This hotel is a cute boutique hotel nestled around 5th district that has lots of cafes and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable,modern amenities and compact. The beds were very comfortable and we had a very good night's sleep.The staff were very professional and helpful. The pressure of the hot water was good . They offered 1 free bottled water per person on the first day.They gave us a higher floor and quiet rooms.We got 2 rooms with one family room which had a renovated walk-in shower which has a rainshower and hand held shower which was awesome ,room was 62 ,floor 6 and a deluxe room which has a king bed which was very comfortable .

The location wasn't close to the tourist main sites like Eiffel Tower,Louve Museum,Champs-Elysees so we have to take transportation. The room was compact and the washroom was a bit small but the amenities were excellent.The continental breakfast was not very good so we went outside to eat.

Not the property’s fault, but it’s not close enough to a Metro station to make hauling luggage easy. We had suitcases for an extended stay, and so ended up taking a taxi to get to/from the hotel. This is more “for your information.”

The room is very comfortable, although it's small. These guys knows something about good design! Also I liked so much that there is Marshall speaker in the room, so you can listen to your music in real good quality. The location is one of the best that could ever be. Definitely, will be staying here again.

Immaculately clean, room was cleaned everyday. Great location close to metro 7 ( direct to Louvre and Palais Royale), Good restaurants on rue Mouffetard nearby , Good coffee machine 24/7 and very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast smells so good in the mornings! We didn't book breakfast but the manager gave me a gratuit delectable croissant with my morning coffee. Overall we loved our stay! 5th Arrondissement is now our favourite neighborhood of Paris.

Room was quite small ( as usual in Paris ). The lift stops on landings between floors and not at the floor itself, so you have to lug your luggage up or down half a flight of stairs.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, firm without being too hard. It was nice to see wooden flooring instead of a carpeted room. The view from our room was of the courtyard and rooftops which was fine, it was a treat to wake up to blue skies every morning. Our room decor was lovely, minimal but modern and colorful. The shower had great water pressure. The lobby has a great self-serve coffee machine (which makes a great hot chocolate).

The walls are quite thin, including the door, so you hear all the steps, the neighbors going in and out of their rooms. But it is a small hotel so the foot traffic is very minimal. Luckily no one back late at night nor left very early in the morning on our floor! The bathroom is quite compact but modern and clean. It would be nice to have a hook or two to hang towels and clothes.

The rooms were quite small but super well planned, we had everything we needed. Everything was sparkly clean. The staff was very friendly and the location was amazing, with lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Unfortunately, due to the construction, there were some ants in our room. Also, very typical for old houses in Paris, you could hear everything from the hallway. It felt like people were standing right next to your bed when they were actually outside your room. But nothing some ear plugs can’t fix.

I had a fantastic stay at de l'Esperance. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional—everything from the lobby to the rooms was impeccably maintained. My room was spotless, everyday of my stay they changed the bed sheets and towels, the room was beautifully decorated, and had a very cozy feel, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff truly made my stay memorable. They were incredibly friendly, always greeted me with a smile, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. Overall, it exceeded my expectations with its clean environment, welcoming staff, and comfortable rooms. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience!

The location is not very close to downtown. If you're planning to spend a lot of time in the city center, be prepared for a bit of a commute. However, the hotel does offer a peaceful, quieter atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle, which can be a nice change of pace.

The Location is superb, conveniently located within the Latin Quarter.. along a quiet stretch of the rue Pascal. Once you cross the road, is to the old market street Rue Mouffetard, which has many many good cafes, restaurants to fill up happy bellies. The rooms in this hotel are good size and the beds are comfortable! We are glad we get good night sleep every night and not hear the noise and sirens that is always going around in the streets of Paris. The staff are always so helpful and friendly and eager to offer their advice. We will surely book this hotel again, for our next trip back to Paris.

The breakfast can be better than the minimum croissants, yoghurt and the fruits and cheese are not good spread either.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the hotel's beautiful aesthetics. The whole lift arriving between two floors was a bit confusing at first, but we got the hang of it. Other than that, all the staff were friendly, everything was exceptionally clean and location was PERFECT! I was even helped with an ironing board and iron when I asked. Wonderful!

Night manager (blonde man) was SO unfriendly. That was the only downfall of our stay. He constantly made us feel like we had no business staying at the hotel. Barely greeting and always was suspicious of us and our coming and going. VERY unsettling - and made me feel like I was poor and shouldn't be staying at the hotel at all.

We really enjoyed staying in this location. It's on a quiet street, a 5-minute walk from the Censier-Daubenton metro station, and just 15 minutes walking from Gare de Port-Royal, which is on the Blue line to/from the CDG airport. There are dozens of excellent restaurants, patisseries, and shops nearby, including the many along Rue Mouffetard, a nearby pedestrian street. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. It appears the building was completely renovated fairly recently; the plumbing, electrical, and heating were all modern and up to date, no problems with water pressure or anything like that.

As is typical for Parisian hotels, the room was fairly small, though very efficiently designed. We had no problems with noise from adjoining units, but the gap under the door let in noise from people talking in the hallway, though that was only for a minute or two on a couple occasions. (It would never be an issue if people would remember that there are other guests in the hotel, and speak softly in the common areas!)
