The staff were amazing. It’s a great neighborhood. I visited alone and felt very safe. Close to restaurants, the metro, small groceries, and the ambience can’t be beat. I’ll be back although I’ll be sure to request a room not facing the front street. Stay here if you like cool people, a chill vibe, yummy breakfast, decently priced champagne, and a groovy atmosphere.

I booked a room that was indicated as having a balcony but when I arrived was informed that special request like a balcony must be made in writing. This is good to know and I will make sure to write out my requests in the future. I was offered a room with a balcony when I arrived but it’s good to know that it isn’t guaranteed even if the booking site indicates it on the site description. I was there during holiday and should have brought ear buds. Rowdy people on the street (outside of the hotel’s control).

Awesome hotel, so much history, if you stay at the hotel ask to see room 21, very interesting. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Great location. Cute, quaint, lots of attention to the decor. will definitely return.

Just note that when booking the room may say with balcony, but they don't all have. we had to downgrade to get a balcony but were given the choice and given 2 rooms to look at. Even though we downgraded it was worth every cent.

This little hotel is wonderful. It is in a fabulous location, with Place de Clichy metro only minutes away and Moulin Rouge was close by too. The rooms have character and style and were immaculate; the staff were really helpful too. We stayed in room 32, it was beautiful! We would definitely return and recommend it to our friends ❤️

Lovely room, burlesque decor, amazing rooms.

There is a lot of noise from the bars outside, but that is part and parcel of the atmosphere and comes with the lively nightlife. The triple glazed windows cut out all of the noise.

I was here for third time and again amazing time. Perfect location, clean, beautiful design and decoration. Very special hotel with style and history. I will come back

Lovely room, beautiful decorated, loved having a room with windows and a balcony looking out onto the street below. Period decor and features including an authentic tiny rickety old lift and twisted leopard print carpeted staircase..Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke pretty good English (a lot better than our poor French). Tasty plentiful breakfast of crusty bread, butter jam and pastries and a large coffee pot. I wished I'd tried the 24hour bar service and sampled the cocktail menu which looked great. We also got breakfast out at a nearby patisserie Maison Landemaine which was fab. The location was very convenient, I walked up to the Sacre Coeur and we walked to the centre to the Louvre and other places, it's also very near a metro station. Nice local restaurants nearby too, and lots of choice of cuisine (we did Pho, sushi and slightly fancy French!). Toiletries provided (included some Gautier perfume samples!).

The only thing we didn't like was the room was understandably noisy because of the bars on the street outside so we kept the windows closed which stopped most of the noise but then the weather was quite humid and so the room got very hot at night and it meant our sleep was a bit disturbed. We should have enquired about the air conditioning but we didn't get around to it.

Perfect location in the 9th Arr. right near a metro stop lots of places to eat, attractions to see, and plenty of wine bars….woo hoo. The staff was so so nice.

Honestly, I don’t think there was anything they could have done better! We really enjoyed our two week vacation. They were very accommodating!
