The room was spotless and the bathroom was perfect with a huge sink, powerful shower, and good mirrors and lighting. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet and from the window I enjoyed an open view over trees. I had the buffet breakfast one day and it was very good. The location is convenient for Vavin or Montparnasse metros or Port Royal RER, and there is a useful bus route very close too (91). There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep too.

Hotel was beautiful, with a garden terrace and fountain on entry, spacious rooms, bathroom amenities, and a buffet breakfast that is the best we've experienced. Cafe's, restaurants and transport close by. Thoroughly recommend a stay.

They request a 100€ deposit once you arrive, which is something not mentioned in the Booking description at least until the bookings date (May 2025)

Location is excellent (for walking and public transport) and we would come back any time, very close to nice restaurants also. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but they were kind enough to provide us milk late at night for daughter when shops were closed. In general very nice experience in hotel and size of rooms (family room) good for Paris.

There are works in the hotel (from10 am to 5 pm) which for us was not big issue but for others could. After renovation hotel will be even better I am sure but there was loud ventilation in the part of family room where is bunk bed. Fridge in the room will be standard I hope since there was not during our stay.

It is located very close to Gare Montparnasse, bus stops along Boulevards Montparnasse and Raspail as well as several metro stops (Vavin, Edgar Quinet, Raspail, and Montparnasse-Bienvenue). The catacombs, Montparnasse cemetery, and the Luxembourg garden are nearby. For a snack or toiletries, there is a supermarket (Monoprix) open until nearly midnight. And, yes, it is a safe area. There are many restaurants offering a wide variety of options (seafood, pizzerias, Thai, Korean, Italian, and more). The hotel staff is friendly and professional (and multilingual). Despite being so close to busy boulevards, cafes, restaurants, movie theaters, and city life, the rooms are really quiet. There is a safe and mini fridge in each room. They have blackout curtains and we took advantage of them and slept late once or twice!

This is the second time we stayed at Villa Modigliani. And we plan on returning to it in the future. However, compared to our prior visit three years ago, breakfast had more limited choices, especially of fresh fruits. There was plenty of bread and jams and jellies.

I loved the Queen beds, windows that opened, decor, separate WC, and in-room fridge and coffee. The air conditioning was great. The room was quiet. The two courtyards and lobby offered plenty of nice places to relax. The hotel is safe and well positioned near multiple metros for easy access to the rest of Paris, train stations, and airports. Plenty of interesting areas to explore near the hotel too.

I recommend that umbrellas be available for guests to borrow, and that free coffee be available in the lobby. An iron and hairdryer were not in the room, but available upon request.

Entry to hotel was off the street through a lovely quite courtyard. Hotel was undergoing renovations although didn't provide inconvenince. Staff were friendly and spoke English. Hotel room was clean and comfortable with heated towel rail, clothing racks and powerpoints next to bed. Hotel was within walking proximity to resturants, grocery store, bank and train station.

Would highly recommend staying, with minor inconvnience of room central heating being too warm and inability to lower the temperature and the hair dryer didn't work.

The room was spacious, cozy, and recently renovated, with very comfortable beds. The whole hotel was extremely clean, especially the breakfast area, which was spotless and beautifully maintained. Breakfast itself was a highlight—delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location was exceptional—everything was nearby, with plenty of great restaurants around, close access to the metro, and many city sights within walking distance, which we really enjoyed. One of the best parts was that the hotel isn’t directly on the street, but tucked inside a lovely, large garden. This made it feel peaceful and secluded from noise, yet the moment you step out of the garden, you’re right in the heart of the city.

Although breakfast was delicious, some trays were already empty even though we arrived about an hour and a half before the end of breakfast time. It seemed like there was only one staff member handling everything, so having at least one more person there could help keep things refilled. We also had an issue with the garage—it was quite tight, and getting to the -3 floor was a bit of a struggle. The path from the garage to the reception area was also quite dirty, likely due to ongoing construction. While it’s great that improvements are being made, I hope once the renovations are finished, more attention will be given to keeping that route clean and in line with the rest of the hotel, which is otherwise very luxurious, cozy, and well-maintained.

Location. Excellent. Set back off the road so very quiet. Many restaurants nearby with prices to suit all. Didn't have a bad meal during my visit. Breakfast had a good wide choice that should suit everyone. Big breakfast room so no issues with accommodating lots of people at once Good sized rooms for Paris, clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.

One lift was broken - a bit unfortunate for the hotel but only one other lift in use for guests and staff. Very slow and frustrating. Air conditioning difficult to control, either too cold or too hot. No in-between!!

The central location, with nearby restaurants and stores. Easy to get in and out from the street, if you're waiting for a taxi. Beautiful grounds/gardens and patio area. English speaking staff was very helpful my french is very limited. The hotel is very secure, they do lock the outer gate, but easy to get in after hours, by ringing the doorbell. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Maybe colder a/c. But honestly I think you just have to have patience for the unit to cool the room. I think Paris was having a heat wave going through.
