Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a nice cosy vibe overall. The view in the back courtyard was extraordinary and created a wonderful surprise in the morning. Greatly located between two metro stations so practically most of the (busiest) lines are covered and well-connected. Initially expected a "budget/typical 3-star kind of hotel" but it appeared to be really good. Quite a pleasant experience overall.

The common areas (corridors, stairs, entry hall) could benefit from better cleaning and a (somewhat needed) renovation, but it's not too bad. At least it's not falsely advertised and, for the price, it was more than alright for us. We have visited Paris many times before so being a little outside was not an issue. However, perhaps if you're a first-time visitor and don't know how to navigate Paris, it might be more problematic..

This hotel was a gem for a Paris getaway — in a fantastic location with a surprise Eiffel Tower view that made the stay feel extra special. The room was compact but had everything I needed, and the strong A/C was a lifesaver during warmer days. Everything was super clean, and the overall design struck the right balance between aesthetic and function. The staff were also warm and helpful, making check-in and daily interactions smooth. For the price, it felt like incredible value — especially given the comfort, views, and convenience. I would absolutely stay here again.

The layout of some of the rooms was a bit awkward — for example, the bathroom was in a separate small room from the rest of the room, which felt a little cramped. Also, depending on which room you're in, some windows are next to private residences, so we occasionally got cigarette smoke wafting in if we left the window open. These were small issues, though, and didn’t take away from what was overall a great experience.

The hotel location is very nice, and the room I stayed in was spacious and clean. The check-in eas efficient and welcoming. During the day, we were always attended by a friendly and helpful person.

I had sheets with holes... nothing that keeps me from sleeping, but still... At night, the hotel had a rude and unfriendly concierge. The lift was out of order for a while, and when we adked if it was going to be like that for long, he answered rudely that it would not be fixed until the next day (we were staying at the 7th floor). When wecame back after dineer the lift was back to work, and when we mentioned it, the concierge mumbled something rude again...

We absolutely loved the hospitality.We were welcome by lovely staff,in particular Viny..his appearance and professionalism was outstanding. He was listening to us and always made sure me and my boy had all we needed. There was never problem about our requests.He replied with smile and pleasure. The room was lovely and clean with a gorgeous view on Eiffel tower,thank you so much for doing this for us as this was requested in advance. We will definitley come back to explore more. We loved a location..quiet, close to the metro and very clean xxx Breakfast was beautiful x

My son said the shower could be closed with a door, to make sure he wasnt spreading the water out.Althought it wasnt an issue,we just didnt want to flood the neighbours downstairs ):)

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Montparnasse Alésia. I had no trouble getting to the hotel from the Gare du Nord as there was a direct metro to and from the station. The staff was really helpful and friendly. My room was not very big but big enough for me. I did really like that the hotel listed up what they do to be environmental sustainable. Also the advice they gave to the guests to be sustainable as well was really appreciated. One thing I thought that was a but weird, was that you had to give your keycard to reception every time you left the hotel. In the end I really like this service as I don't have to worry losing the key card anymore. The breakfast was quite good, not very extensive but it was good enough. One thing I was really missing was some cheese slices, as there were only meats. If I'm going to Paris again, I will be seriously considering to stay at this hotel again.

The window of my bathroom was a blurred window, however a curtain would assure you to have more privacy as you never know what the people on the other side can see.

All the staff were very kind specially the Brazilian at the reception and another guy that spoke Portuguese. Breakfast was basic but really good with all you need in the morning. Location is in a very sweet and local neighborhood with nice coffees around. Not many tourist thing to do but nice to wander and easy to walk around.

You just should know that the room is really small as mentioned on room size but it has a nice big window that make it very cozy.

My room was very cozy and silent despite the hotel being on a road that might get crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast good value for Paris. Location very convenient close to all sort of public transports. My room was small but very well organized with smart solutions to organize luggages / hang clothes etc and well equipped (nice table lap, small desk to work etc. ). I'll definitely and happily stay there again.

The room was very small and a little dark (a more powerful light would be helpful) but not grim. It would be hard to fit more than 1 large an 1 medium size suitcase.

The location is really good. It's a 7-10 mins walk either way from metro lines 4 and 13. Great for exploring the city as those two lines have stops of interest for tourists. Although the breakfast options weren't extensive, it was a good enough breakfast to start your day. I know a lot of Paris tourist advice states that hotel breakfast is not the way to go and a local bakery would be better. However I'm glad we went with the breakfast options because I did not spot any boulangeries close by so something to be aware of The room sizes were ok but this is Paris and for a couple staying over for 2 nights with most of the time spent exploring the city, it was just the right size. We had a room on the 7th (highest) floor that was looking out towards the Eiffel tower in a distance and a fantastic view of the local area so we would recommend this. Worth stating however that the lifts are quite slow and will only take a maximum of 4 people totalling 300kg so if you're a big family or group, you'll need a couple of trips over a couple of minutes to get down. Otherwise just use the stairs Some of the simple things like usb charging ports and air conditioning (which is not standard across Paris hotels) just made our stay that little bit nicer which is why we would love to stay here again when we get a chance The checkout time is 12 noon which is genuinely helpful when you've had a long day prior and don't have an early journey back. There were also little nice touches like a water dispenser and some pastries downstairs which are handy on your way out. The staff were very friendly and mostly spoke English quite well so were very helpful with directions and tips

The lifts were slow, quite cramped and very limiting for bigger groups staying on higher floors

Montparnasse Alesia offers an excellent stay in one of the best spots in Paris. Its proximity to amazing boulangeries within walking distance and Metro stations just 10 minutes away connecting to central Paris make it highly desirable. The location provides convenience and accessibility to explore the city. Additionally, guests can enjoy views of the Eiffel Tower from higher floors. Overall, Montparnasse Alesia stands out for its prime location, offering guests a chance to experience the charm of Paris while being well-connected to its vibrant heart.

The rooms are pretty small, if you are traveling with huge suitcases it's not that comfortable.

I had a small single room, it was comfortable and clean, the A/C was a little temperamental, I'm not sure what the issue was, perhaps it was simply due to what the cleaning staff set it to, but one evening I came back to an oven, another evening the room was very cold. It's not the end of the world I simply reset the temperature once I got to my room and waited for the temperature to normalise. The bathroom is quite small but has all the necessary equipment. Despite being right next to the elevator, the room benefits from good sound insulation so I was not disturbed.

Breakfast instructions are not that clear, you can have a full breakfast for EUR13, however if like me you only want a coffee and a croissant you are better off going to a nearby bakery (the staff are very helpful and will tell you where they are). What I discovered once I was at the hotel is that there is an option of continental breakfast but you have to book it in advance, so if this is what you are after enquire before arriving at the hotel.
