The hotel was very conveniently located, right opposite the main bus and train stations, and only 20 min walk from the old town centre. If you did not want into town, you could use the Metro right in front of the hotel, at 4.50 per day or 13 Euro for a 3-days pass which also included unlimited travel on all Rennes City Busses. The airport is only 15 min away by taxi or shuttle bus. The hotel itself was modern and clean, located in a very quiet area, with many eating places around. The room was convenient and bright, with on-suite bathroom. The hotel did not have a restaurant but hat a small bar and breakfast area, where a delicious breakfast buffet was served every morning. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone spoke French and English, which was great since I did not understand French.

The hotel is extremely close to the train station, has an elevator, and air conditioning. Their front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and met our needs. There is a breakfast option; however, we opted to save money and buy bread from a bakery down the street. The hotel is located within walking distance of many restaurants (the kebab shop nearby is great), shops, pharmacies, and a grocery store. We didn't stay long, but it had everything we needed, and its great location helped us enjoy our quick stopover in Rennes.

The hotel in general was great. The room was clean, the personal were super nice and the location is just perfect if you travel by train or bus. Also it has a lot of restaurants and shops close to the hotel. They also kept our bags for free until the check in time, so we were allowed to discover the city being more confortable. The girls in the reception were super attentive.

The breakfast is really expensive for the little food that they offered, and if they run out of something, they didn’t replenish it (at least they didn’t the days that I spent there) Also, there was a guy who worked in the hotel during the breakfast, that was eating the little food that they offered for the guests, drinking their coffee and milk, and sitting there like if he was another client. Like I said, at least if they replenished the small buffet, I probably wouldn’t even care, but that’s not the case(not what I saw). Lastly, I spilled orange juice in my bed sheets by accident and when they came to clean my room, they didn’t change my sheets. They just did my bed like it wasn’t a juice stain in it, so I had to sleep like that. 😞

Location was great, across from the train station and a short walk to the old centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were nice and quick to respond to questions. I was there over the Easter weekend, and they left a little chocolate egg hunt on the Sunday which was very kind.

I had indicated I would arrive in the morning and received a note from the hotel before checking-in asking if I would like to check-in at 10 am for an extra fee. I agreed and received communication that it was confirmed. However when I arrived they told me it would not be possible to get into a room until 1 pm, and they can't guarantee early check-in. I wish they would not have offered the early check-in if it would not necessarily be possible. The garbage in my room was not emptied for the entire time I was there.

Great location close to train station. Easy walking around Rennes to see sites. Lots of local places to eat. Bed comfy, good shower, quiet. Only had breakfast one morning was plenty to choose from. Great lift and so good with luggage.

The room was very warm. Can't adjust own room temp and was adjusted when I called reception. No little fridge in room to store milk in tea and coffee.

Location is perfect - it's in front of the station and in 10 minutes from the city center. Also a huge advantage is keeping luggage for free. There's a lot of cafes and bakeries nearby, some grocery stores are in several minutes. Linen is clean and fresh. Breakfast is good and starts early in the morning.

During the breakfast some of the food ran out and were refilled only when I was leaving.

A clean and comfortable hotel, which is ideal for exploring the city of Rennes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The station is a two minute walk away from the hotel. The bus stop, (for buses to and from the airport) at Republique, is a ten minute walk away from the hotel. The breakfast was fabulous!

Quite noisy through the night.

The location near the train station was very comfortable since we wanted to explore some cities near Rennes too. The hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable and staff kind and helpful. We appreciated that there was a kettle in the room.

There was no proper wardrobe which could be annoying when staying more days, it would be also nice to have a small fridge in the room. Also, there were just paper cups which is not a pleasant choice, we were able to get a couple of glasses at the reception when we asked though.

The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful - I was advised to take an umbrella as rain was forecast. The receptionist who booked me in (sorry, didn't get her name) had impeccable English, and was very tactful about using it. The location, exactly opposite the SNCF station, as well as the metro and buses was ideal. Breakfast was varied. Very few hotels offer the option of boiling one's own egg. Wide variety of breads, jams, fruit etc, plus madeleine's and crepes. Much better lighting than most hotel rooms.Exc

Some grab rails in the shower and next to the toilet would improve things for people with reduced mobility, at very little extra cost.

The location is just perfect. The room is quite big compared to other French hotels and very clean. The lobby is great to take a seat to have a sip of coffee. Staffs are helpful and everyone has beautiful smile! Especially special thanks to Alix and Celeste. They made my staying in Rennes much happier. I will bring their smiles to my home.
