Hotel Max is the perfect place for a Paris stay. I booked it for my daughter and her friend for their first time in Paris. The room was perfect - comfortable, modern, and in a central location to catch the metro, with local bakeries, cafes, and food markets. They used Uber and taxis also - and walked, as you do in Paris. Breakfast was great to set them up for the day. They liked Hotel Max and its staff so much they booked for another four days. Their stay was the perfect setting to fall in love with Paris, an experience that will be with them for a lifetime and future visits to come. Thank you for looking after them Hotel Max!

It was perfect.

A lovely hotel in one of Paris' most beautiful arrondissements. We were worried we'd be a little far out, but the metro station is very close, and there were also things to do in the local area. I can particularly recommend a walk around Parc Montsouris. The hotel itself is modern and clean and our room was well serviced every day, with a few lovely touches like a coffee machine. The shower was excellent. We booked a larger room and were glad that we did as it was still only just big enough, really - though smaller rooms are always to be expected in Paris. The staff were super friendly, with brilliant English and great humour. We didn't have breakfast but the downstairs seating area was very nice. Overall highly recommended and we would definitely stay again.

The only real complaint was the lack of headboard on the bed. We understood why they had laid it out like this as the bed is in front of the window and I think that they didn't want to block light, but it meant a) the pillows slipped off the bed continually during the night and b) we missed being able to sit in bed earlier in the morning and plan our day. A low headboard would have made so much difference. The bed itself was comfortable and wide but not very long - my feet hung off the end. The lift is teeny tiny (two people max) but this was no issue for us - just an FYI if you have mobility issues. Otherwise everything exceeded our expectations.

Exceptional, friendly, helpful staff - thanks to everyone, who helped us through the stay. Stylish rooms and amazing terrace - great for evening glass of wine or morning coffee, even in February. We also loved the location - conveniently accessible by metro, also available by nice walk from Montparnasse or Luxembourg garden. Loved authentic neighborhood cafe and boulangerie next door.

We personally missed some items in the room - small fridge and glasses, for example. We were though provided and helped by wonderful staff, but we would appreciate if it would already be there.

Nice location, close to the Metro and Bus stops. Also a lot of shops, restaurants nearby. On the corner a very good Bakery, even Cinema. Very easy to reach the downtown but still relaxed area. The staff was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. They also gave us bigger room on the same price and stored our luggage after checking out. The breakfast was also good, buffet type, continental type. It is a butique hotel, so no bar, no fridge, but it is not a negative, it is a fact for this type of hotel.

Everything was cool, maybe vegetables/salad would be good during breakfast. But it is really not an issue, just a recommendation.

We loved our stay at Hotel Max. It's a little quirky in its design. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mouss especially is a real credit to the hotel - he made us feel so welcome. The continental breakfast was lovely with a bit of everything! I have only knocked the score down a little because of the very low bed and the chairs at breakfast, which are challenging if you have dodgy knees, but otherwise we could not fault the hotel and we will definitely book it again next time we're in Paris.

Location of hotel Max is simply perfect. It is located in the safe and quiet neighborhood, a few steps from restaurants and cafes and near metro station Alesia. We had a beautiful terrace in the room, spacious, with a lot of flowers, quiet and secluded. The staff was very kind, they helped us with everything, including resolving issues with our driver to the airport, who was lost on the way to pick us up.

Room could be bigger and breakfast could offer a greater variety of food. However, having in mind Paris standards - room is OK, very clean and comfortable and we had the most beautiful terrace I could ever imagine,

The hotel and the Alesia area are very nice, the hotel provided everything you need, all according to the pictures. Staff very friendly and you can decide on the breakfast last minute.

Sometimes you can hear people walking on the stairs in the hall or TV and people chatting in neighboring rooms. But it was only for a moment and not a real problem for us.

The hotel is located in a nice, authentic and quiet area. Away from the tourist suffocated center of Paris, but very close to the subway station, so you can get anywhere in no time.

There's nothing I didn't like. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Maybe the price doesn't quite reflect the distance. It could have been a tad cheaper.

A charming and unique hotel in the center of Paris. The wonderful atmosphere can be felt from the entrance. The hotel staff is great, the breakfasts are very tasty and everywhere is close (a few steps from the Alesia metro station). We got a beautiful hotel room, clean, well soundproofed, with a very comfortable bed. We spent a wonderful weekend there! We warmly recommend it :-) !

The hotel was very chic and had a great vibe. The room was a nice size for two people, nicely decorated, and very clean. The front desk was very friendly and always staffed; they quickly remembered your room number when you retreived your room key. The neighborhood was close to several restaurants and the metro was conveniently located down the street.
