It was perfect location. Easy to get to all the major sights on public transport or taxi. The room as lovely. The reception are great. The staff were kind and helpful. We could not ask for more.

The restaurant and bar were stupidly over priced. We paid €12 £10 $10 for a small bottled beer. €14 for a cake. We were going to eat in the restaurant but decided to walk 50m to local restaurants which offered much better value for money.

Booking.com says that all fees and taxes are included in the price. This is not correct. Upon arrival you must pay a 200€ "restaurant deposit" regardless of whether you're planning to use it. ~16€ is kept for city tax. Deposit takes 5-10 working days to be returned. This was not clearly indicated prior to arrival.

A lovely, stylish hotel with excellent amenities, friendly staff and comfortable beds. The location, right next to Pasteur station, makes it very convenient for heading anywhere by metro. Cafes and good food within close proximity, and good burgers and cocktails at the hotel lobby. If you need prompt housekeeping (e.g. if you need to go back to your room later), let the front desk know and they'll prioritise your room, as it otherwise can happen relatively late in the day. Front desk team were very helpful throughout, including printing our photos out for the weekly Navipass metro pass.

The towel radiator was set to maximum temperature, so while the lights & temperature panel by the room door showed a temperature of 17c, it was sweltering the first night until we spotted that towel radiator was unexpectedly blasting out heat. So hot tip, check the radiator in the shower room.

The room was great and hotel staff fantastic

The balcony room was a waste of time . The balcony is shared by 4 rooms with only stick plants segregating ! Didn’t feel safe . You could easily walk along all rooms ! Plus view was not nice the back of a block of flats ! So to pay more for it was not good value at all .

This was probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in on all our travels. We like design, and this hotel has it in spades - there are so many small, well thought-out details throughout the hotel and the room, right down to the cutlery in the restaurant. We spend six nights in room 416, which was large and comfortable. I have never experienced a shower like this in any hotel we've ever stayed in. The water pressure is magnificent, the water almost instantly hot. The staff are very friendly, particularly Jessica, who welcomed us and showed us around our room. That in itself is unusual, and appreciated. Breakfast is excellent with a variety of food on offer: bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread, bread rolls, cold cuts, smoked salmon, cheese - a feast! I loved the cloth serviettes - a luxurious touch in todays paper napkin world. The location is great with Pasteur metro station outside the hotel, but you can walk to the Eifell Tower, Champs Elysees or Notre Dame in 30 minutes.

There was very little not to like, except maybe the breakfast staff were a bit unattentive. I mean this very constructively, but sometimes the coffee machine would not work because it needed to be filled with water, or emptied out, and this would have to be brought to the staff's attention. Or there would be no plates or cereal bowels and you would have to ask. A sharp restaurant manager wouldn't allow this to happen. However, these things didn't happen when Ophilie was in attendence, and she needs credit for this.

Good location, balconies, stylish rooms (albeit tiny).

Practicality of the rooms: i.e. there is no place to hang your towel or bathrobe in the bathroom. (i.e. style over practicality issue here). Room service had some hickups: - no toilet paper was provided on one day; - 2 tiny shower gel tubes for a double occupancy room during a warm season (when people might want to shower during the day before going out for dinner) isn't sufficient. And on one day new ones weren't even provided. Both issues were also reported via the fancy in-room tablet-system, but they got no reply nor action. Fortunately, all these issues can be easily solved with some management attention.

What I liked the most was the room itself — spacious, with stylish design, large windows, and a balcony where trees and bushes grow, creating a very cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and attentive, and breakfast was tasty with high-quality ingredients. The location is also perfect for walking around the city.

The only unpleasant surprise was that a deposit was requested at check-in, which was not mentioned on Booking at the time of reservation. It would be much better if such information was clearly stated in advance to avoid misunderstandings.

Very friendly and competent staff, responsive and engaged to support. Very interesting, in our view nice design of the hotel, inviting offers to enjoy more time in the bar and restaurants, and roof top; a very relaxed atmosphere. Room towards the boulevard was noisy when window opened. This puts the benefits of the beautifully green balcony somewhat into perspective. However, we enjoyed sitting out there for some moments when arrived back from a whole day out. Otherwise (regarding neighbouring rooms) absolutely peaceful. We slept well, the quality of the beds supported that. The complementary two bottles of water each day and a coffee making facility were truly welcomed. Metro station just across the street adds much to the comfort. Comfortable walking distance to Invalide and Eiffel. Nice Brasseries and Bistros close by (…and we ate the very best Croissants from Des Gâteaux et du Pain, just nearby).

There is nothing

Everything was amazing. Really surprisingly amazing. The best hotel that I've been in Paris, and I've been coming for work more than 20 years. Don't know what they did, but it's one of the rare hotels where you want to stay in Your room. Cozy feeling, not cold-luxury-generic feeling. Really loved it and will be coming back there. Also, they gave me a free upgrade, which was also great. GREAT value for money, great breakfast, great coffee machine in the room and a terrace so big I never had seen one like this in Paris.

We stay at Villa M every time we visit Paris. Great location, right next to the Metro. Central. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are always welcoming. This hotel also has parking, which is very convenient. In the summer time, the rooftop has the perfect view of the Eiffel Towel. The beds are comfortable. Rooms have blackout curtains. Overall, this hotel feels like home away from home as we will continue to choose it in the future.

Bathroom: Some rooms could use a little bathroom refresh - shower door leaks and floods the floor. The hotel was doing some renos during our last stay - maybe that’s what they are fixing. Views: We usually book the same type of room facing the main street. Rooms facing the opposite side don’t have the best views.
