The communication with the hotel, prior to arrival, via booking.com messenger was excellent. I had actually booked Hotel Vinci, but cancelled and changed to Monte Cristo, due to their lack of proper communication. Monte Cristo booked us hotel transfers prior to arrival, gave me hotel recommendations, booked our pool access, and were on hand at all times to answer all questions to allow us to fully enjoy the experience! We were also very grateful for the excellent cleaning service provided through our stay. Our room was kindly cleaned and replenished daily, a lovely treat after a days exploring the city. We found the room beautiful and very Parisian, the size was very good - we booked the deluxe, I believe a lot of rooms in Paris are small, this room size and bathroom were perfect. The window doors opened up beautifully as shown in the images. We slept very comfortably. We walked into the stunning Latin Quarter daily, the popular Rue Mouffetard area had the best vibe and was so safe and welcoming. I found all Parisians more than happy to help and be kind, the streets immaculate. We found the best way to get around the city was to download the Vélib app and to cycle using the electric bikes. Minimal effort required and cycle lanes everywhere. Tip - green bikes are manual, teal colour electric. There is a drop off / pick up point end of our street. I wouldn't recommend Lime bikes as they need to be left within Paris city boundaries, not as far up as Latin Quarter. Would also recommend Bateaux Parisians evening meal cruise with a window seat - pre book online & hotel will book you taxi. Also recommend cycling to Montmartre, absolutely stunning! Although cycle fast via 10th Arr. Moulin Rouge is also over this side. I found the metro intimidating so electric bikes were our choice of travel.

Everything exceeded our expectations.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Montecristo in April, in Paris, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of design, so chic with Parisian elegance and with modern comforts. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. The little bottle of their own rum blend we tried was so delicious! All the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. I recommend to have dinner at their restaurant. The food is incredible! Overall, The Hotel Montecristo in Paris, made my trip unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris!

There is so much to live! First the warm, welcoming staff were so precious! Especially, Serena who deserves a raise for her excellent hospitality! She helped me so much with learning about Alexander Dumas, recommending cute French restaurants & finding my way to the Dinosaur museum! I’m extra grateful for her time & energy. Also, the pool & sauna are so lovely! Perfect for all the walking around!! My room was so clean & fresh and the bed was like a cloud!! I had a lovely sleep!!

I should have gone to the bar! Next time!

Room was gorgeous, very comfortable and luxe. Just down the road from a metro stop so easy to get to. Pool and sauna area is spectacular, really added to our stay. Great cafes and restaurants a short walk away.

The bar is a lovely area but so focussed on rum, the one drink I don't like. Felt bad asking for anything else.

Lovely boutique hotel.. such really nice staff.. Barman amazing…spotlessly clean and lovely products, dressing gowns and slippers… pool and sauna..lovely added extra… lovely bars and restaurants near by.. 😊

From the moment you step into the hotel , the decor , the staff and a signature aroma ( good) made it feel luxe. The welcome chocolates and Madelines were a beautiful touch. Lovely decor. Comfortable beds and extremely helpful staff! We managed to use the pool and sauna which was amazing after walking all over. Public transportation was a walk away so very convenient. Even though there is no fridge in your room. They will store anything for you in their fridge. Also you can request for a kettle if you need one. We decided to upgrade to a room with a balcony for the full Parian feel. A drink at the bar is a must too! What a perfect stay in Paris !

Everything was great.

Felt very luxurious, loved the interior design jn tge reception & bar/breakfast room, a kind of 1930s colonial tropical theme. Indoor pool was great, warm towels included. Max 4 people allowed as its long but narrow so not easy swimming past people. We went at 9.30pm so had it to ourselves. Gorgeous bathroom, made me want to copy it in our own home! Comfortable bed, great antique armoire. Breakfast incredible. Very high quality food, even smoked salmon & poached eggs available. Beautifully presented on the bar area & hot drinks delivered to the table by staff.

Towelling Dressing gowns provided but both in small sizes & couldn't fasten together! The bedroom was lovely but nowhere to store suitcases, had to leave open on the floor as not enough storage for clothes either so needed cases accessible. We were touring France for a fortnight so had brought 2 weeks of clothes rather than just for 3-4 days so needed drawers & more hanging space etc The bedside lights were lovely but gave off no light. There were modern ones behind but obstructed by the other lights so impossible to read at night? 26min walk to the Seine (& the Batobus) probably 10min walk to nearest Metro Overall these are minor details as we loved the hotel.

The location is excellent. You can easily walk to the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens, and even down to Notre Dame without getting too tired. The hotel itself has a LOT of character—we really liked it. That said, there are two major highlights. The hotel bar is beautiful and of very high quality. They specialize in rum and offer a creative and original cocktail selection. We had the chance to try several, and each one was worth the visit. The second highlight is the newly opened restaurant—we tried the tasting menu, which is absolutely worth it. Special mention goes to the staff, whose kindness and professionalism were truly top-class.

The rooms are truly beautiful, though unfortunately a bit small. We understand that given the area and the charming building, there’s probably not much that can be done, but it’s something to keep in mind. Also, our room faced a rooftop, so the view wasn’t particularly impressive.

Lovely room. Great location. Good bathroom. Nice to use the pool and sauna. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the balcony views. The rum concept bar was also fun, would recommend trying at least once.

The room temperature fluctuated a lot overnight as we were on the 6th floor. They have a booking system for the pool but other people also used it during our slots, so it’s wasn’t private. Very little (almost no) vegan options at breakfast. City tax and deposit not made clear when booking and add up a lot.

The location was great for exploring the 5th and 6th arrondisments. The look and ambience of the hotel is charming and the room was attractive and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I knew there was a rum bar, but was very disappointed not to be able to get a beer after a long day's travelling. It seems a little unreasonable to expect everyone at the hotel will want to drink rum. We ended up going to a cafe at the end of the street. Also it would have been good to have a small fridge to keep our water cool. Also, a kettle. Those silly coffee machines make a small tepid coffee, and my husband prefers tea which was not an option.
