Lovely! Large, grand, old building, providing traditional service with our rooms made up daily. All staff were friendly and helpful. In the centre of Castellane where there are many restaurants to choose from. Our room had a bath (with shower over), a rare treat these days. Warm decor, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Excellent bicycle storage. Would recommend.

The shower leaked under the shower door so the bathroom did end up rather wet. During my touring holiday I am learning this is not uncommon.

Very nice hotel in the heart of this lovely town. Our twin room was basic but spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. It had a wonderful view of the rock and of the square. The bathroom was good with a shower in the bath. Good bedding and towels. The hotel has a garage/store area specifically for motorbikes and cycles: a huge bonus for us on arrival. Both the hotel and the town are very popular for bikers. We had our evening meal at the hotel too. We ate on the terrace and the meal was very good.

The view from our room (#29) of the plaza an the Rock of Castallane was exceptional. Location great-Gateway to Gorges of the Verdon. and surrounding area, We arrived on a Monday and there was a market in the plaza. (wine, jewelry) Staff very friendly and accomodating. Cold breakfast with cereal, yogurt, fruit was good. Our room was good size, with good lighting and nice shower.

The staff was very friendly and relaxed, we felt very comfortable and the location right by the market was nice for a stroll through town in the evening. The river is in very close walking range and several lakes with gorgeous water a short drive away.

Nice Hotel, the room was very clean and the bathroom was new also. The parking garage can hold 6 or 7 cars and was perfect of us to securely store the two classic cars we had. The location of the hotel in the centre of the town was great with bars and restaurants on its doorstep. We didn't eat at the hotel but had drinks from bar and found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly.

The hotel was good, Thibault was an excellent host. Meals were good and overall atmosphere was relaxing and friendly.

The meal and bar service could have been quicker. All our party was of the opinion, that because we were not regular customers, we were at the "back of the queue". I know there were a lot of people, but more staff may be the answer.

We liked the hotel becuase it was in the center of town so very convenient to the river. The restaurants across the street were busy and accommodating. the breakfast buffet was well stocked with a variety of choices.

Whole sections of the hotel were not used. I suspect this is because the winter/ski season had not begun.

This great little hotel is located in a central location so ideal for restaurants and bars. The reception staff were extremely helpful and showed us to the rooms which were clean and spacious, and the view was excellent. We also had secure garage parking for our motorcycles so could relax knowing they were secure.

There really was nothing to dislike.

Hotel du Levant is a perfect choice for a biker, there's a garage and the position is perfect for going around at gorge du verdon and exploring the zone. The restaurant is very good, and in the evening it is very charming, perfect for a couple.

Perfect location! Lovely busy outside terrace, perfect for people watching! We were touring Europe on our motorbike and this hotel is perfect as it had secure parking for our bike. Lovely restaurants all around and little quirky shops 😊
