more clothing items, but nowhere to put anything else you might have on you (cosmetics bag, underwear, pajamas etc) without them getting wet. There was also no way to dry your hands when you washed them after going to the toilet unless you had your towel with you or tried to use the hair dryer.

It was clean and cleaned daily. The rooms were big with lockers inside, you just need to bring a padlock. It's in a great location with lots of places to eat and bars. Has a great vibe about it. There is a supermarket right next door, which I used for my breakfast of warm croissants and pastries. The staff were lovely and helpful. I wanted a run locally and a lady told me about Les Jardins which were nearby. Beautiful too, so well worth a visit. There are also a few metro stations nearby too, do getting about was easy enough. I would definstely stay here again.

That there was only 1 double socket in the room for 4 beds. It did also get noisy at night so unless you sleep easily then you could be disturbed by the bar opposite. There is a small kitchen downstairs with a big fridge and a microwave but no other cooking facilities, which was a shame. That said there is plenty of places to eat in the area, street food and restaurants at reasonable prices. The crepes are gorgeous and cheap imo.

A really good location and a good value for money. The rooms are simple but functional. The sink+mirror in rooms is a great plus. The people working there are nice and welcoming and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and nice

The bathrooms were okay and clean, just a bit older infrastructure so a bit of cracked tiles but nothing extreme. What was extreme was the water temperature that you can't regulate so it's hard to have a nice shower without having a feeling that you're burning your skin off. I don't know if it can be changed but would be a plus in my opinion.

The stuff was really good and friendly and the hotel was in a very central location, just a few minutes away from a metro station. To be honest I thought a reserved a room in a htel with private bathroom, I didn't see it was a hostel with shared bathroom so I was a little off. But on second thought it wasn't that bad, the hotel was really clean and we saved a lot of money. If you're determined to use a shared bathroom it's a great money-saver

The shower in the room couldn't change temperature and the water was very hot and you couldn't really take a shower.

Located at a historic vibrant district, can enjoy the street market at day time and the numerous restaurants in the evening. The building itself looks historic, the facility is primitive, but by Paris standard it’s ok. After staying at multiple hostels in Paris, I think this hostel has a good value: a fridge for me to put food, a supermarket as neighbor. Don’t compare with the cheap & good hostel you can find everywhere in Germany. This is Paris, shower is still by touch button! At least it has hot water.
