The lovely welcome from Eric was very friendly & informative. Location was excellent with safe & secure parking. The studio was small but clean,comfortable with everything you needed. A lovely breakfast was delivered which we enjoyed on our terrace. The swimming pool looked lovely although we didn't use it. The restaurant recommended by Eric had a magnificent view. We wouldn't hesitate to return & thoroughly recommend a stay here

Awesome stay, very relaxing. Good breakfast. Very friendly host Eric and dog Sookie! Plus, it's located at less than 10 minutes walk from a secluded shore access of the lake. The rooms are small, but very well organised. The pull out bed is very comfortable and feels exactly like a real bed. Each room has a private terrace. Perfect address to spend a relaxing vacation.

We didn't like that we booked only for two nights!! It was too short.

You will not find a nicer host than Eric. A wonderful spot in a prime location to visit the Gorge and the surrounding areas. Small, clean little apartments with an outside patio right next to the pool. Eric was an outstanding host giving us lots of ideas For things to do in the area. Would absolutely stay there again if we went back to the area. Eric also provided a nice little breakfast each morning.

Perfect location to explore the area of Gorges du Verdon; across the road from the lake; as well as a short drive to many lovely villages in the area. Very comfortable and private rooms; with small kitchens and private outdoor patios. The petanque course & swimming pool etc were lovely additions. It felt like our own little oasis; even though the B&B was fully booked when we stayed. The owners have thought of all the convenient touches. Breakfast was also lovely on the main terrace.

Absolutely nothing

The owner Erik gave us such great guidance for where to go and tips to make sure we parked in the right place and drove the loop the correct way. He is very patient and helpful even though we don't speak French. While we didn't use the kitchen it was a miniature kitchen with everything you need.

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Verdon Gorge area. The host is gracious and kind. He called to offer us a massage, sauna and hot tub during our visit. He also helped us book a wonderful & delicious meal at La Truffe in the nearby town of Aups. Check-in was easy, he explained how everything worked patiently and even brought us a bottle of wine for our hot tub/sauna. He has a beautiful sheep dog that was super well behaved and very friendly.

Arrival was a little unusual as there is not intercom for the gate, but it was only a moments confusion. It's a little far away from restaurants and night life, so be prepared to drive on the twisty mountain roads to go anywhere for the evening.

LE CHABASSOLE is a nice guest host, located very comfortably in the gorges-du-verdon. The room was clean but very small and not indulging at all. The stream in the shower was very weak, not exactly what we were expecting and dreaming after a long and difficult hike in the trails of the verdon... The host was very welcoming and helpful. In total - Nice & clean but basic. Good value for money.

Only one towel per person (Usually there are 2 - big one, and small one). Low water pressure in the shower. Small room.

The host was super friendly. Room was small, however we had an outdoor patio to ourselves. Breakfast was basic, but good. The host recommended a great restaurant in town and offered lots of tips. We felt very welcome by the host who provided lots of advice on sights to see in the area. Pool was nice and lit up at night.

Some more space in the room and a coffee maker.

The location of the hotel was perfect for access to the lake and all the local villages. I would say you ideally need a car to get around to towns and villages but the lake itself with facilities is within walking distance. Breakfast was a small buffet style with plenty of options of fruit bread cheeses yoghurts jams etc but no meat. The hosts were amazing in everyway. extremely friendly and accommodating and made you feel really welcomed and looked after the entire time without being in the way. The hotel is exceptionally clean in every area and the pool is a real treat in the late afternoons and evenings. Its a stunning view everywhere you look in the area.

There is really very little to dislike about Chabassole its the perfect little hide away that's ideally located for everywhere on the lake and the verdon area. The only thing I would say as a carnivore is a little meat at breakfast would have made it perfect !

The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Way better than any standard hotel buffet. Very friendly and individuell service. And the location is just dreamy.

Nothing, honestly. I can't think of a single thing. Definitely want to go there again.
