Hotel Le Clos D’Alesia is in a pleasant neighbourhood, two short blocks from a metro station, across from a large supermarket,and close to reasonably-priced restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There is a 24-hour concierge for late-night entry. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, bed linens were crisp, shower was spacious (though bathroom was cramped) and we were well-supplied with towels. Our double room included two small bedside tables with drawers and two bedside wall lights. We were at the front of the hotel but found the street reasonably quiet, even with the window open. The room was bright during the day, with good, light-blocking curtains if needed. This was a decent budget (for Paris) hotel and great base for our purposes.

It would have been difficult to spend much time in our room, as there was no space to sit, and only about 12 inches between the foot of the bed and the wall. It didn’t seem as if much thought had been put into making the room functional. The tiny table provided was an awkward shape and blocked the window from opening. There was no room to sit at the table. There was only one suitcase rack and no place to store or hang clothes during our multiple-day stay. Only one wall socket and not convenient to the bed. The breakfast was baked products, and sugary jams, yogurt and applesauce and was not worth the extra cost, particularly with a good supermarket and excellent bakeries nearby.

Let’s be clear, this hotel is a classic example of the high value, tourist hotel. It is not the plaza It does not cost what the plaza costs. The staff are superior, the hotel is clean, the neighborhood is quite close to two Metro stops and an important bus Inter-connection. There are any number of very good appropriately priced restaurants in the immediate area. I pick hotels on price and reputation. I will return.

Nothing, they executed exactly in accordance with what they were offering. This is a three star tourist hotel they nailed it.

Hotel has a great location - safe area, close to metro, tram and bus. There is big Carrefour almost right across the street. The room was nice, even though it and the hotel is pretty old. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily, which these days is not a given . The staff was really nice and helpful. And the price is more than fair.

We were suprise by the fact that we had to leave a key to our room every time we were leaving the hotel, but but nothing happened and in the end we didn’t mind it at all.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Friendly and welcoming front desk staffs. Bedroom is big enough for one person. Housekeeping kept the room clean and tidy every day. Carrefour is just opposite the hotel. Metro M4 and bus stops are 5 ~ 10 minutes walk away. There are many restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay here.

The room maybe noisy when guests check out or check in early in the morning or late at night. It’s unavoidable in most Paris hotels.

Everything was fine compared to the price. And the price was really ok. We were 3 mins away from Alesia metro station..and walking on Avenue le clerque or du maine is all close by attractions. Even montparnasse is in the vicinity. The weather was really cold but we were able to walk all over the avenues up to Montparnasse and come back easily. Metro line 4 is very handy and can tkae you from the south most to the north most edges of the city in 45 minutes. It took us 30mins to reach gare de l'est where we took a train to Germany.

Old fashioned otel, needs a bit of renovation but then i am afraid it would have a big impact on the prices. Although i am not into watching tv during vacation I tend to criticize if the hotels do t have a "smart" tv. It is abundant and wverywhere but the hotels just keep on using the tvs from 20 years before.

Very helpful and friendly staff who spoke excellent English, we don't speak French. A few minutes walk from Metro line 4 which takes you to a ton of places. Wife is a diabetic and they were able to store her insulin at no extra charge. Comfortable room, we were there 4 nights, no issues. WiFi strong and fast. Shower hot and good pressure . Made our stay in Paris

They were kind. They let us check in early because the room was ready, we had clean towels, beds, a room, cleaning supplies. elevator is a plus. They have cleaning every day. Staff is helpful and kind. On the last day, they kept our luggage so we could enjoy the day. They were so kind and room was all we needed. Clean and tidy. Location is very close to the metro 4. We would like to visit and stay here again! Thank you.

Nothing bad

We had a great experince the hotel was just a few minutes from train station in a quiet part of town. Very safe which was important to me travelling with my daughter. The check in was smooth, friendly staff as well as accommodating. There is a grocery store close by and so many little bakeries. I asked the staff how to get from train to hotel and got a detailed response so fast which was so appreciated. Thank you for the great experience.

It was close to the Alesia Metro and it has everything!!! Grocery, restos, coffee shops, you name it! Plus the staff are so nice and very very accommodating. Will definitely come back here!
