I've stayed here several times over the years and it's always my go-to option when staying in Paris. Great location, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff.

I wish the price was a little less expensive - but it's Paris prices....

Nice neighbourhood, quiet at midnight. 2 metro stations are close, there are also restaurants and shops, bakeries etc. I was worried about the shared bathroom but our room had a toilet with a sink and the shared shower in the corridor was clean and had good water pressure, as well as hangers for your towel, we used the shower every day and sometimes twice as there was a heat wave, there was never a queue for the shower! The staff were nice. You can leave your luggage there for free (we used it after we checked out, did not use it before checkin because they let us check in 3h early which was very nice). My son's favourite part was the vending machine in the lobby with really good prices (everything was 1 euro).

There was no AC so it was kinda hot (we slept with the window open and then it was ok). There are no elevators, only very steep stairs. Did not bother us but might be a problem if you have a stroller etc. The only real problem was that the towels and bed linen (we only cared about the towels) were not changed at all and one of the two towels was small and looked like a rag to be honest... but other than that (you can bring your own or maybe the hotel could upgrade their towels) the hotel was amazing value for money and we loved our stay.

The location was amazing. The famous French Bastards bakery was right around the corner and there were many other restaurants and cafes around too. The entire room was very specious and clean too.

I was travelling with my mum and 76 year old grandmother, so climbing up to the 4th floor every time, as there was no lift, was quite a struggle. Also because the weather was on the hotter side during our stay, we had to keep all the windows open to get some ventilation in the room. However, the outdoor street noise was very loud until 11:30, so if you're a light sleeper and it's very warm outside, it could be a problem.

Right in the heart of the 11th arrondissement with excellent transport links and every shop, restaurant or bar within a short walking distance that you could possibly want, this hotel was in a fabulous location. The staff were warm and welcoming. The room was perfect for a single person, with a comfortable bed and its own toilet and sink (room 22). The domestic staff come in every day to clean and make the bed too. The shared shower (a couple of doors down) was always clean and tidy too. As a solo female traveller, it felt very safe too. It was very reasonably priced for Paris I thought. I loved it and will definitely stay again for any future visits.

There was nothing I didn't like but be aware of the following things: * It is a shared bathroom * It is a busy area with cafes and restaurants under your windows * Paris does not sleep! Deliveries started early morning and city staff were still emptying bins at 10pm (in my country you'd be lucky to find a council worker after 5pm!) As it was very hot weather and I had my window open, I became accustomed to sleeping with the background noise of a busy area. Personally, I love hearing the streets outside. * There is no lift so you need to be able to get up and down stairs easily.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The personnel was excellent and very helpful with everything we needed. The reception is open 24/7. The rooms are basic but clean, with a daily cleaning service. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, close to Le Marais, walking distance to the Notre Dame area. Close to two different metro lines. We had a lovely view from the 4th floor. I was stressed to sleep without A/C in August, but the fan and window open at night were perfect and no A/C was needed.

My only suggestion is to consider new bed covers - they would make a better first impression than the old brown ones. :)

I absolutely loved Luna Park Hotel! The location is awesome, surrounded by restaurants and bars, the staff (Hassan and Reba) were so kind and helpful at any hour of the day, they let me borrow a kettle to make tea in my room and there is even a fridge to leave your groceries, the single room was small but well equipped with desk, chair, an en suite toilet and shower down the hall (all spotlessly clean and I never had to wait to use the communal shower). Big window to feel like you're part of Paris, and a powerful fan to combat the 38° heatwave. It is a wonderful budget hotel for someone who is backpacking and tired of hostels.

A bit noisy but that's Paris in the summer and the price you pay for staying in a fun area! Bring earplugs!

The location is great: close to the subway (Metro) and bus, many terraces and great restaurants close by, right across the street from a real French bakery with a Pharmacy just around the corner as a bonus. Pretty quiet and safe neighborhood and within walking distance of the Notre Dame de Paris (30 min walk). The room itself was more spacious than I would've expected for a 1 star hotel and for such an old building. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see we even had some amenities (shower gel and mini soap).

The soundproofing isn't great. The first night was fine, but on the second night we had a lot of noise from the room above (probably kids running around and playing). Not really a negative, but be aware that there's no elevator since this is an old building. I also have my doubts about staying here in the summer, since there's no air conditioning, although I saw a fan was provided.

Great location at vivid subdistrict, adjacent to range of high rating restaurants, and also close to convenience stores and subway/bus stops. The room is cleaned daily They present wrong price for the room but give me small discount and shift my booking to the en-suite room bedroom as compensation Good value for money

A bit noisy due to the restaurant at the ground floor, need to prepare earplugs for sleeping; the guy at the counter for nightshift sometime does not look literally happy, but considering his job status that's understandable

I’ve stayed at Luna park hotel a few times now, and it’s always been a reliable and pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, making it a great place to rest after a day out in Paris. The location is another highlight - the surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of charm and local character. It’s also conveniently close to the metro, so getting around the city is easy. Overall, it’s a solid budget-friendly option in Paris. Nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for a clean and central stay without breaking the bank is a great choice.

Wonderful staff - excellent location ideal for attractions like Sacre Coeur and a really warm and friendly neighbourhood Not expensive at all and there is a beautiful church nearby the Saint Ambroise church- steeped in history and both churches absolutely free to visit also the Luna Park hotel is an ideal location for the Metro The room was well cleaned daily and all round reception staff throughout the night too and a wonderful restaurant next door and cheap but lovely shops and supermarket nearby An easily affordable way to do Paris on a shoestring 🙂
